92 arrested in northern Nigeria after recent religious violence By the CNN Wire Staff

January 1, 2011 — Updated 0730 GMT (1530 HKT)

Jos, Nigeria (CNN) — Nigerian authorities on Friday arrested 92 people allegedly affiliated with a militant Islamist group that the government says is responsible for a string of recent killings in the country’s northeast.

Police blame the group, Boko Haram, for attacks Wednesday that left three police officers and one civilian dead in Maiduguru and for Christmas Eve attacks on two Christian churches in the city that left five dead.

Borno state Police Commissioner Mohammed Abubakar said those arrested were “members of a dangerous religious fundamentalist group… (that) is anti-government.”

Maiduguru is the capital of Nigeria’s Borno state.

According to IHS Jane’s, a defense and security analysis company, Boko Haram is a Sunni militant group that emerged in 2003 and is fighting for the implementation of strict Islamic law in Nigeria.

Nigeria has been rocked by recent religious violence, with the government blaming it most of the recent attacks on Islamist extremists.

Christmas Eve attacks in the volatile city of Jos claimed at least 31 lives, but the Nigerian government has said it is unclear who is responsible. On Friday, there was a mass burial for 16 of the victims.

“The perpetrators of this act are criminals under the guise of religion,” said Benjamin Kwashi, the Anglican archbishop of Jos, at a memorial service.

Three men were arrested with bombs in their possession in the vicinity of Jos on Christmas Day, authorities said

The Jos region lies on a faith-based fault line between Muslim-dominated northern Nigeria and the mainly Christian south.

At least four people were killed and another 13 wounded Friday in a bomb blast at an army barracks in Abuja, the deputy police commissioner said.

Christmas Eve Attacks in Nigeria Kill at Least 38
VOA News 25 December 2010

A series of Christmas Eve explosions and attacks in Nigeria, several of them at churches, have killed at least 38 people.

The worst attacks, possibly with dynamite, occurred in the central city of Jos. Police on Saturday said at least 32 people were killed and 74 wounded. There were seven explosions in two separate areas. Many of the victims were Christmas shoppers.

Jos is located in Nigeria’s Middle Belt, a region in Africa’s most populous nation where the mostly Muslim north meets the predominantly Christian south. Religious and ethnic clashes have occurred frequently in the region.

In the northern city of Maiduguri, authorities say suspected members of the Islamist sect Boko Haram threw gasoline bombs at three churches, killing six people and leaving one of the churches burned to the ground. Among the dead was a Baptist pastor, whose house also was destroyed.

Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan condemned the attacks. He said those responsible would be arrested to stand trial.

Members of the Boko Haram sect have been blamed for a series of attacks in recent months on police and community leaders.

The governor of Borno state, Ali Sheriff, described the assaults as a “worrisome situation” and said officials must ensure adequate safety for worshippers.

Nigeria’s 140 million people are divided roughly evenly between Christians and Muslims.

The tensions in the Middle Belt have been stoked by ethnic divisions as different groups vie for control of fertile farmlands and political power. Local rights groups say about 1,500 people have been killed in the region this year.

Extremist bombs and fireworks accidents mar New Year around the world‎

The world entered 2011 in high style from Friday into Saturday with parties across the globe, but terrorism and violence – and in some cases bad weather – marred some celebrations.

[…]

In nations where Muslim-Christian friction is common, Islamic extremists bombed crowds marking the New Year, which is determined by the Christian calendar. The Islamic new year began on December 7.

The worst violence was in Nigeria, where bomb blasts in the capital Abuja left about 30 dead, local media said.

Witnesses spoke of 20 dead, some women and children, when a bomb exploded at a crowded marketplace in a military cantonment where members of the armed forces and their families live.

It was not clear who was behind the blast. Christmas Eve attacks on churches in the central Nigerian town of Jos left at least 80 people dead. Members of the Islamist sect Boko Haram have been blamed in the earlier attacks.

The Punch newspaper cited an anti-terrorism expert on Saturday saying that a connection with the al-Qaida network could not be ruled out in the Abuja attack.

Another bomb exploded late Friday outside a church where worshippers were celebrating New Year’s Eve, the newspaper Vanguard reported.

