Gunmen from Sunni Bab al-Tabbaneh district and Alawite neighborhood of Jabal Mohsen, Tripoli, Lebanon have clashed on Friday, “Radio Liberty” reports.
According to the source, at least 6 people are recorded to be killed in the aftermath of severe clashes.
Residents from the two districts have clashed intermittently in recent years, but Friday’s incident came amid heightened tension over the widening popular uprising against Syrian President Bashar Assad. Jabal Mohsen is the stronghold of the pro-Syria Arab Democratic Party, led by Ali Eid.

Hezbollah weapons used in north Lebanon clashes, report Ya Libnan
June 20, 2011
March 14 MP Hadi Hobeich said on Monday that weapons backed by Hezbollah were used in the clashes that broke out on Friday in the city of Tripoli in northern Lebanon
“The data points toward Hezbollah-backed arms that were distributed in Tripoli,” the MP told the Voice of Lebanon
In a reference to Hezbollah, Hobeich said that “there is a party that is armed and that is distributing weapons to everyone.”
“We only benefit by having security across the country,” he added, voicing hope that the newly formed Lebanese cabinet will work on “disarming all Lebanese, including Hezbollah.”
He said that only the Lebanese government should have the authority to use weapons.
Armed clashes erupted in Tripoli on Friday following a rally in support of Syrian protesters. The military official of the Hezbollah and Syrian backed Arab Democratic Party, Ali Fares was killed and 6 others including one army soldier and a seven year old child. At least 59 others were reportedly injured and some are in serious condition .
Many analysts questioned why the Alawite party should have a military official.
Jabal Mohsen ( home of the Arab Democratic Party) and Bab al-Tabbaneh areas have been in recent years the scene of intense clashes between Sunni supporters of Lebanon’s former PM Saad Hariri and Alawites who are loyal to the Hezbollah-led coalition backed by Iran and Syria.

Why Hezbollah Had a Really Bad Week David Schenker July 1, 2011 | 12:00 am Why America Should Be Hoping Bashar Assad Gets Overthrown Meet the Women of Hezbollah Back in 2006, the Lebanese Shiite militia Hezbollah was riding high. Having fought the Israeli army to a standstill, the organization’s leader Hassan Nasrallah declared "divine victory." The war was a public relations coup for the militia, which emerged from the campaign as the most favorable personification of Shiism in the largely Sunni Muslim world. So impressive was the alleged victory that the campaign sparked a widely reported trend of conversion to Shiite Islam in the region. But if 2006 was a divine victory, this week’s Special Tribunal on Lebanon (STL) indictments of four Hezbollah officials and affiliates in connection to the February 2005 assassination of former Lebanese premier Rafiq Hariri, may prove a divine defeat.

While the first reports of a Hezbollah role in the assassination of Hariri surfaced some two years ago, the formal announcement of the indictments will likely serve as an exclamation point to a longer process of depreciation in the group’s reputation that started in 2008, when the organization invaded and occupied Beirut, turning the weapons of "the resistance" on the Lebanese people. That depreciation continued through 2009, when the organization’s chief financier was arrested in a Bernie Madoff-like Ponzi scheme. More recently, in an ironic twist, Hezbollah—which at one time was known as the "Party of the Oppressed"—has emerged as the strongest regional backer of Syria’s murderous Assad regime. Straining credulity, Nasrallah himself has now given two speeches vouching for Assad’s pro-reform bona fides.

Now, for an organization that has long described itself as "the Resistance" to Israel, the revelation that it also specializes in killing Sunni Muslims will, at a minimum, be problematic. Although Nasrallah has spent the better part of the past two years trying to discredit the tribunal, few in the largely Sunni Muslim Middle East will question the court’s accusation that the militia played a central role in the murder of Hariri, the leader of Lebanon’s Sunni community. Indeed, the Arab Spring has contributed to a spike in Sunni-Shiite tensions. Pro-democracy demonstrations in Bahrain, for example, were largely seen by Gulf Arabs as an attempt by the Shiite theocracy in Iran to subvert the Sunni monarchy. In Syria, meanwhile, the rallying cry of the largely Sunni Muslim opposition to the Alawite Assad regime has been "No to Iran, No to Hezbollah!" Given these sentiments—and despite the residual respect for the accomplishments of the organization—the indictment will likely be seen through a largely sectarian prism.

Moreover, the accusations are bound to foment discontent within Nasrallah’s organization, and potentially result in some diminished support for the militia in Lebanon. While they will not come as a shock to anyone, of course, they will reopen old wounds, enraging Lebanon’s Sunni Muslims and, perhaps, disillusioning a few of Hezbollah’s Christian allies. At the same time, some Shiites—Hezbollahis and the organization’s constituents—will likely view the indictments as a liability and may seek to provoke another conflict with Israel, a la 2006, to distract attention from the tribunal. But regardless of Nasrallah’s bravado, Shiites in south Lebanon do not crave another costly war with Israel or a return to civil war at home.

To be sure, notwithstanding the indictment of four of its lieutenants, Hezbollah will remain firmly in control of Lebanon, both politically and militarily. But the organization’s stature in the wider Muslim world will be irrevocably diminished and the change in status of this once seemingly holy Shiite organization will likewise further undermine the position of Iran and Syria in the region. It could also undermine Hezbollah in the eyes of Europe, where the militia has long benefitted from the Continent’s inexplicably tolerant view of the group’s "political" wing. Indeed, given the European Union’s expressed disgust with the ongoing atrocities perpetrated by the Assad regime and its growing frustration with the clerical regime in Tehran, the EU might be inclined to shift its views and finally lump Hezbollah in with these irredeemable regimes.

Until then, despite United Nations Resolutions calling for Lebanon to render the indicted individuals, it is all but certain Hezbollah won’t cooperate with the Special Tribunal. But while the trigger men themselves may slip the noose and be tried by the STL in absentia, the Shiite militia and its sponsors that ordered the Hariri hit will pay a steep price. Indeed, there may or may not ultimately be a conviction in The Hague, but in the Middle East court of public opinion, the verdict on Hezbollah will be guilty.

[Islamic] Republic of Turkey – the First Fascist State in History

Republic of Turkey – the First Fascist State in History
By Times.am at 6 April, 2011, 11:25 am

The Republics of Armenia and Turkey have been in a long-lasting conflict with no resolution in sight. Therefore a proper assessment of the political system and state ideology of Turkey is extremely important for the Armenian state to build a competent foreign policy and properly position itself in the international arena.

