‘Arab Spring’: The chilly cruel winter reality of Arab racism and Islamic bigotry

Not that ethnic racism and religious bigotry weren’t rampant before the so-called “Arab spring” sprung about. But the intolerance tide seems to be only worsening, and without an Arab dictator to “hold” various factions together, vulnerability expand, risks rise.

RELIGIOUS BIGOTRY:

As the D.B. puts it: “Violence Against Egypt’s Copts in an Intolerant Arab Spring.. The elephant in the room of the Arab Spring is now the mistreatment of minority communities—Christians and others—across the Arab world.”

FPM asks: Hillary Clinton Promises to Save Egypt’s Christians? … the guise of the “Arab spring” and “people-power,” all hailed and supported by the U.S.—worked for religious minorities in the Arab world?

In Feb. Diana West wrote: “Islamic bigotry kept under wraps in Egyptian uprising.” Especially at the brutalization and racist rape by Arab Muslim mob in Egypt of CBS journalist L. Logan (thinking she was Jewish) and the MSM silencing the story.

In May, the New York Times reported on the growing Islamic anti-Christian attacks: “Egypt’s Christians Fear Violence as Changes Embolden Islamists.” That “Coptic Christians, many of whom have felt less secure since Egypt’s dictator stepped down, held a sit-in May 19 in Cairo.”

Explaining: The revolution has empowered the majority but also opened new questions about the protection of minority rights like freedom of religion or expression as Islamist groups step forward to lay out their agendas and test their political might.

Adding:
Around the region, Christians are also closely watching events in Syria, where as in Egypt Christians and other minorities received the protection of a secular dictator, Bashar al-Assad, now facing his own popular uprising.

Z. Baumann, in a June article, asks about Christians: “Arab Spring’s losers of revolution?”

Christian Persecution monitor (Aug.) “Common Fear, Opposing Reactions Define Differences between Christians in Egypt and Syria.”
Later on, in that month:
Egyptian Islamic Jihad Official: If We Come To Power We Will Launch Islamic Conquest To Instate Sharia and “Exterminate” Christians If They Cause Problems.

The Copts Association and Christian of Iraq said (Sep.) The Arab Spring and Christian Persecution… Throughout the region, Christians have been targeted by Muslim mobs … that the Arab Spring is posing a threat to Christian minorities throughout the Middle East.

As the Arab Islamic mob (Sep.) attacked the Israeli embassy in Cairo, they were justifiably described by a Western journalist. “They Were Animals.” Still think, the Arab-Israeli conflict is about “land…?”

ETHNIC RACISM

Introduction:
From a 2006 article in The Guardian: “The race taboo,”: The existence of racist attitudes within Arab countries is often denied, resulting in scandalous displays of prejudice against certain ethnic groups. The Arab countries, mostly are in denial. The A to Z of ethnic and religious groups in the Middle East embraces Alawites, Armenians, Assyrians, Baha’is, Berbers, Chaldeans, Copts, Druzes, Ibadis, Ismailis, Jews, Kurds, Maronites, Sahrawis, Tuareq, Turkmen, Yazidis and Zaidis (by no means an exhaustive list), and yet serious discussion of ethnic/religious diversity and its place in society is a long-standing taboo.
If the existence of non-Arab or non-Muslim groups is acknowledged at all, it is usually only to declare how wonderfully everyone gets along.

In April this year, indingenous group who suffer discrimination: Tunisia’s Berbers test the limits of country’s newfound freedoms

Probably most noted group of non-Arabs to suffer from Arab racism are blacks.

Already in March, Rebels execute black immigrants while forces kidnap others… Therefore the Arab racism of Libyan rebels constitute crimes against humanity.

From NER, March 10 “Arab Racism On Display In Libya.”

From a Mar 5, 2011 “Black Africans Caught in Libyan Arab Racism” That Libyan rebels, overwhelmingly racist and anti-African…

The New York Times reported in September: “Libyans Turn Wrath on Dark-Skinned Migrants,” That As rebel leaders pleaded with their fighters to avoid taking revenge against “brother Libyans,” many rebels were turning their wrath against migrants from sub-Saharan Africa, imprisoning hundreds for the crime of fighting as “mercenaries” for Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi without any evidence except the color of their skin.
Explaining the scapefoating of black: Still, in a country with a long history of racist violence, it has become an article of faith among supporters of the Libyan rebels that African mercenaries pervaded the loyalists’ ranks. And since Colonel Qaddafi’s fall from power, the hunting down of people suspected of being mercenaries has become a major preoccupation.

Even the Arab-based Arab-biased al-Jazeera reported testimonies of “how race-based discrimination and violence, long an issue in Libya, had been inflamed by the war.”

From the HuffingtonPost, September “The Great Taboo: Arab Racism,” With the liberation of Libya come less happy reports from Amnesty and Physicians for Human Rights of rebels slaughtering scores of black Africans, believing they were all pro-Gaddafi mercenaries. While the dictator did hire some fighters from sub-Saharan Africa, the vast majority of black Africans in Libya are entirely innocent immigrants, one million of whom are guest workers.

Tarek Fatah (October) on “The future of the Arab Spring”

I’m very pessimistic about the Arab world… I think there will be far more chaos than Obama can manage. There’s nothing there. The Muslim Brotherhood and the Islamists have billions of dollars. The jean-clad, western secularists have to worry about their girlfriends, and their New York Yankee hats and every silly stuff, and Twitter and Facebook. While the real world is moving on. All these guys will come back to New York, and Boston, and Toronto and say, ‘Oh, we went there for sabbatical and had fun in Cairo.’ While the Muslim Brotherhood is deeply entrenched. Not a single black face in all of Arab Spring. What does it say to you? 20% of the Arab population is black, but you can’t see a single black face. It’s a completely racist movement. It says non-Arabs in the Arab Spring have no rights. IF you’re Bangladeshi, Filipino, Indonesian…you have absolutely no rights. This is worse Apartheid. That’s why Africans are fleeing Libya, dying in the Mediterranean, to get to Italy or to Israel.