Over the past year, repeated clashes between Muslims and Christians in Nigeria – who each make up about half the population – have claimed hundreds of lives.

Politicians have warned of attempts to destabilize the country ahead of presidential elections due in April.

At least 22 people were killed and 43 injured when a suicide bomber set off a blast outside a church in the northern Egyptian city of Alexandria. Coptic Christians were at the church for a New Year’s Eve mass when the bomb exploded around 20 minutes after midnight.

Egypt’s interior ministry said the bomber was one of the dead and blamed “foreign elements.”

A bomb killed two policemen and wounded four other officers in Thailand’s majority-Muslim Deep South where separatists had vowed to disrupt the New Year festivities.

In other parts of the world, the main danger was from carelessly ignited fireworks or guns fired in celebration.

In rowdy celebrations in the Philippines, three people were killed by stray bullets while watching fireworks. A teenager was stabbed to death in an argument with a drunken man about firecrackers. Some 287 others were injured in other incidents, police said.

In Crispano in southern Italy, a 39-year-old man died instantly when a stray gunshot hit him as he stood on a balcony during celebrations. Reports said at least 70 people were hurt by fireworks in the Naples area alone.

Coptic church bombing in Egypt is latest assault on Mideast Christians

By Borzou Daragahi and Amro Hassan, Los Angeles Times

January 1, 2011, 3:39 p.m.

The New Year’s blast kills 21 and sparks clashes between police and Copts. Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak accuses foreign elements of involvement in the terrorist attack, which drew condemnation across the Middle East.

Reporting from Beirut and Cairo — A devastating New Year’s Day terrorist bombing at a Coptic church in Egypt that killed 21 people was the latest in a spate of violent assaults against the Middle East’s vulnerable Christian communities.

The car bomb explosion also injured 79 people just after midnight Saturday as worshipers were leaving a New Year’s Mass at the Saints Church in east Alexandria, Egyptian officials said. The bombing sparked street clashes between police and angry Copts, who hurled stones, stormed a nearby mosque and threw some of its books into the street.

Security forces cordoned off the area and used tear gas to disperse the crowd. A witness told the state-run newspaper Al Ahram that a priest calmed the Copts and urged them to stay inside the church.

The attack was among the deadliest on Egyptian Christians in recent memory and the worst terrorist incident in the country since 2006, and followed similar assaults this week in Iraq.

All but eight of the injured and all of the fatalities in Alexandria were Christians, according to Egypt’s Ministry of Health. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, which was being described as a suicide bombing. The explosion, which appeared designed to inflict maximum civilian casualties, bore the hallmark of Al Qaeda militants.

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak accused unnamed foreign elements of being behind the attack.

“This act of terrorism shook the country’s conscience, shocked our feelings and hurt the hearts of Muslim and Coptic Egyptians,” he said in an emergency address to the nation. “The blood of their martyrs in the land of Alexandria mixed to tell us all that all Egypt is the target and that blind terrorism does not differentiate between a Copt and a Muslim.”

The attack in the ancient Mediterranean coastal city was the latest in a wave of violence against once-resilient Christian communities in the Muslim world, some of which date back to antiquity.

Christmas Eve assaults by Muslim extremists killed dozens of Christians in the Nigerian cities of Jos and Maiduguri. And Iraq’s Christians have endured a relentless campaign of attacks and intimidation by the local branch of Al Qaeda.

An Oct. 31 siege on a Baghdad church that killed at least 58 parishioners and staff members sparked a new Christian exodus from the Iraqi capital and the northern city of Mosul. About 1,000 families sought refuge in Iraq’s semiautonomous Kurdish enclave afterward, according to the United Nations. Further threats of violence by Islamic militants caused many Christians in Iraq to tone down Christmas celebrations, and attacks Thursday against 10 Christian targets left an elderly couple dead.

Officials across the Middle East, including the ultraconservative Muslim governments.., condemned Saturday’s attack, which was widely covered in television news broadcasts. In an annual New Year’s speech at the Vatican, Pope Benedict XVI urged the faithful to stave off despair over such violence, but also demanded that governments do more to protect religious minorities.