The West has traditionally portrayed the Republic of Turkey which emerged on the ruins of the Ottoman Empire as a secular democratic Muslim state. Even though this cliche is being persistently circulated in the Western media and very often uttered by American and European officials, it is far from reality. Unfortunately, Armenia has not yet dared to offer its own assessment of modern Turkish statehood and tacitly put up with the aforementioned international narrative.

In reality, one of the consequences of the Armenian Genocide was the creation of the first fascist state in Europe’s periphery. The Republic of Turkey had all the core characteristics inherent to fascism and Nazism, which later emerged in Italy, Germany and some other European countries. Below the six main characteristics of Turkish fascism are identified:

1. Turkish chauvinism and genocidal policies. Mustafa Kemal (Ataturk) was formerly himself a member of the governing body of Committee of Union and Progress (CUP), the political organization of murderous Young Turks. Once in power, Ataturk and the Kemalists not only continued the Armenian Genocide, but directed their tested policies of extermination of an entire people against Greeks and other ethnic minorities. In Eastern Armenia alone, the Kemalists destroyed 200,000 Armenians (1920-1921), in Smyrna – 100,000 Greeks and Armenians (September 1922), in the Black Sea regions – about 300,000 Pontian Greeks (1919-1923). They also continued the Genocide against the Assyrians, of whom about 500,000 were annihilated by the Turkish forces from 1915 to 1923. Deportations, mass exterminations, political and cultural repressions against the Kurds, the second largest ethnic group in modern Turkey, began immediately after the Armenian Genocide and continue to this day. All Kurdish attempts to protect their basic national and human rights were brutally suppressed in 1925, 1927, and 1937. In 1980s and 1990s, more than a million Kurds were deported to large cities (during these deportations, according to various estimates, two to three thousand Kurdish villages were destroyed).

Turkish chauvinism was legislatively approved in the Constitution of 1937 under the auspicious name of “nationalism” (Milliyetçilik ), openly aiming to assimilate non-Turkic ethnic groups and legally identifying them as Turks. Although later the concept of Turkish “nationalism” was interpreted in different ways, its chauvinistic nature and essence has remained unchanged.

The modern discipline of Holocaust and Genocide Studies identifies the denial of genocide as an extension of genocidal policies. Gregory Stanton, former President of the International Association of Genocide Scholars, emphasizes that “Denial is the final stage of genocide. It is a continuing attempt to destroy the victim group psychologically and culturally, to deny its members even the memory of the murders of their relatives. That is what the Turkish government today is doing to Armenians around the world.” Elie Wiesel, the famous Holocaust survivor and political activist, has repeatedly called Turkey’s 90-year-old campaign to cover up the Armenian genocide a double killing, since it strives to kill the memory of the original atrocities. The Armenian government should have assessed Turkish denialism in similar and even graver terms, but to this date it has failed to do so for no apparent reason.

In contemporary democratic Germany it is simply impossible to imagine a street or institution named in honor of any of the leaders of the Third Reich – indeed it is legally prohibited! Meanwhile, in “democratic” Turkey the leaders of CUP, i.e. the criminal organizers and perpetrators of the Armenian Genocide, are openly glorified. For example, a district in Istanbul, a few avenues and streets in different parts of Istanbul, boulevards in Ankara and Edirne, primary schools in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, and a high school in Konya are all named after Talat Pasha, Minister of the Interior and (in 1917-1918) Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire, who personally orchestrated the Armenian Genocide.

“Democratic” Turkey also actively uses the infamous Article 301 of its Criminal Code (“insulting Turkishness”, in 2008 changed to “insulting the Turkish nation”). This law, among other things, makes the recognition of the Armenian Genocide a crime. About 50 trials have already been held based on this article.

2. Totalitarianism. Up to the late 1940s Turkey was a one-party state. However, even today “democratic” Turkey periodically imposes a ban on one political party or another (even those elected to parliament), while its leaders are thrown in jail on trumped-up political charges. The last of a series of such cases occurred in December 2009, when the Turkish Constitutional Court banned the pro-Kurdish Democratic Society Party (DTP), which had 21 MPs. All the property of DTP was confiscated by the state. This even prompted the European Union, which by and large turns a blind eye to the racist repressions against 20 million Kurds in Turkey, to remind Ankara that “the dissolution of political parties is an exceptional measure that should be used with utmost restraint.”

Turkey’s state propaganda, all-inclusive revision and falsification of the Ottoman and modern Turkish history through carefully controlled scholarship, school curricula, and legally enforced taboos, including severe restraints on free access to information and freedom of expression, resulted in effective brainwashing of its own population.

3. Statism (etatism). The Turkish Constitution of 1937 strengthened the regulatory role of the state not only in the economy, but also in ideology.

4. Anti-communism. Ataturk, despite his friendship with the Soviet Union, was a staunch anti-communist. The Communist Party of Turkey has been banned since 1923 and remained illegal throughout its whole history, having been routinely subjected to most brutal state repressions.

5. Leaderism and the cult of personality. In Turkey, the cult of Ataturk is still in full bloom. Statues and monuments of Ataturk are installed in every city, his portraits are hung in all government and administrative institutions, as well as in school classrooms, and his portraits are on banknotes and coins of all denominations. Criticism of his life activities and biography are criminalized and carrying Ataturk as one’s last name is banned.

6. Militarism and aggression. Turkey is one of the most militarized countries on earth, with the eighth-largest army in the world and second only to the United States in NATO. The decisive sway of the Turkish military on domestic politics is well known: one only needs to recall the three coups d’état carried out by the Turkish army in 1960, 1971 and 1980, as well as the harsh ousting of Islamist Prime Minister N. Erbakan from power in 1997 (incidentally, his ruling “Welfare Party” was also banned).

The Republic of Turkey has repeatedly resorted to military force or threat of force against neighboring countries, such as Syria, Cyprus, Iraq, Greece, and Armenia. The Northern part of Cyprus, Syria’s district of Alexandretta, and the western part of Armenia still remain occupied. The Turkish army also regularly invades Northern Iraq.