On the plight of Africans in Arab Egypt, UNHCR (October) says no more resettlement for refugees from Libya in Egypt…‎ For the Africans now stranded in Egypt, Ali, a Somali refugee who has been waiting for nearly a decade to be relocated, he warns that there will be an upsurge in anti-Africanism and racism toward the refugees who are barred from work and education in the country.

Black activists in October decried: “Why The New York Times Ignored Libya Ethnic Cleansing‎… Not Genocide If “Our Team” Commits the Crime.”

When a major newspaper supports so-called “rebels,” even though the signs are abundant from the very beginning that they comprise sadistic killers, radical Islamists, and anti-Black racists, what does it do at the end of the day, when the evidence can’t be hidden anymore that the so-called “liberators” are in fact genocidal killers?
[…] Complicity is widely shared. Not even the first African American president of the United States, Barack Obama, has condemned the targeted killings of Black Libyans. Not a word of condemnation from Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State, who is in Tripoli today. Nothing from United Nations Secretary General Ban ki-Moon and the ICC’s Ocampo.

Carina Ray (Sep.): “Gaddafi and the Mercenary Myth‎.” The mistreatment and murder of blacks by rebel forces in Libya is an extension of long-simmering anti-immigrant sentiments that are directed at sub-Saharan Africans. Xenophobia and racism are both at play here.

In that month: Persecution of Black Libyans draws international outcry‎
Workers World. They must protest the racist persecution of Black Libyans and all Africans and demand that it stop immediately.

A Sep. report: “Poverty Skyrockets in the World’s Poorest Country Due to Racial Violence After Revolution in Neighboring Libya.”

Niger is the poorest country in Africa and the world: Many of its people go hungry every day, many children die before their fifth birthday, and countless thousands have died in past famines. Now, it’s getting much poorer, as black migrant workers from Niger are forced to leave neighboring Libya because of the color of their skin in the aftermath of the revolution there. Workers used to send money home to Niger from Libya, enabling impoverished family members to survive. But now these workers have been forced to leave Libya, where some black migrant workers were lynched, and many others have been rounded up and jailed in appalling conditions after being falsely accused of being mercenaries for the brutal, recently-ousted dictator Muammar el-Qaddafi…
Still, in a country with a long history of racist violence, it has become an article of faith among supporters of the Libyan rebels that African mercenaries…

The first genocide of the century was planned and perpetrated in the most atrocious way, because, we believe, the Young Turks were convinced that the Turkish race is the only one entitled to live on the land it occupies…

As a matter of historical fact, the Turks have a long and bloody history of cruelty and genocide. They colonized the entire Middle East, forced conversions or murdered those who resisted. Islamic gender and religious apartheid flourished.

Turkish Islamic Apartheid against Greeks

End the illegal Turkish occupation

The 3Rs:
1 Remove all Turkish troops from Cyprus
2 Repatriate all colonists
3 Return all refugees to their homes without preconditions, restrictions or discrimination

In 1974 Turkey invaded Cyprus, illegally dividing the country and committing war crimes and mass human rights abuses. Hundreds of thousands of Greek Cypriots were ethnically cleansed by the Turkish army.

Turkey continues to violate international law and United Nations resolutions that demand the withdrawal of the Turkish army and the right to return for Greek Cypriot refugees.

We are protesting because Turkey still maintains its illegal apartheid regime that racially discrimates against Greek Cypriots by preventing them from returning to their homes and lands.

The Greek Cypriots are the legal owners of 82 percent of land in the occupied north and we want to return. We will never give up our properties to those who seek to profit from their theft and illegal purchase.

Is it right that Turkey, which aspires to join the European Union still maintains military occupation of one third of the Republic of Cyprus, a country which is a full member of the EU?

The human rights of the Cypriots must be restored, so that we may live in a truly reunited Cyprus with the full rights enjoyed by all other EU citizens.

While Turkey continues violating the human rights of EU citizens and destroying the European culture of occupied Cyprus, it is unacceptable that it is allowed to proceed with EU accession negotiations.

We call on your support to put pressure on EU governments to help end the illegal occupation of Cyprus and to end Turkish apartheid in Cyprus.

The 3Rs:
1 Removal of all Turkish troops from Cyprus
2 Repatriation of all colonists
3 Return of all refugees to their homes without preconditions, restrictions or discrimination

The Cyprus Problem
Cyprus maintained that Turkey’s policy was aimed at dividing Cyprus along racial lines. Subsequently, 200,000 Greek-Cypriot swere displaced. […]
In addition, in August and September 2001, the international community had a meeting for the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance, declared its universal recognition of “the right of refugees to return voluntarily to their homes and properties in dignity and safety, and urge[d] all States to facilitate such return.”

A viable and just Cyprus settlement cannot be based on a situation of apartheid, under which Cypriots are forcibly segregated on the grounds that Muslims and Christians, people of Turkish origin and people of Greek origin, cannot live together. Such segregation not only contradicts fundamentally Turkey’s own policy of integration with the European Community, but also constitutes a recipe for suspicion, resentment and conflict.