“In front of the current threatening tensions, in front of especially the discrimination tyranny and religious intolerance, that today hit in particular the Christians, once again I deliver the pressing invite to not cave in to the depression and resignation,” Benedict said, adding that officials’ “words are not enough” in confronting religious intolerance.

“There must be a concrete and constant effort from leaders of nations,” he said.

The Alexandria bombing transformed a joyous New Year celebration into a grim reminder of the country’s religious strife. A witness told Al Ahram that the massive explosion rocked the church.

“It was about 15 minutes after midnight when we heard the sound of the explosion. We came out of the church to find two cars on fire,” said Sami Saad, who was in the church when the bomb exploded. “Everyone was frightened and people were screaming after we saw scattered parts of the dead bodies mixing with blood on the ground.”

Making up about 10% of the country’s population, Copts are Egypt’s largest religious minority group and the largest Christian community in the Middle East. Religious violence between Muslims and Copts has increased in recent years, often triggered by interfaith marriages or conversions, especially in southern Egypt, where Copts live in larger communities.

Copts have also grown angry about the obstacles to building churches, when the authorization process is easy for construction of mosques.

Riots have frequently broken out. Two people died in November clashes in Cairo between Coptic demonstrators and police after local authorities refused to allow a community center to be turned into a church.

The violence lately has taken an ominous turn. In November, the militant group Al Qaeda in Iraq announced that Coptic churches in Egypt would be targeted until two priests’ wives who were allegedly locked up in Coptic monasteries after converting to Islam are freed. Al Qaeda militants in Iraq have also referred to the women in justifying attacks on once-vibrant Christian communities in Baghdad and around Mosul.

Most Middle Eastern countries outside the Arabian Peninsula have sizable Christian communities, including the Maronites in Lebanon, Armenians in Iran and the Orthodox in Syria. But their numbers have shrunk over the last century, experts say. Christians now account for less than 5% of the Middle East’s population, down from 20%.

Authorities worry that Christian communities in relatively safe countries, such as Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Iran, also are shrinking, though driven more by a search for economic opportunities that by fear of violence. They tend to be better educated and more Western-oriented than their Muslim compatriots and often utilize family or religious ties abroad to emigrate.

PHILIPPINES Jolo: Muslim leaders slam Christmas attack
[12/27/2010 14:39]

In a statement released to the press, representatives of the Philippines’ ulama urge all Muslims to fight Muslim extremists who use Islam in their own interests. The Christian Community in Jolo (Mindanao) was attacked during Mass at the Sacred Heart Chapel. Eleven people were wounded. Abu Sayyaf and Jemaah Islamiyah are the main suspects.

Zamboanga (AsiaNews) – A group of Filipino ulama have condemned the attack by Muslim extremists against the Chapel of the Sacred Heart in Jolo (Sulu) on Saturday. They urge the authorities to move “heaven and earth” to bring the culprits to justice.

A bomb exploded at 7.15 am during Christmas Mass. The blast blew out the chapel’s roof and wounded 11 people.

No one has yet claim responsibility for the attack, and the authorities are still trying to identify who might be behind it.

Various Islamist groups operate in Sulu Province, including Abu Sayyaf, which is suspected to be connected to al Qaeda and Indonesia-based Jemaah Islamiyah.

In his Sunday address, Benedict XVI mentioned the blood shed in the Philippines on Christmas.

In a press release also issued yesterday, members of the National Ulama Conference of the Philippines slammed the attack. The “many kidnapping incidents in different parts of Mindanao are barbaric acts of violence, cruelty, and disrespect and must be condemned,” their statement said.

“If it is true, then let it be known to all that the “brand of Islam” being espoused by the so-called ‘Jama’a Islamia’ and its international and local accomplices has no place in the purity of Islamic teachings. Theirs is to advance their personal political agenda using Islam to get support from innocent and desperate people.”

“We challenge peace-loving Muslims to stand up against those who use Islam for their self-serving interest. And we call on other faith communities to help us Muslims to face squarely these forces of evil not to triumph; as the saying goes, ‘The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing’.”

Predominantly Muslim Mindanao has been the scene for the past 40 years of open warfare between the Filipino armed forces and extremist Islamic groups like the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and Abu Sayyaf.