In 1920, the first Republic of Armenia fell under the blows of Kemalists. Indeed, the direct order that Karabekir-Pasha received from Mustafa Kemal literally specified “to destroy Armenia morally and physically.” Immediately after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Turkey’s policy towards the “third” Republic of Armenia became explicitly aggressive in nature once again, including an ongoing land-blockade, refusal to establish diplomatic relations, enduring Armenian Genocide denial, support and assistance to Azerbaijan in its preparations for a new military venture against Armenia, etc.

The emergence and subsequent superstructural metamorphosis of fascism in Turkey was not adequately evaluated by Soviet/Russian or Western historiographies and neither was it reflected in international legal and political documents. However, this should not lead anyone astray. Generally, Turkophilia in political and academic circles in both the West and USSR/Russia, is a quite multi-faceted phenomenon and a separate topic for discussion. Here an incomplete explanation will suffice: the USSR was simply unable to call Ataturk a fascist, because “the leader of the world proletariat” Vladimir Lenin and Ataturk signed the infamous Moscow Treaty of “Friendship and Brotherhood” on March 16, 1921 (incidentally, exactly 90 years ago). Meanwhile, the West avoided such an unfavorable evaluation, because Turkey has historically been considered – and actually was – a barrier against Russia/Soviet Union, and a key strategic ally. Turkey’s alliance with the West was legally formalized by its accession to NATO in 1952.

If the international community (alias “the great powers”) does not adequately characterize the fascist essence of the modern Turkish state, this is simply because it has not been interested in such an exposé. But independent Armenia, by failing to officially identify and denounce the fascist nature of Turkish state, not only refuses to clearly see and understand the true ideology, strategic goals and calculations of its age-old archenemy, but also deprives itself of the chance to present properly its own dire geostrategic situation to the world. After all, Armenia’s present security predicaments are a direct result of crimes by Turkish fascism!

Attempts to rehabilitate Turkey without having it incur its due responsibility – in particular, without the territorial restitutions and other compensations to Armenia – can lead to new and repeated genocides. This is the main conclusion that the international community has yet to draw.

Continued incitement against Israel in the PA press flies in the face of U.S. sponsored Road Map plan. Aside from fighting terrorism, one of the primary obligations of the PA under this plan is the elimination of incitement against Israel. As recently as two days ago, at the AIPAC convention in Washington on Monday, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice called on the Arabs to “end incitement in their media.”

Press Release Israel / Middle-East

Anti-Semitism at Core of Hamas Charter

New York, NY, February 27, 2006 … The founding covenant of Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist group whose leaders are poised to take a central role in the governance of the Palestinian Authority, is committed not only to the destruction of Israel and the establishment of an Islamic state in its place, but to raw, unadulterated Jew-hatred.

Adopted in August 1988, the Hamas Charter openly embraces the notorious anti-Semitic forgery, “The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion,” holding it up as evidence that Jews are innately greedy, manipulative and conniving, according to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).  The charter adopts classical anti-Semitic canards: Jews as plotting to control the world, Jews acquiring wealth by stealing, and Jews controlling the levers of power in media, government and finance.  Such stereotypical anti-Semitic canards have been used through the centuries to defame and demonize Jews, leading to violence, pogroms and, ultimately, the Holocaust.

“The Hamas credo is not just anti-Israel, but profoundly anti-Semitic with racism at its core,” said Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director.  “The Hamas Charter reads like a modern-day ‘Mein Kampf.’

The Anti-Semitism of Hamas

Anti-Semitism is a major pillar in the ideology of Hamas.

by Meir Litvak

Anti-Semitism is a major pillar in the ideology of Hamas (acronym of Harakat al-muqawama al-Islamiyya – Islamic Resistance Movement), a Palestinian national-Islamic movement, which perceives and articulates its conflict with Israel in Manichean and absolutist religious terms. Like most other Islamic movements in the Middle East, Hamas regards the conflict with the latest and most fateful phase of the relentless onslaught waged by western imperialism and culture against Islam since the Crusades. Hamas publications portray the Jews as instruments of the West or, alternatively, as the power that controls and manipulates the West in this war. Concurrently, it views the current struggle as the last link in the war, which the Jews have been waging against Islam since its essence. Consequently, Hamas emphasizes the emphasis on the “Islamic essence” of the Palestinian cause.”
[…]

Modern Anti-Jewish Animosity

The modern anti-Jewish animosity of Islamic movements goes much further than traditional Islam. Although Muslims have always viewed Islam as a superior religion, superseding Judaism, they did not consider Judaism as a heresy, which required eradication, as long as it did not challenge Islam’s rule. Historically, Muslims regarded Christianity as a greater threat than Judaism, and devoted greater attention to it in their polemical literature.
However, due to the conflict with Israel, Judaism rather than Christianity has become the prime enemy for the Islamist organizations, drawing inspiration from anti-Jewish utterances in the Koran and from modern European anti-Semitism.
A good example of this vilification is the Hamas Charter, the movement’s canonical document, which provides a picture of the Jews and Judaism drawn from the notorious anti-Semitic tract, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Article 22, for instance, describes the Jews as controlling the world media with their money and as having established secret organizations throughout the world – such as the Freemasons and Rotary Club – “for the destruction of societies and the fulfilment of the goals of Zionism.” They have “caused revolutions all over the world,” from France in 1789 to Russia in 1917 “in order to fulfil their goal.” Likewise, “with their money, they seized control of the imperialist powers and pushed them to subdue many countries in order to squeeze their resources and spread their corruption.” In addition, Hamas accuses the Jews of fomenting all-important wars in history. Most important, the Jews stood behind the outbreak of World War I, which ‘eliminated’ the Ottoman Empire, the “state of the Islamic Caliphate.” The breakdown of Islamic unity opened the way for the establishment of “the Zionist entity” in Palestine. Likewise, they “were behind World War II, through which they made huge financial gains by trading in armaments, and paved the way for the establishment of their state.”
Of special significance are the wars, which the Jews have waged against Islam from the time of the Prophet. Accordingly, the Jews opposed the Prophet from the moment he arrived in Medina, in a desperate effort to prevent the spread of Islam, rejecting his generous offers and distorting his message. They tried to harm the Islamic umma (nation) and dominate it.”