The plan would allow settlement of Greeks in the Turkish zone, but creates an apartheid system of careful quotas of Greek resettlement to maintain a Turkish Muslim majority in the north and links the desire of Greek Cypriots to Btum to their home with Turkey accession into EU: up to 18% of the population could be Greek under the plan..
… Therefore it is no surprise either that the leaders in the Uthmani Khilafah like Sultan Abdul Hameed valued Islam,

Turkish human rights violations in Turkey and Cyprus (2007)

Ismail Cem, Turkey’s Foreign Minister recently complained that the European Union had offered Turkey only a “third class ticket” on the train of accession to the European Union. Others would say that Turkey was extremely fortunate to have even been considered for membership given its appalling tradition of human rights abuses.

For the past two hundred years, Turkey has achieved what is undoubtedly one of the worst human rights records in the world. The Turks have ethnically cleansed or otherwise mistreated ethnic minorities within Turkey and the peoples of neighbouring countries.

These include the Armenians, Bulgarians, Cypriots, Greeks, Kurds, Romanians and the Serbs. Turkey has the unenviable record of having conducted the first genocide of the 20th century when from 1915 to 1918 one and a half million indigenous Armenians were annihilated.

Lately, the Turks have turned their attention to those of their own people who have the courage to speak out against human rights abuses in Turkey.

Killings, disappearances and torture of lawyers, journalists, trade unionists, intellectuals and others remain well documented and are frighteningly commonplace in modern day Turkey.

Amnesty international recently reported that Turkey is the 5th worst country in the world for torture in jails, whilst the US State Department reports that the human rights situation in Turkey continues to deteriorate despite the promises of the Turkish government. In its annual report to Congress on human rights the Clinton administration stated that Turkish security forces committed “serious human rights abuses” during 1997.

Today, Turkey wages a dirty war against the Kurds who are fighting for recognition of their identity, and the right to express their language and culture. Almost 30,000 Kurds, government forces and civilians have been sacrificed. Three million Kurds are now refugees, and 3,000 Kurdish villages have been razed to the ground by Turkish troops.

This policy of human rights violations and ethnic cleansing is just as evident in the occupied north of Cyprus.

Turkey invaded the Republic of Cyprus in 1974 under the most spurious circumstances, causing death, rape, torture and forced displacement of persons, acts which are well documented by the European Court of Human Rights.

Turkey has created an illegal apartheid regime in the occupied area forcibly separating the Greek Cypriots from the Turkish Cypriots, violating a fundamental tenet of the European Union – the principle of free movement.

The few remaining Greek Cypriots enclaved in the occupied north are subject to continuous attack, harassment and intimidation, relying on United Nations protection and hand-outs in order to survive. They are also denied the right to secondary education, in violation of international law and the UN Charter on Human Rights.

No one can treat the hapless Mr Cem or Turkey itself with any credibility for so long as Turkey persists with her atrocious tradition of human rights violations. Sadly history teaches us that Turkey’s policy on human rights has not and is unlikely to change.

Lobby for Cyprus urges the European Union leaders not to pursue a policy of appeasement with Turkey.

New Statesman – The ‘desecration’ of Cyprus
Posted by Brian Coleman – 22 October 2007 11:34

Brian Coleman on Northern Cyprus, the treatment of Orthodox churches and why the government promotes Turkish membership of the EU

The deaths of a couple of dozen Turkish troops in operations against the Kurds and the vote by the Turkish Parliament to in effect invade Northern Iraq to pursue operations against the Kurdish people has focused world attention on a conflict which the modern state of Turkey has pursued for many decades.

Last weekend I was in Cyprus (and yes my expenses were paid by my hosts) to attend events to continue to protest about the Turkish occupation of North Cyprus in particular the beautiful town of Morphu, twinned with my home Borough of Barnet.

Whereas over the last few years the legitimate Republic of Cyprus has made huge economic strides.

On the back of EU membership it operates as a mainstream European Country. The occupied north meanwhile continues to exist in a form of Asiatic poverty with an army of occupation of about 40,000 troops.

Most of the native Cypriots (both Greek and Turkish) have long since given up and abandoned the place to settlers flown in from Anatolia.

The desecration of Orthodox churches and the wholesale stripping and sale abroad of religious icons and archaeological treasures has to be seen to be believed and the ethnic cleansing carried out in the north of this magnificent island is as bad as anything experienced in the former Yugoslavia.

Yet as the new female Cypriot Foreign Minister Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis told me in rather a forceful manner – she has a touch of the Margaret Thatcher about her – there are thousands of Britons buying property illegally confiscated from Cypriots many of whom are my constituents in North London. In fact 95% of sales in the occupied area are to Brits.

Quite why anyone would buy property they have no legal entitlement to and which, when the eventual reunion of Cyprus comes, they may well lose with no compensation at all is beyond me. However the British Government sits back and does little to prevent these sales and the environmental damage to picturesque North Cyprus which the huge building boom is causing.

This last fortnight has also shown that Britain is not alone in playing softball with Turkey; the attitude of President Bush to Congress which was discussing the Armenian genocide was bizarre.

As the Armenian ambassador explained in his excellent piece on the New Statesman website last week, nobody with any common sense denies that the Armenian Genocide of 1915 onwards took place. Yet if the Germans can admit their guilt over the Nazi Holocaust why cannot the Turks do likewise?

The plucky little democratic country of Armenia still has to contend with a blockade by Turkey not to mention the aggression of its neighbour Azerbaijan whose idea of Democracy is to pass the presidency down from father to son.

So why this desire by Britain and the US to butter up Turkey? Gone is the Cold war threat from the Soviet Union and, with the election of President Gul, the Islamists are taking over Turkey anyway. Quite how the Turks imagine they can have any place in the EU whilst maintaining their belligerence on Cyprus, Armenia and towards the Kurds is beyond me.