Jolo’s Christian community has been the object of many attacks. The worst occurred on 7 July 2009 when a bomb exploded inside the cathedral, killing six and wounding 40.

The United States on Friday, the New Year’s eve condemned the latest violence against Christians and asked Baghdad to increase efforts to give better coverage to Christians.

Iraq’s interior ministry said in a statement 15 bombs were placed around homes in Christian areas of Baghdad. Eleven of the bombs exploded, according to reports.

“We call on the Government of Iraq to redouble its efforts to protect Christians and apprehend the terrorists who are behind these acts,” said Mark C. Toner, Acting State Department Spokesman, adding, “We condemn the violence against Christians carried out overnight by terrorists in Iraq.”

Iraqi reports noted that a couple that was killed had found a bag at their gate which blew up when they opened it.

“President Talabani, Prime Minister Maliki, and virtually every political bloc and major religious leader in Iraq have denounced attacks on Christians and stressed the centrality of Christians in the fabric of Iraqi society,” Toner said in a statement.

“We commend the Government of Iraq for increasing its security measures to protect Christian communities since the October 31 suicide bombing attack at … Church,” urged Toner in his statement.

Earlier, the president of the European Parliament, the legislature of 27 member state European Union, Jerzy Buzek called upon the Iraqi government to make sure Christians in Iraq enjoy the same protection and status as Shiites and Sunnis.

“The European Parliament is very concerned about these developments and is a strong defender of human rights, including freedom of religion” President Buzek said in a statement.

“We monitor the situation closely and have adopted a number of resolutions to try to draw international attention to the plight of Christian minorities,” Buzek added.

Egypt Bombing Raises Fears of Growing Sectarian Bloodshed
By Abigail Hauslohner / Cairo Saturday, Jan. 01, 2011

It had all the hallmarks of an al-Qaeda attack. Shortly after midnight, an explosion detonated by what authorities say was likely a suicide bomber ripped through a crowd of worshippers as they emerged from New Year’s mass at a church in Egypt’s northern port city of Alexandria. The blast left 21 people dead and 79 others wounded, while opening a fresh, seething wound in Egypt’s already problematic sectarian rift.

For months, al-Qaeda militants in Iraq have called repeatedly for attacks on Christians — in retaliation, they say, for the alleged kidnapping and detention by Egypt’s Coptic church of two Christian women who are believed to have converted to Islam. And on New Year’s Day, Egyptian officials painted the bombing as a brutal, foreign assault (though they have not directly accused al Qaeda; Egypt has typically been wary of making such an explicit link to attacks for fear of scaring off tourists). President Hosni Mubarak stressed in a televised speech that the terrorists had targeted both Christians and Muslims. And one of Egypt’s highest religious authorities, the office of the Grand Mufti, issued a statement declaring that “Islam and Muslims are innocent … Such an act could not come from a Muslim who knows the truth of Islam.” More likely, the Mufti concluded, was “the involvement of foreign parties that want to strike at national unity.”
(See TIME’s photos of Egypt’s outlawed Muslim Brotherhood.)

So far, however, there’s little evidence for that. And skeptical analysts say the claims are all typical rhetoric for a regime whose officials have used foreign intervention as a scapegoat for violent incidents ranging from terrorist bombings and rocket attacks to maulings by sharks.

While many analysts believe the attack was at least inspired by outsiders, the government’s real fear, they say, is that it was homegrown in its design. For the authorities, who waged a crushing campaign against violent Islamist extremism in the 1990s, and who last week had Egyptian churches on high alert, it would be a huge admission of failure. But more troubling still, it would shine a spotlight on a troubling reality that the state has been at pains to sweep under the rug: Egypt’s worsening sectarian tensions. “The official rhetoric is always that problems don’t exist,” says Hisham Kassem, an independent newspaper publisher and social critic. “There are issues of discrimination against Copts, and they’re refusing to deal with them.”
(See TIME’s most unforgettable images of 2010.)

Christians make up about 10% of Egypt’s 80 million people. But observers from both communities say sectarianism has been on the rise for years as a result of both deepening religiosity and competition for resources amid worsening economic conditions. Copts have long complained of government discrimination and neglect, while Muslims have accused the Coptic community, which is subject to slightly different rules and regulations, of preferential treatment and living outside the law.