Derogatory Descriptions of the Jews

In many of its publications Hamas employs harsh derogatory descriptions of the Jews, often taken from the Koran, such as “blood suckers,” “brothers of apes,” “killers of the prophets,” “human pigs,” and warmongers “the descendants of treachery and deceit,” “butchers.” They are a “cancer expanding” in the land of Palestine, “threatening the entire Islamic world.” They are “spreading corruption” in the land of Islam. “Deceit and usury are stamped in their nature,” and they are all “thieves, monopolists, and usurers.”

Almost every issue of the Hamas organ, Filastin al-Muslima contains articles enumerating the evil deeds and character of the Jews based on an analysis and exegetes of specific suras (chapters) from the Koran.
Particularly significant, in view of the historical record, are the equations, which Hamas makes between the Jews, the Zionists and the Nazis and the denial of the Holocaust. Hamas argues that Israel’s actions exceed those of the Nazis, and that “the Jews represent Nazism in its most criminal form.” Yet, following the Stockholm conference on the Holocaust, held in January 2000, Hamas declared that the conference had:

A clear Zionist goal, aimed at forging history by hiding the truth about the so-called Holocaust, which is an alleged and invented story with no basis . . .. The invention of these grand illusions of an alleged crime that never occurred, ignoring the millions of dead European victims of Nazism during the war, clearly reveals the racist Zionist face, which believes in the superiority of the Jewish race over the rest of the nations.

cAbd al-cAziz al-Rantisi, Hamas leader from Gaza, went further by denying the Holocaust, while simultaneously charging that “the Zionists were behind the Nazis’ murder of many Jews,” with the aim of intimidating and forcing them to immigrate to Palestine. Furthermore, he claimed that the Nazis “received tremendous financial aid from the Zionist banks and monopolies,” prior to their seizure of power and that “this great financial aid helped the Nazis build the military and economic force needed to destroy Europe and annihilate millions.” “When we compare the Zionists to the Nazis,” Rantisi concluded, “We insult the Nazis,” he concluded.
Reviewing the life of the late Pope John Paul II, the Hamas weekly al-Risala concluded that his 1998 letter, in which he apologized to the Jews for the Holocaust was his “greatest crime”.

Why Anti-Semitism Is Growing in Germany

By Donald Snyder
Published December 22, 2010, issue of December 31, 2010.

Meanwhile, many of Germany’s 4 million Muslims stay connected with events in the Middle East via cable television networks, such as Hezbollah’s Al-Manar and Hamas’s Al-Aqsa. These are anti-Semitic networks that promote Holocaust denial.

Videos justifying the persecution of Jews and promoting child martyrdom for Islam are shown daily on these networks, fueling anti-Semitism among Muslim youth in Germany.

“You cannot undo with education what these satellite broadcasts are doing,” said Matthias Kuntzel, an author and political scientist, in a phone interview from Hamburg.

The programs are fed to Germany on Egyptian and Saudi Arabian satellites. Both countries have refused repeated German requests to stop transmitting Al-Manar. German law prohibits the dissemination of hate. Although Al-Manar was banned in 2008, private homes with satellite dishes continue to receive its programs, making the ban ineffective.

The New York Times Israel Correspondent Shows His Hostility
Barry Rubin

[…]

Why, then, is Erlanger obsessed with this distinction? I suggest that what Erlanger is actually saying is that what is really bad about Hamas is not that it is a racist, terrorist group with genocidal intentions against Israelis but that it is an Islamist organization. If, after all, Hamas is exercising a just right of resistance motivated by Israeli misdeeds, how can it be condemned on those grounds? The trouble with Hamas is that it is a ‘right wing’ religious group rather than a ‘left wing’ nationalist one.

Over 10,000 Palestinians Attend West Bank Rally to Restore Islamic Caliphate
A crowd of more than 10,000 Palestinians Saturday heard denunciations of the PA leadership in the West Bank as infidels at a Liberation Party rally on the sports field of the Quaker-run Friends School in Ramallah.
The party calls for re-establishing the caliphate, or Islamic state, across the Muslim world.
“The caliphate is coming,” read a large poster on the wall of the field.

In the early 1990s, Hamas spokesmen dismissed doubts concerning the realization of a universal Islamic caliphate. For instance, Mahmud al-Zahhar, a Hamas leader in Gaza, claimed that Palestine had always been part of a greater Islamic state and that a distinct Palestinian state had never existed. A comparison between the religious Islamic past and the currently divided Arab world led Zahar to the conclusion that the framework of separate states had utterly failed. He even pointed to the formation of the European Union as an example of the world-wide trend of establishing supranational political units, which the Muslims should adopt as well. If the caliphs were able to control the Muslim nation in the age of the camel and the donkey, then al-Zahar assumed, that the task should be all the more easier today thanks to the modern means of communication and transport. Notwithstanding the movement’s pan- Islamic ambition, spokesmen still gave preference to the Palestinian component of their ideology, even within the framework of the pan- Islamic vision. Accordingly, some of its spokesmen even believed that Jerusalem, not Mecca, would become the capital of the future Islamic caliphate.40 Another example of the wavering between the Islamic vision and the distinct Palestinian identity was the debate between Hamas and al-Qai’da over the priorities of the Islamic struggle.

They are articulating their goals and recruiting thousands of faithful to join the holy fight to reestablish the caliphate and the return of Islamic pride. In a sermon that aired on Hamas’ Al-Aksa TV on April 11, 2008, Yunis Al-Astal, Hamas MP and cleric, told worshipers that Rome, “the capital of the Catholics, or the Crusader capital,” would soon be conquered by Islam, just as Constantinople was. It then, he said, would become “an advance post for the Islamic conquests, which will spread through Europe in its entirety, and then will turn to the two Americas, and even Eastern Europe.”

The Caliphate is Coming
By Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld
FrontPageMagazine.com | Tuesday, January 31, 2006
To Mousa Abu Marzuk, Deputy Chief of Hamas’ Political Bureau in Damascus, HAMAS’ triumph is an important springboard towards the establishment of the Caliphate – a global Islamic state, where life would be dictated by the Shari’a.
In a statement Abu Marzuk made on January 26, following HAMAS’ sweeping victory of the Palestinian legislative elections, he said that HAMAS, the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), is reaping the fruits of its efforts over the last six decades. It was established in Palestine in 1936 – not in 1987, as most mistakenly think. Since then, the movement, according to Abu Marzuk, has carried out its political, social agenda, including Dawa (Prosetylization) and Jihad.