Exactly why does the British Government continue to promote Turkey’s EU membership? Could it by any chance be to do with Labour’s need of the Muslim vote?

Turkish racist Apartheid against Kurds

THE APARTHEID NATION OF TURKEY

The application of Kurdish politicians Aysel Tuğluk and Ahmet Trk to restore their status as members of parliament was dismissed. Both politicians were subjected to a five-year political ban after the ban of the pro-Kurdish Democratic Society Party in 2009. The Presidency of the Turkey Grand National Assembly (TBMM) rejected the applications of Kurdish politicians Ahmet Trk and Aysel Tuğluk related to restoring their status as members of parliament. Following amendments enforced after the referendum on the constitutional reform package in 2010, the Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) had applied to parliament for restoring Trk’s and Tuğluk’s status as MPs. Upon the TBMM’s rejection of the application, lawyer ײztrk Trkdoğan brought the issue before the Constitutional Court on behalf of Trk and Tuğluk. On Thursday (17 March), the High Court dismissed the request “by majority vote”.

In explanation of the phenomenon, Beşikçi makes a comparison between South Africa and Turkey: In South Africa, the Apartheid policy essentially tended to say ‘You blacks do not resemble us, you are bad, and you therefore should not join …But Turkey tells Kurds ‘you are us, You should live with us as Turks, and you must resemble us’. This racism is much more destructive than the ‘you do not resemble us, you then should live separately’ type of racism.

On that day, seven years ago, Leyla Zana and her parliamentarian colleagues were arrested and imprisoned for speaking up for Kurdish rights. They had engaged in hunger strikes, political sit-ins and demonstrations to end the Turkish version of the Apartheid. But the system did not want to change. Instead, it imprisoned them and has kept them in prison ever since.

3. Demand a UN investigation of why Turkey is funding terrorist organizations that are involved in attacks on Israel.

4. Fund a Kurdish human-rights NGO in Israel — there are lots of Kurdish Jews who I’m sure would be happy to help — that raises awareness of the plight of Kurds in Turkey. (Short answer: they are treated horribly.) This organization must publicize the apartheid conditions of Kurdish life in Turkey and churn out op-eds, studies, videos, and press releases denouncing Turkey’s brutal and racist treatment of its own minorities.

Turkey’s Anti Alevi apartheid

11/2/10

Alevi Apartheid in Turkey (Academic Research Results)

Today Vatan Daily one of the most popular newspapers of  Turkey published a summary of an academic research about Alevi Apartheid.

Maras Alevi Massacre more than 8000 Alevi civillians killed by sunnis with the help of  sunni state police and army!

Alevi?

Alevism is a religion and there are more than 25 million Alevi citizens living in Turkey. Alevis are tolerated, secularist, peaceful people. Turkey is modern because of Alevi people. The most famous Alevi is Ataturk! Alevis are living in many countries not only in Turkey. Most of the Alevis are Turk but there are also Kurdish, Zaza, Persian, Arabic Alevis.

Alevis are facing with discrimination in Turkey International media and Turkish media is still ignoring Alevis. This research results are shocking. I am not surprised because I am an Alevi and I am facing with these problems too.

Research was made by academician Aykan Erdemir and it took 18 months. Thousands of Alevi people took place in this research. Reserchers talk directly with 258 Alevi and also asked questions to 1672 Alevi online from different cities!

Turkey is managed by sunnis since 1950, now President, Prime minister, ministers are all sunni. There is not even 1 Alevi minister in the AKP government! But 35 to 40 percent of the population of Turkey is Alevi! Also there are no Alevi Governors, 81 of the 81 cities governors are all sunni too. The police force is nearly all sunni too! That means Alevis are not represented in the state and Alevis don’t have the constitutional rights although the Turkish Constitution is clearly rejecting  racism and apartheid!

In every part of the social life the doors are closed to the Alevi individuals. This is not declared openly but this rule is shaping the things as a hidden secret rule! Alevis are tolerated till they have success but if they became an academic rector or became a important high rank army officer sunnis are reacting! the researcher is a sunni but he also realize the ugly truth; if An Alevi is successful the sunni system is starting to oppress this person. You don’t have to be an adult it starts in the primary school! If you are one of the best  students in the school sunni teachers can give you some zeros without any reason! You can be the best student in that class but you are Alevi you should have low points because they don’t want successful Alevis. This is happening even in the best schools of Turkey! Also the situation is same in the universities. If you are a state worker or officer or working for a private company you will also have problems because of being Alevi!

The sunnis will always give the jobs and positions to sunnis you can be the best engineer but you will be discriminated and a sunni will take your position. But if an Alevi decide for a job he/she will give the position to the one who deserves.

Also rich Alevis are  attacked by the sunni state with every legal and illegal way. The sunni state don’t want rich Alevis sunnis are taking our lands our companies by manipulating the laws and government power!

According to research Alevi Apartheid is rising and becoming more systematical day by day and this is the most strict and aggressive apartheid in Europe!  The discrimination against Alevis is in every where state works or private works, education, employment, health, religion, during army duty. Alevi citizens are facing with different procedures  because of their secularist peaceful religion and beliefs!

The different procedures against Alevis includes, hate speech, threatening,  discrimination and even sometimes to death or torture!

Mr. Erdemir described this as  ”The doors are all closed for every level of social life   to Alevi people!” Sadly he is right our struggle starts since child hood of course some Alevi babies are not lucky enough to survive during the sunni attacks. Many Alevi babies were massacred during Alevi Massacres by sunni civilians even some Alevi babies were tortured with their parents by sunni police!