Christians are required to seek state approval to build churches, and intermarriage between Coptic men and Muslim women is illegal. In November, violent clashes broke out in Cairo over plans to build a church. And almost exactly one year ago, a gunman massacred seven people in a town in southern Egypt, following a Christmas mass.
(See TIME’s Top 10 of Everything of 2010.)

But conversion is one topic that has been particularly contentious, and increasingly public as well. Since last summer, Alexandria — known half a century ago for being Egypt’s breezy, cosmopolitan gateway to the Mediterranean — has become the epicenter of extremist outrage over the alleged captive converts. While al-Qaeda militants in Iraq have called repeatedly for attacks on Christians until they are released, adherents to the hard-line Salafi sect of Islam have staged regular protests, in which they compare the Egyptian pope to the devil, and liken their conflict to the Crusades.

It’s no wonder then that not everyone is buying the official line on the source of the attacks. “I remain more convinced that it is an Islamic Jihadist group rooted in Egypt and Alexandria, and it stands behind whatever has happened,” says Yousef Sidham, the editor of Al-Watany, a Coptic Christian Christian newspaper. “We know that whenever al-Qaeda succeeds in an attack, they always declare responsibility for it,” he adds. In this case, that hasn’t happened yet.
(Comment on this story.)

Meanwhile, the national unity that state authorities have called for today may instead wind up another casualty of the midnight bombing. Shortly after the explosion, clashes erupted between Christian and Muslim protesters who had gathered at the scene, and the Associated Press reported that a mob of Christians broke into a nearby mosque, throwing books out into the street. On Saturday clashes continued between Christian protesters and police wiedling tear gas.

It’s a cycle that analysts say is likely to repeat in the days ahead. “It’s a very hot situation, and it is liable to be continuous,” says Milad Hanna, a Coptic politician and former member of parliament.

Bombing opens vein of Christian anger in Egypt

By PAUL SCHEMM, Associated Press Paul Schemm, Associated Press – Mon Jan 3, 4:54 pm ET

CAIRO – The New Year’s Day suicide bombing of a church that killed 21 people has opened up a vein of fury among Egypt’s Christians, built up over years of what they call government failure to address persistent discrimination and violence against their community.

[…]

Christian anger, says rights activist Hossam Bahgat, stems in large part because they feel attacks against them can be carried out with impunity, something borne out by evidence of past incidents, especially in Egypt’s impoverished hinterlands.

In a two-year study conducted by his organization, the Egyptian Initiative for Personal Rights, he documented 52 anti-Christian incidents between 2008 and 2010 and in none of them were the perpetrators punished. Instead security forces arbitrarily arrested a few people.

“Security then forces both sides to accept reconciliation at the expense of justice,” he said, which gives the perpetrators a sense of impunity. “It’s an invitation for these events to recur and the victims are left feeling victimized twice, first by those who did it and second by the government.”

Egypt’s government maintains Muslims and Christians are treated equally in the country and after these kinds of sectarian incidents loudly affirms its commitment to national unity.

But Christians have long complained that they are discriminated against in getting jobs in the government, universities — even the private sector. They also point to rising Muslim conservativism that they say affects government officials’ dealings with Christians.

Youssef Sidhom, a prominent Coptic intellectual and editor of the weekly Watani newspaper, said that in Egyptian society there has been growing antipathy to coexisting with Christians, undermining such official pronouncements.

“The infiltration of political Islam into our education, our schools, into the hearts and minds of school teachers and into our school books and is extremely dangerous because it produces innocent children who are infected by the version of Islam that does not accept the other and preaches non-acceptance of Christians,” he told The Associated Press.

In an editorial in the English-language online version of the state-owned Al-Ahram newspaper, editor Hani Shukrallah slammed the government for trying to appease Islamist sentiment and warned against rising anti-Christian sentiment among Muslims.

“I accuse the millions of supposedly moderate Muslims among us — those who’ve been growing more and more prejudiced, inclusive and narrow minded with every passing year,” he wrote Saturday.