Hamas
Allah, kill Christians and Jews “to the last one”

by Itamar Marcus and Barbara Crook

[Dec. 8, 2010]

A video on official Hamas TV calls for Allah to kill Jews, Christians, Communists and their supporters. The video asks Allah to “count them and kill them to the last one, and don’t leave even one.”

As Palestinian Media Watch has reported this call for the killing of non-Muslims was a regular pronouncement by both Palestinian Authority (Fatah) and Hamas political and religious leaders for many years starting in July 2000.

For years, sermons by religious leaders on official Palestinian Authority TV under Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas routinely presented the killing of Jews as a religious obligation and a fulfillment of the Islamic ideal.

Due to PMW’s exposure of these sermons, which led to international criticism and pressure, Mahmoud Abbas, whose office controls PA TV, has been forced to prevent the broadcast of sermons calling for extermination of Jews on PA TV.

The latest sermon of this nature on PA TV was in January 2010.

[…]see the section on PMW’s website documenting the PA and Hamas depicting the killing of Jews as an Islamic obligation.

The following is the transcript of the Hamas video clip:

“Allah, oh our Lord, vanquish Your enemies, enemies of the religion
[Islam] in all places.
Allah, strike the Jews and their sympathizers,
the Christians and their supporters,
the Communists and their adherents.
Allah, count them and kill them to the last one, and don’t leave even one.”

The Hamas advocates Killing Jews, simply for being Jews

[…]
IDF Spoksperson 24 November 2002

The Iz-Adin Al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas, published
(23 November 2002) a bulletin on their official website, advocating the
murder of Jews simply for the fact of that they are Jews.

The bulletin was published to commemerate the anniversary of the death of Imad Akal, a senior Hamas official, killed in the Gaza Strip on November 24, 1993. The bulletin quotes Akal as saying: “We will knock on the doors of Heaven with the skulls of the Jews”. The bulletin depicts an axe shattering the word “Al-Yahud” (Jews) and splintering the skulls of Jews. The words Al-Qassam are engraved on the axe.

http://www.imra.org.il/story.php3?id=14650

Here are some examples of the racist Arab-Palestinian Hamas’ “Ezzedeen Al-Qassam Brigades” from its own site

These include official attitudes and Hate, Jihadi Messages (like calls: to kill all Jews and Christians), posted since Aug/Sep/Oct 2010, still left on December 22, 2010.
It entails:

  • Sympathizing with Holocaust denial/deniers, perpetuating Nazi-type theories about Jews.
  • Protesting Holocaust remembreance
  • Racist Islamic-Militant dehumanization of Jews as “apes and swine”
  • Despite some vague declarations, in reality, the underline message (though not publically/officially) is that the ‘war is on the JEWS’ as a whole.’
  • Calling for [ethnic cleansing] expulsion of all Jews from the entire area.
  • Justifying killing Jews who “derserve death.”
  • Ironically, or rather typically, these real Racist Arabs, actual Muslim bigots and hidden Nazis’ sympathizers use the terminology: “racism,” or/and “fascism” and even “nazism.” (coating their messages with connecting anti-radical-terrorists operation with something about supposed “against non-Jews” crap, along the lines of KKK’s David Duke language) – to demonize Israeli defenders.

April 7, 2010

It's final, The 'war on terror' is on the Dalai Lama, the Pope, father O'reilly, Rabbi Finklestein, the boy scouts

Apr. 2010

It seems that the more time we have with Obama as President., the more "clarity" on the world I have.

"President Barack Obama's advisers plan to remove terms such as "Islamic radicalism" from a document outlining national security "
http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D9EU2T1O0&show_article=1

It has been a long and painful process, but rewarding, finally I simply start opening my eyes.

Since most "conflicts' and bloodshed involve Islamic forces [1] [2], I have –somehow– managed to de-Islamize them and put the blame  squarely on the west, as a good appeaser would do,  Wow! I am automatically guaranteed a blessing from Jimmy Carter now.

Here it is, a digest.

The sectarian violence in Iraq & Al Qaeda are all oppressed victims of Imperial occupation, it's all NATO's fault that the Arabs, Muslims hate each other so much for… so many years before.

Al Qaeda, as you are aware, serves as a mouthpiece for the "oppressed Muslims," Did you know -for example- that A.Q. planned on DEC. 2001 to bomb the London financial district [3], why, "because of the occupation in Iraq of 2003, of course, amazingly enough they also "forgot" to mention the "oppressed Palestinians" in their first tape….

Forced conversions to Islam in Pakistan [4] or in other Muslim countries? That's entirely a "minor" problem, oppressing Christians [5] [6] in the Islamic world, among them on the Copts [7], [8], Assyrians [9], on Lebanese [10], Iraqi Christians [11], in the "Palestine" area [12] [13] [14] [15] [16], in Nigeria [17]? that's Christians' fault, I mean, as a whole, why can't middle eastern minorities just "put up AND shut up?"

All the attacks on Americans [18]are because of 'what we do,' fact, since Obama took office, the Islamic plots (including by American Muslims [19]) to massacre are simply "gone"…

The fact that the Taliban is not defeated is because Bush was too "tough."
After all, these cute warriors, look at them, they just want "freedom" & basic 'rights' to impose Sharia in hellish way, treat women like subhuman.

The Sudanese genocide [20] by the Arab Muslim regime is entirely an "internal" matter, the UN should be more busy condemning Israel for the "crime" of fighting for survival, after all that's what the Arab oil lobby is for.

The Pakistani Islamic terrorists hitting Indians are just because of the "Kashmir' conflict (and as you know Kashmir is because of Buddhists & Judea-Christians…[21] nothing to do with Islamists on Indians long war… [22]), for just as soon as you solve, it will immediately disappear… they'll join hands, sit in kumbaya… together with the frequent terror attackers on Pakistanis [23] [24] [25] themselves…

The Islamists in Somalia have all the "right" to impose their strict Islamic system, especially if it involves eliminating infidels.

Honor killing epidemic? not an issue, as a rule, we should "respect" Islamic countries, communities and their "unique" way of life.