The discrimination against Alevis includes apartments, cemeteries, accommodation sites and streets! In Turkey people are hiding their identities not to be targeted by sunnis! But that doesn’t work for Alevis as hiding himself/herself is very hard mostly impossible for an Alevi. Alevis don’t fast, don’t pray namaz or go to mosque on friday, Alevis are very liberal Alevi women don’t wear Turban or Burka or Niqap! Also the roots of Alevis are more clear due to the ottoman persecutions and Alevi Genocides! Alevi people lived as tribes to protect themselves so Alevi citizens are easy to track from their hometown or home villages.

The media is also controlled by sunnis. Alevis are good at science, art, literature, music most of the positive figures of Turkish history are Alevi people like Ataturk, Rumi, Asık Veysel, Yunus Emre. But no way if you are an Alevi you can not be a journalist, columnist and you can not write about Alevism in a newspaper. The media will only told what the sunni state want to be told about Alevis! Alevis are the owners of Turkish music and literature but there is not even 1 Alevi columnist in the Hurriyet Daily. You are an Alevi   the more you make your job better the more sunnis will hate you! Things are different in Turkey!

The sunni state is building mosques in Alevi villages or Towns! Alevis pray in Cemevi (Alevi Worship House) so building a mosque to Alevi villages is just to make them uncomfortable! The sunni state is sometimes building 2 mosques in the same Alevi village but there are no sunnis living there! Also sunni state is  putting sound systems to play sunni ezan in the Alevi villages which don’t have mosques!  And sunnis made Genocides to Alevis so quess how Alevis are feeling it is like building a nazi center in a Jewish town and playing the nazi songs 5 times a day!

The sunni state is oppressing Alevi villages by governors or by government officers.  Sunni state is not serving Alevi villages water lines, schools, roads, health facilities are just  other ways to oppress Alevis more. The sunni state is not building the roads or water lines or just building it cheaply and when it needs fixing state never fixes it. The sunni state don’t want Alevis to be happy.

Hace Bektas is a Dai (Alevi Leader) who is very important for Alevis.  He is a philosopher who  used to write the basics of the Declaration of Human Rights  centuries ago which is still a part of our religion. His town is holly for Alevis. The AKP government shoot down the electricity of the water pumps in this town! Hacıbektaş Town can not pay the electricity bill because the municipality is nearly having no money from the government. Every year millions of people are visiting this town and paying to the government  for the tickets to enter the Hacıbektaş Cemevi! Alevis have to pay to enter their house and this money is not even used for Alevis!

More than 20 years there is no crime in Hacıbektaş town although sometimes more than  half million people are sleeping in the streets during the festival.  So the jail is closed since 1995! And sunni state is punishing this town can you believe that!   What kind of a state do that!  Crime is very low in the Alevi community because of the Alevi lifestyle!

Also the researchers asked to Alevis to compare their situation with 5 years ago, most of them told that the apartheid is becoming more and more strict and the situation is really awful for Alevis. (No need to make a research everyone knows that Alevis are oppressed more day by day in Turkey)

Also Diyanet (the religion ministry) is using billions of dollars just for sunni religion. The budget of Diyanet minister is more than 8 of other ministers! Alevis give tax but take nothing except torture, assassinations, mass murders, insults…

9 of the every 10 Alevis told that there is religion discrimination against Alevis and religion based discrimination is very common in Turkey
3 of the every 4 Alevi told that he/she was discriminated more than once in a year.

Alevis are also telling that they are facing with gender discrimination, discrimination for being handicapped, for their sexual preferences,  for their ethnicity, for their age,

4 of the every 5 Alevi told that plural discrimination is very common in Turkey which means discrimination is done by groups and in public.

9 of the every 10 Alevis told that they witnessed discrimination of other Alevis in the last 1 year.

Alevis also told that they don’t care about the ethnicity or the life style or the religion of their neighbors and don’t feel disturbed from being neighbors with them.  Roman, Christian, Jewish , Handicapped, homosexual neighbors or   neighbors from different ethnicity is okay for Alevis. ( there were several researches which pointed that half of the citizens in  Turkey don’t want to have Christian or Jewish (non-Muslim)  neighbors. ) The sunni and Alevi citizens are different like back and white.

Also according to research the percentage of  Alevis who have friends from other ethnicities or other religions (non-muslim) or  homosexual friends or Roman friends is very above the Turkey’s general percentage.  That is because of Alevism if you just search Alevism you will see that it is impossible for an Alevi to make discrimination against  other people.

Also between 2002 and 2007 anti-Alevist islamo-fascist AKP government built 3555 sunni mosques! But there were only 179 Alevi Cemevis (Churchs) at the time! Now there are 85,000 mosques in Turkey a mosque for every 210 sunni!   European Union and USA is just ignoring this fascism 25 million Alevi is living in a nazi camp!

Erdogan is telling that he is proud of ”Ebu Suud” who ordered and committed  genocide to Alevis during his rallies!

I can confirm all of these and more so Alevis don’t want to live with sunnis…

How radical Islam makes one: a bigot religiously – a racist ethnically

June 15, 2010

How radical Islam makes one: a bigot religiously – a racist ethnically

UNIQUENESS OF ISLAM'S INTOLERANCE

While Christianity, ever since the termination of the Crusades and the Spanish inquisitions has no plans to "convert by force" anybody else, nor is ever Buddhism or Judaism, Islam –on the other hand– even modern day Islam, is about to Islamize the world, with any means possible.
When (thank God) not "yet" accomplished, the Islamists bigotry has a few levels, the "people of the book" a.k.a. Christians & Jews are "allowed" to stay as an inferior class [Dhimmis], the other non-Muslims are "totally" Kuffars (Kaffirs) and have no 'validity' at all under Islam.
Radical Islam has a force of bigotry on its own, without "conventional" racism, however, as this "anti the others" and "the others should submit to us-Islam" theme, ideology grow, so do all intolerance faces.