“I have heard you speak, in your offices, in your clubs, at your dinner parties: ‘The Copts must be taught a lesson…

RACISM, ANTI-SEMITISM

Congressional Record – Page 16159

Europe must take seriously the ideology of anti-Semitism coming out of the Arab and Islamic world. It must denounce the deliberate targeting of Jews by terrorist groups, whether it be al Qaeda or Hamas.

Official PA Newspaper Prints Racist, Anti-Semitic Cartoons
[Published: 05/25/05, 1:45 PM / Last Update: 05/24/05, 8:04 PM]
(IsraelNN.com) Despite repeated calls by the Bush administration to end anti-Israel incitement in the Palestinian Authority media, the official newspaper of the PA continues to regularly publish hate cartoons against Israel and Jews.

Continued incitement against Israel in the PA press flies in the face of U.S. sponsored Road Map plan. Aside from fighting terrorism, one of the primary obligations of the PA under this plan is the elimination of incitement against Israel. As recently as two days ago, at the AIPAC convention in Washington on Monday, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice called on the Arabs to “end incitement in their media.”

Press Release Israel / Middle-East

Anti-Semitism at Core of Hamas Charter

New York, NY, February 27, 2006 … The founding covenant of Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist group whose leaders are poised to take a central role in the governance of the Palestinian Authority, is committed not only to the destruction of Israel and the establishment of an Islamic state in its place, but to raw, unadulterated Jew-hatred.

Adopted in August 1988, the Hamas Charter openly embraces the notorious anti-Semitic forgery, “The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion,” holding it up as evidence that Jews are innately greedy, manipulative and conniving, according to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).  The charter adopts classical anti-Semitic canards: Jews as plotting to control the world, Jews acquiring wealth by stealing, and Jews controlling the levers of power in media, government and finance.  Such stereotypical anti-Semitic canards have been used through the centuries to defame and demonize Jews, leading to violence, pogroms and, ultimately, the Holocaust.

“The Hamas credo is not just anti-Israel, but profoundly anti-Semitic with racism at its core,” said Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director.  “The Hamas Charter reads like a modern-day ‘Mein Kampf.’

The Anti-Semitism of Hamas

Anti-Semitism is a major pillar in the ideology of Hamas.

by Meir Litvak

Anti-Semitism is a major pillar in the ideology of Hamas (acronym of Harakat al-muqawama al-Islamiyya – Islamic Resistance Movement), a Palestinian national-Islamic movement, which perceives and articulates its conflict with Israel in Manichean and absolutist religious terms. Like most other Islamic movements in the Middle East, Hamas regards the conflict with the latest and most fateful phase of the relentless onslaught waged by western imperialism and culture against Islam since the Crusades. Hamas publications portray the Jews as instruments of the West or, alternatively, as the power that controls and manipulates the West in this war. Concurrently, it views the current struggle as the last link in the war, which the Jews have been waging against Islam since its essence. Consequently, Hamas emphasizes the emphasis on the “Islamic essence” of the Palestinian cause.”
[…]

Modern Anti-Jewish Animosity

The modern anti-Jewish animosity of Islamic movements goes much further than traditional Islam. Although Muslims have always viewed Islam as a superior religion, superseding Judaism, they did not consider Judaism as a heresy, which required eradication, as long as it did not challenge Islam’s rule. Historically, Muslims regarded Christianity as a greater threat than Judaism, and devoted greater attention to it in their polemical literature.
However, due to the conflict with Israel, Judaism rather than Christianity has become the prime enemy for the Islamist organizations, drawing inspiration from anti-Jewish utterances in the Koran and from modern European anti-Semitism.
A good example of this vilification is the Hamas Charter, the movement’s canonical document, which provides a picture of the Jews and Judaism drawn from the notorious anti-Semitic tract, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Article 22, for instance, describes the Jews as controlling the world media with their money and as having established secret organizations throughout the world – such as the Freemasons and Rotary Club – “for the destruction of societies and the fulfilment of the goals of Zionism.” They have “caused revolutions all over the world,” from France in 1789 to Russia in 1917 “in order to fulfil their goal.” Likewise, “with their money, they seized control of the imperialist powers and pushed them to subdue many countries in order to squeeze their resources and spread their corruption.” In addition, Hamas accuses the Jews of fomenting all-important wars in history. Most important, the Jews stood behind the outbreak of World War I, which ‘eliminated’ the Ottoman Empire, the “state of the Islamic Caliphate.” The breakdown of Islamic unity opened the way for the establishment of “the Zionist entity” in Palestine. Likewise, they “were behind World War II, through which they made huge financial gains by trading in armaments, and paved the way for the establishment of their state.”
Of special significance are the wars, which the Jews have waged against Islam from the time of the Prophet. Accordingly, the Jews opposed the Prophet from the moment he arrived in Medina, in a desperate effort to prevent the spread of Islam, rejecting his generous offers and distorting his message. They tried to harm the Islamic umma (nation) and dominate it.”