It has been "proven" that the Islamists that murder locals or westerners in the Philippines, or that massacre Buddhists in Thailand [26] [27] [28] [29] [30], all in the name of Islam's Allah, the Islamic themes in the bombings in Russia [31] or the plots in China [32] [33], or the frequent busted terror plots in Europe [especially in: UK, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Belgium, etc.], are all "made up stuff" by the 'right wing.'

As you know, the Arab Palestinians are merely "resisting occupation" including all the mass murder in the years before "occupation" [34] [since at least in the 1920's [35]] occurred… which is why they increased their militant Hamas-tan as soon as Israelis gave them Gaza in 2005… as the attacks on Jews since the Oslo accords picked up even higher [36], because it's all about "on-going-struggle" when they call to kill all Yahud (Jews) (including by pro-Palestine actvists in the west [37] [38], when they support "wiping off map" [39] [40] [41] [42] [genocide [43] [44]] mantra they are just "misunderstood," when they use their women & children as toys to die [45] [46] [47] [48] [49] in their bloody propaganda 'victimhood' game – they are "oppressed-heroes," heck they're fighting for "freedom" when they crack down on anything that is not "in line" not "purely Islamic," or that can be in the way of their dream of an all Islamic domination – caliphate vision – final goal (as their clerics & masses demand [50]).

The Arab Muslim bigoted apartheid campaign against Israel, is because they simply "ache" for the "poor" Arab-Palestinians, because they love so much their Palestinian brothers [51], [52], which is why these guys suffer so much in: Lebanon, Kuwait, Iraq, you name it.

Big deal, Syria is sponsoring terrorism's crimes against humanity, oppression [53] all its citizens especially racism against Kurds [54].

Slavery in the Gulf Arab states, who the hack cares, so Asians are real (not metaphoric) slaves, sex [55], or labor [56], it's a completely "internal Arab Muslim culture" thing. we can't interfere.

Hypocrisy in Saudi Arabian "moderate" wahabbi totalitarian kingdom, you say? at least they fight terrorism… in planting the seeds of hatred against the "apes & pigs" in Maddrasas in the west [57].

I mean what's all this talk about sanctions on Islamic Republic of Iran, the Islamic republic is so "right" in its immense oppression of all its population, bigoted persecution of all minorities [58] [59] [60] [61], so what if they send their Hezbollah murderers to wreak havoc, shed blood in Lebanon, Egypt, Israel, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq… so what if they want a nuclear power to dominate & dictate the world with their Mahdi apocalyptic plan [62] [63] [64] [65]? I mean, who are we to protest our right to survive?

Last but not least, I am "convinced' that if we declare to our enemies who wish to destroy us that we won't hit them with nukes they will simply change their minds and not fight us…

Geez!
What a relief!
I am so glad I finally figured it out, now I am relax at last, and most of all so "safe."

Not All The Terror In The World Is Muslim. But “99.44%” Is. Sort Of Like Ivory Snow

April 7, 2010

Maybe you remember Ivory Snow. Maybe you don’t. In any case, this is not about soap. It’s about murder, mass murder.

Benny Morris has written, for next week’s hard-copy edition of TNR (available in this space some days thereafter), a review of a book by a Kremlin diplomatic hack named Yevgeny Primakov. It is called Russia and the Arabs. Morris proves that even a mendacious writer sometimes inadvertently tells the truth. So what Primakov shows is that Moscow, under the boot of the Communists and of their less doctrinaire successors, financed, collaborated with, and fronted for Muslim terror.

The more research that comes out about the modern history of the Arab orbit and of the Muslim world, the more evidence we have of the cooperation of secular totalitarianism with these two phenomena.

The latest of the books in this regard is from Jeffrey Herf, a TNR contributor whose writings for us are almost always provocative, not to mention his book Nazi Propaganda for the Arab World. The Arabs during the Second World War learned tactic and ideology from the Reich. Soviet and Russian entanglement with Arab terror and Palestinian terror has been axiomatic for years. Anti-Semitism was a keystone of the three ideologies.

But now Islamic jihadists have continued their warfare against the Russian people, with 39 utter innocents killed in the Moscow train system, 12 in Dagestan, and two or three others elsewhere. These give the sense of an ongoing war against the civilian population. I believe it will continue.

Dmitri Medvedev has retaliated just in words for now. But he does promise “a harsher, crueler terror crackdown.” Still, we all feel a sense of fraternity with the citizens of greater Russia. They are today’s victims. But Russia has been complicit with so many of the world’s terror systems that it is not innocent. It cannot be.

And now back to my “99.44% pure” Muslim origins of terror. Against non-Muslims: the Philippines, Thailand, Nigeria, Sudan, Chechnya, India, Britain, Spain, Germany, Holland, Denmark, France, Egypt, the U.S., Israel. And against other Muslims: the Shi’a in Iraq (the most haunted and taunted Muslims in the world), Gaza, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Indonesia.

Gee!, What happened to all the UN “anger” and all those “innocent” demonstrations by the Arab Muslim world over the poor, poor Arab adults who cause their kids deaths and blame the Zionists (Hezbollah 2006, Hamas in Gaza 2008-2009)???

Where are all those dead kids and graphic images of blood 24 hrs around the clock on (chief inciter of Arab violence:) Al Jazeera now????

The terrible double standard is screaming!, yet, we all know the answer that is as ugly, the bigoted Islamic world and Arab street gets “upset” only if it’s an infidel that dares tries to survive, but “fellow Muslims” can do what they want and HOW they want it, never mind the complete silence in the Muslim on Muslim crimes in; Iraq, Sudan, Arab Palestinians on each other, etc.

The bigger question is of course about the complete silence by the radical left, in US, UK, Israel, etc. who are always up in arms if a western flexes a muscle to defend HIS defenseless civilians.

Or that organization hijacked (like the UN) by Arab lobbies: the ‘Human Rights Watch’, don’t hold your breath here either.

In short, the bigoted Ummah (Muslim nation) leaders, clerics, media, educators, etc. never cares about Muslim lives, as a pure negative force… it can only generate energy from anti-infidel hatred, especially from “apes” and “pigs”… where those “free Palestine” demonstrations (translation:) of “Hamas, Hamas, Jews (back) to Gas”!, all fits in place.

There you have it, Islamic fascism and radical-left’s hypocrisy ensemble – again.