(Contrary to propagandists, anti terror operations by the west such as the US, UK & others have nothing to do with “Christian fundamentalism” (not even under George W. Bush) as some would like to suggest, but about safety.
Reminder, the only side in the M.E. conflict that uses religion for violence is the Arab-Islamic side the routine slogan is: 'Allah u Akbar' and "Khaybar", the Israeli side which is by in large secular, especially its army, is motivated by one and only goal, security from genocidal homicidal attacks.)

ISLAMIC BIGOTRY AND ETHNIC RACISM

Islamic bigotry has been more noticeably, primarily against non-Muslims, on "religious" ground solely, however, as a contentious movement of radical Islam that it is, instilling the "belief" in its followers that they're the "true Muslims," (and everybody else shall go to he-ll – literally), it gives way to, and "helps" in sharpening ethnic and racial differences, the victim, other ethnic group, can be non-Muslim or even Muslim.

The justification of racial violence is often covered by Islamic rationalization.
(for example, the preference of 'white' over 'black' as supported by Islamic verses. According to the literal Arabic translation of Sura 3:106, 107, “on Judgment Day, only people with white faces will be saved. People with black faces will be damned. Allah resembles an Arab.” –ibn Sa’d, vol.1, p.2.
“Prophet is to be of Quraysh stock and of white complexion.” ibn Sa’d, vol.1, p.95-96, Sahih Muslim, 20.4483. “The Prophet said, ‘Let the negro slave of Dinar perish. And if he is pierced with a thorn, let him not find anyone to take it out for him…. If he [the black slave] asks for anything it shall not be granted, and if he needs intercession [to get into paradise], his intercession will be denied.’”Bukhari:V4B52N137 .
Abul Kasem elaborated in an article titled ‘Allah’s White Faces,’ and Dr. Azuma’s book ‘The Legacy of Arab-Islam in Africa’ sheds some light on support Arabs find in Islam to dominate blacks, he provides several examples of Islam’s hatred of Blacks. There is the example in the hadith in which an Ethiopian woman laments her racial inferiority to Muhammad, who consoles her by saying, “In Paradise, the whiteness of the Ethiopian will be seen over the stretch of a thousand years.”
Another hadith quotes Muhammad thus: “Do not bring black into your pedigree.” In fact, the Arabic word for slave, “Abd,” became equated with Africans and Blacks with the advent of Islam. Which is why, when an Arab looks at a black African, what he sees is a slave.”all this can help to understand how Arab-Muslims feel “OK” to dehumanize blacks or at least consider them no more than “abid” and “zorka.” The icon of radical Islam – Osama Bin Laden, in a discussion with the Sudanese-American novelist, Kola Boof, in Morocco in 1996 said, “when next you meet an Arab, you should ask what is the Arabic word for slave, you’ll discover that the words are the same “abeed.”

Or anti-Jewish racism by Arabs, is backed by preferring to select those verses from the Quran where Jews have "sinned," [For instance, that dreadful militant Islamic concept of apes & pigs –Christians are pigs, Jews are apes– is being used repeatedly in Arab Palestinian, Hezbollah & S. Arabian media and in religious, educational institutions as part of demonization & fascist-dehumanization of the Jewish people] as oppose to the sources that praise the Jews [Banu Israil] and linking the land Israel to them).

Radical Islam makes/motivates you to be a ["better"] racist.

See some examples of how the religious bigotry is embedded into the ethnic racism, how it enhances it or even at fault for creating the ‘racism’ in the first place.

Turkey, Ottoman Empire: anti-Assyrian, anti-Greek, anti-Armenian

Victims of Islamic Turks in numbers: 700,000 Assyrians, 1.4 Million Greeks, 1.5 Million Armenians.
Genocide of Assyrians and Armenians in Ottoman Empire Within the First World War in the territory of Ottoman Turkey where were living about 1 million Assyrians with common language, culture and national traditions, had been organized mass destruction of Christian peoples. Together with 1,5 million Armenians have been brutally killed and tortured from 500 to 750 thousand Assyrians.
Ottoman Assyrians fled to Russia, Iran, Aleppo and Jerusalem in wake of the genocide. in the era between 1915-1919: 700000 Assyrians (including the "Forgotten Tragedy in Helwa" the massacre of the Assyrians by the Kurds in the year 1915 (Sayfo) and the massacres of Assyrians in Iran and Turkey) perished.

Greek Genocide 1914-23. During the years 1914-1923, whilst the attention of the international community focused on the turmoil and aftermath of the First World War, the indigenous Greek minority of the Ottoman Empire, the Republic of Turkey's predecessor, was subjected to a centrally-organized, premeditated and systematic policy of annihilation. This genocide, orchestrated to ensure an irreversible end to the collective existence of Turkey 's Greek populace, was perpetrated by two consecutive governments; the Committee for Union and Progress, later better known as the Young Turks, and the nationalist Kemalists led by Mustafa Kemal 'Ataturk'. A lethal combination of labor brigades, internal deportations and massacres conducted throughout Anatolian Turkey resulted in the death of 1,400,000 Greeks.
The 1915 Armenian genocide was lead by Islamic banner of "Allah Akbar" calls, but came into ethnic hatred as well, the mass ethnic cleansing (of the Armenians as well as of the Greeks) was reported by the British at that time.
It still lingers on with stubborn Islamic Turkey's objection to define the massacre of 1.5 Christian Armenians as genocide, and threatens with severing relation whoever disobeys its "view." (as a result of the goverment’s led atmosphere, a prominent Turkish journalist of Armenian heritage Hrant Dink was murdered).
Some of the expression of this hatred is still resulted –among other– in divided Cypress, today, a major issue in Europeans' demands of a 'change in Turkey' if they're to join the E. U.