Derogatory Descriptions of the Jews

In many of its publications Hamas employs harsh derogatory descriptions of the Jews, often taken from the Koran, such as “blood suckers,” “brothers of apes,” “killers of the prophets,” “human pigs,” and warmongers “the descendants of treachery and deceit,” “butchers.” They are a “cancer expanding” in the land of Palestine, “threatening the entire Islamic world.” They are “spreading corruption” in the land of Islam. “Deceit and usury are stamped in their nature,” and they are all “thieves, monopolists, and usurers.”

Almost every issue of the Hamas organ, Filastin al-Muslima contains articles enumerating the evil deeds and character of the Jews based on an analysis and exegetes of specific suras (chapters) from the Koran.
Particularly significant, in view of the historical record, are the equations, which Hamas makes between the Jews, the Zionists and the Nazis and the denial of the Holocaust. Hamas argues that Israel’s actions exceed those of the Nazis, and that “the Jews represent Nazism in its most criminal form.” Yet, following the Stockholm conference on the Holocaust, held in January 2000, Hamas declared that the conference had:

A clear Zionist goal, aimed at forging history by hiding the truth about the so-called Holocaust, which is an alleged and invented story with no basis . . .. The invention of these grand illusions of an alleged crime that never occurred, ignoring the millions of dead European victims of Nazism during the war, clearly reveals the racist Zionist face, which believes in the superiority of the Jewish race over the rest of the nations.

cAbd al-cAziz al-Rantisi, Hamas leader from Gaza, went further by denying the Holocaust, while simultaneously charging that “the Zionists were behind the Nazis’ murder of many Jews,” with the aim of intimidating and forcing them to immigrate to Palestine. Furthermore, he claimed that the Nazis “received tremendous financial aid from the Zionist banks and monopolies,” prior to their seizure of power and that “this great financial aid helped the Nazis build the military and economic force needed to destroy Europe and annihilate millions.” “When we compare the Zionists to the Nazis,” Rantisi concluded, “We insult the Nazis,” he concluded.
Reviewing the life of the late Pope John Paul II, the Hamas weekly al-Risala concluded that his 1998 letter, in which he apologized to the Jews for the Holocaust was his “greatest crime”.

Why Anti-Semitism Is Growing in Germany

By Donald Snyder
Published December 22, 2010, issue of December 31, 2010.

Meanwhile, many of Germany’s 4 million Muslims stay connected with events in the Middle East via cable television networks, such as Hezbollah’s Al-Manar and Hamas’s Al-Aqsa. These are anti-Semitic networks that promote Holocaust denial.

Videos justifying the persecution of Jews and promoting child martyrdom for Islam are shown daily on these networks, fueling anti-Semitism among Muslim youth in Germany.

“You cannot undo with education what these satellite broadcasts are doing,” said Matthias Kuntzel, an author and political scientist, in a phone interview from Hamburg.

The programs are fed to Germany on Egyptian and Saudi Arabian satellites. Both countries have refused repeated German requests to stop transmitting Al-Manar. German law prohibits the dissemination of hate. Although Al-Manar was banned in 2008, private homes with satellite dishes continue to receive its programs, making the ban ineffective.

Why, then, is Erlanger obsessed with this distinction? I suggest that what Erlanger is actually saying is that what is really bad about Hamas is not that it is a racist, terrorist group with genocidal intentions against Israelis but that it is an Islamist organization. If, after all, Hamas is exercising a just right of resistance motivated by Israeli misdeeds, how can it be condemned on those grounds? The trouble with Hamas is that it is a ‘right wing’ religious group rather than a ‘left wing’ nationalist one.