Non-Arab and/or non-Muslims in the “Arab” world [Racist Arabism and bigoted Islamism]

Non-Arab and/or non-Muslims in the “Arab” world [Racist Arabism and bigoted Islamism]
eretzyisroel ^

Non-Arab and/or non-Muslims in the “Arab” world

One key element missing from the discussion is the question of non-Arab and/or non-Muslims in the “Arab” world. The Arab nationalists have succeeded in establishing some 23 non-democratic, ethnically (Arab) and religiously (Islam) defined nation-states in over 1 million square miles of territory, often at the expense of non-Arabs, such as the Kurds (Muslims, non-Arabs), Assyrians (Christians, non-Arabs), Copts (Christians, non-Arabs), southern Sudanese (Christian and pagan non-Arabs), Maronite Lebanese (Christian and mostly identified with their Phoenician ancestors) and Mizrahi Jews. Arab nationalist ideology claims all this territory exclusively as “Arab” despite the legitimate claims of non-Arabs and/or non-Muslims to ancient homelands long ago arabized with the spread of Islam, often through conquest.

I believe that the Arab opposition to the existence of non-Arab, non-Muslim Israel is based on the ideological motivations which led to the persecution of non-Arab minorities. The Assyrians suffered massacre and expulsion by the Arab nationalists of Iraq in the 1920s and 1930s. The Kurds have been persecuted and have suffered terribly for their struggle to establish an independent Kurdistan (at the hands of the Turks and Iranians as well, but that is another story.)

Arab nationalist ideology, and its Islamicist couterpart, cannot and will not tolerate non-Arab and non-Islamic peoples organizing themselves into their own independent nation states. Indeed, I have seen on Islamicist web sites the goal of “regaining” Spain in the name of Islam.

I believe that we need to place Israel’s struggle to survive into this context. Any non-Arab/non-Islamic state in the region must rely on strength (political, moral, spiritual and military) if it wants to survive in the Middle East. In this context can we thus place Israel’s demand for security. It is not security for the sake of security, not seucirty for the sake of oppressing another people, but security for the sake of survival against two racist and exclusivist ideologies (Arabism and Islamicism) which have succeeded in repressing the just struggles for national self-determination of most non-Arab peoples in the Middle East.

To this end, I highly recommend looking at the following web sites:

A few points about the racist UN – Durban “anti-racism” conference

April 20, 2009

A few points about the racist UN – Durban “anti-racism” conference

Why Western countries tend to boycott it.

1) Since Muslim nations (OIC & Iran) push to criminalize criticism of Islamists’ bigotry, doesn’t it mean that anything being said in that conference is the opposite of tolerance and of truth?

2) How can the UN avoid the largest practitioner of racism, which is Arabism (against: Kurds, Berbers, Africans, Jews, Assyrians, Asians, etc.), but focuses on the so called “anti-Arab racism”?
[ Arabism is racism! ]

3) When will Arab racists & Islamic bigots let go of the UN and stop hijacking it with it’s lobbies (silencing Arab racist genocide in Darfur, yet daming innocent Israelis who merely try to survive)?

4) Why is Arab terror singling out Jews not racist?

5) Why is the essence of the entire “conflict'” in the M.E. not a form of bigotry by Arab Muslims who can’t “accept” the non Arab non Muslim pluralistic democratic Israel?

6) Are Jews living, or even allowed to live in racist “Palestinian” controlled territories (Judenrein – ethnic cleaning)?

7) When will lefty radicals (Meretz/B’Tzelem) talk about preferential treatments to Arabs OVER Jews inside Israel, like in Hebron and in other cases?

8) Why are (Arab Palestinian or Hezbollah) the ones using its own kids as cannon fodders considered “innocent victims”?

9) Is Israel battling just terrorism or an ARAB MUSLIM CAMPAIGN  OF GENOCIDE since the 1920’s?

10) How more racist can the Durban-conference get, If the two oppressive regimes: Libya & Iran are the “stars”?
Libya – whose Muamar Qaddafi (besides his own persecution of non-Arabs, especially blacks in his country) the one of the champions in today’s racist Arabization, and Arabist racism against Africa (whose “vision” has been compared to Hitler’s “lebensraum”), in: Chad, Nigeria, etc., ultimately his crimes  in the Sudan region helped in leading the current Al-Bashir’s genocide on Millions of Africans (financed mainly by Libya and S. Arabia).
Iran, the regime of Islamic bigotry’s oppression on its own population with an added special persecution on all on-Muslims: Christians, Baha’i, Jews, etc. or on non-“pure-Persians” like: Ahwazi – Arabs, Kurds, Azeris, Baluchis, etc. now under the leadership of: Mahmoud Ahmadinejad [EichmannJihad – the Islamic Hitler] who plays as if he “denies” the holocaust only in order to prepare for (his wishful) the second, “wiping off Israel”.

Thus, the shame of the UN, kidnapped by the epitome of intolerance today, the infamous twin fascism: Arab racism, as in Gadhafi, and Islamic bigotry as in Amadinejad, are going to be “preaching” (and determine) to the world on tolerance.

Madrassa: Breeding ground of Jihadists

March 31, 2009

Madrassa: Breeding ground of Jihadists

Modern Ghana – ‎Mar 30, 2009‎ By Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury

When I for the first time forecasted that Madrassa was becoming breeding ground of Jihadists, many of my fellow journalists instantly raised their fingers at me saying, I was serving the purpose of ‘foreign interest’. Policymakers in the government were even much aggressive in bringing sedition, treason and blasphemy charges against me. They tried to give justification to such actions saying, my criticizing the Madrassa and forecasting the rise of Islamist militancy within such institutions; I was hurting the sentiment of Muslims and was doing harm to Islam!

Ridiculous indeed!

In this article, I will discuss many of the unknown and untold facts on Madrassas in the world, along with some very exclusive investigative information on such religious schools.

Muslims consider Madrassas as the basic place of generating clergies as well as those who can be the custodians of Islam in the respective countries. But, many are still unaware that in the name of religious education, major segment of such Madrassas are active as breeding ground of Jihadists. Instead of real Islamic education, the students are taught of religious hatred. Their brains are filled with the poison of hate towards everyone who is not a Muslim. Moreover, the very old notion of ‘killing Jews and Christians’ and remaining a good Muslim is very strong planted in the minds of thousands of students of such institutions.