Sunni: anti-Shiite

The immense hatred and mass violence which Sunni icons like (Iraqi) Saddam Hussein and (Jordanian) al-Zarqawi have been manifesting against the Iraqi Shiites, which is a different Islamic sect as well as (usually in Iraq) a separate ethnic group.
As the judge began reading the death sentence (for massacring ethnic Shiites and ethnic Kurds) Saddam Hussein shouted out “Allahu Akbar!”
The same goes to Saddam Hussein's war on Iran, the hated Persians, one of the three Allah should not have made according to Baathi racism, his infamous uncle's (“Three whom God should not have created: Persians, Jews and flies, by Khairallah Tulfah”) statement published in official Iraqi media – was an expression of deep Arab racism against Persians.
Saddam tied himself to Sa’ad ibn Abi Waqas, an early Arab warrior who brought Islam to Iran.

Iraq: Anti-Assyrian

The ancient Christian Assyrians have been suffering from the Arabs, like the Simele massacre (by Islamic Arab and Kurds), and continued on (at least) until the end of the reign of Saddam, they also fell victim in the anti-Kurd chemical attack in 1982.

Iraq: Anti-Kurd

Saddam Hussein motivated his people in the anti- Kurd campaign by Islamic themes.

Iran: anti-Arab & other supremacy

Islamic Iran oppresses its entire population, yet, reserves a “special” persecution to all minorities including: Ethnic minorities such as Azeris, Arabs, Kurds, Turkomans and Baluchis.

The notion that "we are the true Muslims" has much to do with the lap over ethnic hatred of other Muslims like the Arabs, manifested itself in the Iran-Iraq war. Iran currently very much after its Arab (Ahwazi) minority, many facing executions.

The fascist leader of the WW 2 era: Reza Shah Pahlavi, was referred to as "the Mussolini of Islam."
His fascist, racist legacy (embedded into a mythology of Persian – "Aryans") are cherished by many Islamic Iranians today.

Lebanon, Palestinians: anti-Maronite

The Christian Maronite, a non-Arab ethnic group, (considered to be the –pre-Arab invasion– indigenous Lebanese), fell victims to Muslims, especially in the 1970. Since 1975, about 150,000 Christians were killed, entire Christian villages were erased and their populations were ethnically cleansed. A highlighted massacre is the one in Damour in 1976, by the Palestinian Arabs (Arafat's PLO) with local & other Muslims, carried out with calls of "Allahu Akbar" and "Let us offer a Holocaust to Muhammad."

[New York Times editor Tom Friedman, in his famous book From Beirut to Jerusalem, explains the motives of the Phalangists killing Palestinian-Arabs in Sabra Shatila 1982: "The Phalangists wanted to avenge not only Bashir’s death, but also past tribal killings of their own people by Palestinian guerrillas, such as the February 1976 massacre by Palestinians of Christian villagers in Damour."]

Pakistan: (Indian) Bangladeshis, Kashmirs

Bangladesh.
The Pakistani Islamic genocide in Bangladesh 1971 resulted in three Million victims.
In 1971, Bangladesh, then called East Pakistan, was part of a geographical monstrosity created by the British in 1947. Pakistan, as created by the British, consisted of West Pakistan and East Pakistan, separated by the vast expanse of the Indian land mass in the middle. East and West Pakistan spoke different languages and were culturally distinct. East Pakistan accounted for the majority of Pakistan's population, yet it was economically exploited and politically marginalized by West Pakistan.
Bengalis, the people of East Pakistan, were also persecuted for speaking their native language and for being either Muslims who had converted from Hinduism or for being Hindus. Pakistan, translated as 'The Land of the Pure', was intolerant of Bengalis because they were not 'pure' Muslims.

Kashmir.
An estimated 400,000 Kashmiri original people, constituting 99% of the total population of Hindus living in Muslim majority area of the Kashmir Valley, were forcibly pushed out of the Valley by Muslim terrorists, trained in Pakistan, since the end of 1989. They have been forced to live the life of exiles in their own country, outside their homeland, by unleashing a systematic campaign of terror, murder, loot and arson. Islamists succeeded in 'cleansing' the valley of this ancient ethno-religious community. This community with a history of thousands of years, is fighting a grim battle to save itself from becoming extinct as a distinct race and culture.

Indonesia: anti-Chinese

The Chinese minority in Indonesia have periodically been targets of mob violence. Some 100,000 Chinese were expelled from the country in 1959, while thousands of Chinese were attacked and many killed during the 1965–1966 bloodbath that followed the fall of President Sukarno. Many Chinese were accused of being Communists and with maintaining secret ties to the mainland. Anti-Chinese rioting also occurred in 1973 and 1980.
Under Suharto, Chinese were also forbidden from careers in state-sponsored academia, serving in the military, and the civil service. They were forced to carry identity cards and the use of Chinese characters and celebrations, were banned.
During the violent upheavals that lead to Suharto's downfall in May 1998, some 1,200 Chinese were believed killed. Thousands of businesses were looted, prompting tens of thousands of Chinese fled overseas. In addition, billions of dollars was transferred out of the country.
Rioting and skirmishes have increased in 1998, some of them the expression of a general, ill-defined desire for "reformasi" directed at the government and the country's worsening poverty. But in a number of troubled regions around the archipelago, the violence has focused on long-simmering ethnic animosities and religious bigotry. (source: Pearson education 2007 – mostly).