For past several years, I have done extensive investigation into the Madrassa education system and the Qaomi [Koranic] Madrassa in Bangladesh as well as studied extensively on such religious schools around the world and each of my inquisitive investigations finally ended in identifying growth of radical and militant Islam right within the 64,000 Qaomi Madrassas in Bangladesh, as well others within the Islamic and non Islamic world.

Although people are always putting focus on Madrassas involvement in breeding Jihadists, they are yet to investigate the inside stories in Madrassas, where male and female students are sexually abused by the clergies on a regular basis. Sodomy is a growing phenomenon in the Madrassas, and according to various reports, silent spread of HIV and Aids is gradually putting a huge blanket on the large number of students and teachers coming of such institutions.

Terrorism and rise of radical Islam is a global problem. Islamic terrorism [also known as Islamist terrorism or Jihadist terrorism] is religious terrorism by those whose motivations are rooted in their interpretations of Islam. Statistics gathered for 2006 by the National Counterterrorism Center of the United States indicated that “Islamic extremism” was responsible for approximately 25% of all terrorism fatalities worldwide, and a majority of the fatalities for which responsibility could be conclusively determined. Terrorist acts have included airline hijacking, beheading, kidnapping, assassination, roadside bombing, suicide bombing, and occasionally rape.

According to some experts, Perhaps the most resonant incident of Islamic terrorism was the 9/11 attack on the United States. Other prominent attacks have occurred in Iraq, Afghanistan, India, Israel, Britain, Spain, France, Russia and China. These terrorist groups often describe their actions as Islamic jihad [struggle]. Self-proclaimed sentences of punishment or death, issued publicly as threats, often come in the form of fatwas [Islamic legal judgments]. Both Muslims and non-Muslims have been among the targets and victims, but threats against Muslims are often issued as takfir [a declaration that a person, group or institution that describes itself as Muslim has in fact left Islam and thus is a traitor]. This is an implicit death threat as the punishment for apostasy in Islam is death under Sharia law.

The controversies surrounding the subject include whether the terrorist act is self-defense or aggression, national self-determination or Islamic supremacy; the targeting of noncombatants; whether Islam ever could condone terrorism; whether some attacks described as Islamic terrorism are merely terrorist acts committed by Muslims or nationalists; how much support there is in the Muslim world for Islamic terrorism; whether the Arab-Israeli Conflict is the root of Islamic terrorism, or simply one cause.

Osama bin Laden is the millionaire son of a construction magnate. Ayman al-Zawahiri, Bin Laden’s deputy, is a medical doctor. Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the leader of Al Qaida in Iraq was an uneducated street thug who converted to a radical form of Islam in prison. Recently we saw a female Belgian convert to Islam become a suicide bomber in Iraq. It is difficult to identify what such people have in common other than a willingness to kill — and sometimes to die — for a cause they are convinced is right. No study has so far been able to explain why some people become terrorists and others don’t. Socio-psychological factors and questions of identity seem to be important and the dynamics of various cults have some striking parallels to terrorist cells. One thing we frequently see in the trajectory of terrorists is a conversion experience that occurs within a small, tight-knit group. The dynamics of such groups tend to reinforce personal conviction, especially among individuals whose other social networks have frayed or can’t match the intensity of bonds forged in what is for them an existential struggle.

Often the group is led by a ‘charismatic figure’ such as a ‘jihad veteran’, or jihad entrepreneur who raises funds and recruits for jihad. Such groups are found in many contexts, from prisons to social clubs. Often they are associated with a mosque, but generally they do not hold meetings in the mosque itself. Also the internet is playing a role in this conversion by exposing people to extremist views and the possibilities presented by jihad.

Many of the members of such cells have little history of extremism — or of piety. The most pious are not necessarily those most likely to become terrorists. Indeed, one could argue that for some people it is their poor understanding of Islam — and for the young suicide bomber, perhaps even their naivety — that has made them susceptible to extreme views.

Some analysts have argued that the root causes of terrorism lie not with the psychology or life experience of the individual but with deeper underlying political and economic currents. These root causes are variously listed as poverty, underdevelopment, un-employment, the demography of youth bulges, Palestinian dispossession and so forth.

These so-called ‘root causes’ are relevant but they do not go to the heart of the issue. First, there is the obvious fact that many terrorists are middle class or even from elites. Social studies of terrorists show that they are generally better educated than the broader population.

Secondly, terrorism is not limited to developing countries: look at the history of terrorism in developed democracies such as the United Kingdom. Finally, behind talk of root causes there is an assumption that they are somehow more real than the terrorists’ self-proclaimed motivations, that economic factors are more solid than ideology or identity. But as the protests over the Danish cartoons showed: issues of belief, identity and culture are just as real as material ones for many Muslims, and may well drive the emotions of many even more strongly.

That said, dysfunctional economies and authoritarian political systems magnify feelings of frustration and anger which, in turn, provide fertile soil for those who manipulate questions of identity and victim hood in the cause of violent jihad.

Since 9/11 the nature of the terrorist threat has changed. It has become more decentralized and amorphous. Al Qaida is still an active threat even if it has not been directly responsible for any major attack for the past two years. Al Qaida is fighting a war that it believes will last for generations. It has not given up its goal of conducting catastrophic attacks in the United States. We should not forget that eight and a half years passed between the first and second World Trade Centre attacks, and that the relative failure of the first attack seems to have acted more as an incentive than a dampener.

One of Al Qaida’s ‘achievements’ has been to draw many groups and Jihadists out of their local struggles and focus them on the ‘far enemy’. Zawahiri, now Al Qaida’s chief ideologist, himself moved from a local, Egyptian preoccupation to a global, anti-US ideology. And the story of Jamaah Islamiyah in Indonesia is about the transformation of a group which grew out of a national Islamist movement — Darul Islam — and has gone on to adopt the global Jihadist view of Al Qaida and others.

The terrorist threat today is best understood as a network of networks.

Sometimes the groups and cells that make up this extended network are held together by formal alliances — the best example is the alliance between core Al Qaida and Abu Musab al-Zarqawi’s Al Qaida franchise in Iraq. But most often the links are informal, based on personal contacts. Surprising to some as it may seem, Al Qaida does not exercise command and control over this extensive network. Continued