East Timor
One of the notorious Islamic Indonesian crimes on Chinese was in E. Timor, it was very bloody and shocking in brutality, including mass rape, massacres.

Maluku Islands
In 2000, the Maluku [Malucca, the Mollucas] Islands' Christians & Chinese saw horrific massacres and mass rape by Muslims. There are gruesome tales of raping Chinese girls by the Islamic "Lashkar Jihad" (Jihad Army, founded in April 2000).
1,700 people were murdered in just one year alone (2000).

Attackers left a sign: “Long live Moslems ! Islam is Supreme ! Get rid of the
Chinese!” (Translated from the writings on the temple
gate, January, 1997. by Fica.org)

From: Agenda: a journal of policy analysis and reform, Volume 10 by Australian National University. Faculty of Economics and Commerce, p. 16: "misuse the concept of jihad to justify the use of violence against Christians and ethnic Chinese citizens."

China: anti-Han Chinese

Ethnic – There have been outbreak of violence in years between Muslim separatists and Han Chinese in W. China. July 2009 had a peak of a spasm of attacks by Muslim Uighurs separatists against Han Chinese, the ethnic majority which resulted in 140 dead.
Religious – The Chinese government also accuses these Muslims of plotting terror attacks (including on the 2008 Olympic games).

Egypt: Anti-Copts

Today's Egyptians, are by in large Arabs, not authentic Egyptians, the indigenous are the Christian Copts who have been through persecution ever since the Muslim brotherhood rose in that country.
It grew under Nasser, as well as under Saadat the more these Egyptian leaders gave the Islamists' a hold.

Nigeria: anti-Christian Tarok

Nigeria has seen bloodshed between Muslims & Christians, the Violence between Muslim-ethnic Hausa and the Christian ethnic-Tarok fighters reached a peak in 2005, it carries a 'religious' theme too.
At the eruption of March 2010 violence where 500 have been killed, the NYTimes called it: "Religious and Ethnic Violence." Compass Direct News reported of Muslims killing Christians while singing 'Allah Akbar.'

Arabs in Africa: anti-Africans

Slavery by Arabs (Arab master race) in Africa has been officially limited, still there are reports of continuing of this practice, especially in Sudan, Mauritania.
Current Arab anti-black genocide, mass rape by al-Bashir government and his allied Janjaweeds (described as an Arab supremacist) is stemming from Libya's Muammar Gadhafi’s bloody legacy in Chad, Sudan in the 1970’s to convert the African region into a pan Arab-Islamic state, in 1981 Libyan supported Sudanese group al-Tajammu' al-‘Arabi, the "Arab alliance,"  openly injected racism.
Both culprit; Gadhafi & al-Bashir have been pushing for an Islamic rule.
In Mauritania, indigenous decry racism and suffering from the oppressive Arab rulers.
Al-Bashir and his Arab-supremacist gangs have been committing atrocities, genocide 1983-2009, Al-Bashir has seen moral support by the Arab league and by the "religious" Islamic Iran & Hezbollah.
Douglas Farah wrote: “There are two places where the Muslim Brotherhood exercises governmental power: Sudan and the Palestinian territories.”

Gulf Arabs: anti-Asians

The ecstasy that the tycoons, filthy-oil-rich of the Arab gulf in feeling of leading an 'Islamic empire,' gives them more than just a sense of pride, it brings out the ugly Arab supremacy, so prevalent, especially in that region.
The enslavement and miss treatment of Asians (mainly Indians, Pakistanis and Malaysians) is very wide, the mistreatment includes Asian maids and construction slave-labors.

Arab world: anti-Jewish

The founder of the 'middle east conflict' (which is basically anti-Jewish bigotry by Arab-Muslims), was that infamous Arab-Muslim leader, the Mufti (Haj Amin al-Husseini), who incited the Arab Muslim population since the 1920’s. Highlighted is the 1929 massacre in Hebron, with calls "Kill the Jews wherever you find them, this pleases Allah,"  and met with Hitler in 1941, thus, the anti-Jewish hatred – anti-Israel campaign has since been, both: racial & religious, by Arab Muslims.
In fact, Arab racism against Jews, is boosted by Islamic interpertations. It all “fits in place” as the vile dehumanizing anti-Semitic cartoons flow the Arab press, some almost copied from the Nazi Stumer.

Bosnians: Anti-Christian Serbs

That Mufti, also led in 1943 a Nazi Arab-Muslim SS division to commit crimes against Christians & Jews in Yugoslavia.
The Bosnian Muslim Nazis had a great "opportunity" to give their historic ethnic hatred outlet under the Islamic leader.

Arab & black Muslims: Anti-white

Louis Farrakhan's Nation of Islam is infamous for being anti white and anti-Jewish.
You can almost say it with certainty that there's more anti-white racism among blacks that are Muslims.
The french based Islamic-black "Tribu-ka" has been known for anti-Jewish racism.
Many Arabs have expressed anti white racism, like the mass rape, targeting white Christian girls by Arab Lebanese Muslims (in 2002), it has been revealed their Islamic and racial motivation.
Top Australian Islamic cleric, the mufti al-Hilali (who also said that the September 11 attack is Allah’s work against the oppressor, insulted women, defended gang rapists and claiming Muslims had more right to live in Australia than the Anglo-Saxsons) spoke out in January, 2007 against the "English race."  quote "The Western people are the biggest liars and oppressors and especially the English race."
In March 2005, (Muslim) black and Arabs attacked white, French demonstrators with sentiment of a desire to "take revenge on whites."

It give a whole refreshed meaning of Islamic-fascism (Islamofascism).