Over 10,000 Palestinians Attend West Bank Rally to Restore Islamic Caliphate
A crowd of more than 10,000 Palestinians Saturday heard denunciations of the PA leadership in the West Bank as infidels at a Liberation Party rally on the sports field of the Quaker-run Friends School in Ramallah.
The party calls for re-establishing the caliphate, or Islamic state, across the Muslim world.
“The caliphate is coming,” read a large poster on the wall of the field.

In the early 1990s, Hamas spokesmen dismissed doubts concerning the realization of a universal Islamic caliphate. For instance, Mahmud al-Zahhar, a Hamas leader in Gaza, claimed that Palestine had always been part of a greater Islamic state and that a distinct Palestinian state had never existed. A comparison between the religious Islamic past and the currently divided Arab world led Zahar to the conclusion that the framework of separate states had utterly failed. He even pointed to the formation of the European Union as an example of the world-wide trend of establishing supranational political units, which the Muslims should adopt as well. If the caliphs were able to control the Muslim nation in the age of the camel and the donkey, then al-Zahar assumed, that the task should be all the more easier today thanks to the modern means of communication and transport. Notwithstanding the movement’s pan- Islamic ambition, spokesmen still gave preference to the Palestinian component of their ideology, even within the framework of the pan- Islamic vision. Accordingly, some of its spokesmen even believed that Jerusalem, not Mecca, would become the capital of the future Islamic caliphate.40 Another example of the wavering between the Islamic vision and the distinct Palestinian identity was the debate between Hamas and al-Qai’da over the priorities of the Islamic struggle.

They are articulating their goals and recruiting thousands of faithful to join the holy fight to reestablish the caliphate and the return of Islamic pride. In a sermon that aired on Hamas’ Al-Aksa TV on April 11, 2008, Yunis Al-Astal, Hamas MP and cleric, told worshipers that Rome, “the capital of the Catholics, or the Crusader capital,” would soon be conquered by Islam, just as Constantinople was. It then, he said, would become “an advance post for the Islamic conquests, which will spread through Europe in its entirety, and then will turn to the two Americas, and even Eastern Europe.”

The Caliphate is Coming
By Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld
FrontPageMagazine.com | Tuesday, January 31, 2006
To Mousa Abu Marzuk, Deputy Chief of Hamas’ Political Bureau in Damascus, HAMAS’ triumph is an important springboard towards the establishment of the Caliphate – a global Islamic state, where life would be dictated by the Shari’a.
In a statement Abu Marzuk made on January 26, following HAMAS’ sweeping victory of the Palestinian legislative elections, he said that HAMAS, the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), is reaping the fruits of its efforts over the last six decades. It was established in Palestine in 1936 – not in 1987, as most mistakenly think. Since then, the movement, according to Abu Marzuk, has carried out its political, social agenda, including Dawa (Prosetylization) and Jihad.

Hamas
Allah, kill Christians and Jews “to the last one”

by Itamar Marcus and Barbara Crook

[Dec. 8, 2010]

A video on official Hamas TV calls for Allah to kill Jews, Christians, Communists and their supporters. The video asks Allah to “count them and kill them to the last one, and don’t leave even one.”

As Palestinian Media Watch has reported this call for the killing of non-Muslims was a regular pronouncement by both Palestinian Authority (Fatah) and Hamas political and religious leaders for many years starting in July 2000.

For years, sermons by religious leaders on official Palestinian Authority TV under Yasser Arafat and Mahmoud Abbas routinely presented the killing of Jews as a religious obligation and a fulfillment of the Islamic ideal.

Due to PMW’s exposure of these sermons, which led to international criticism and pressure, Mahmoud Abbas, whose office controls PA TV, has been forced to prevent the broadcast of sermons calling for extermination of Jews on PA TV.

The latest sermon of this nature on PA TV was in January 2010.

[…]see the section on PMW’s website documenting the PA and Hamas depicting the killing of Jews as an Islamic obligation.

The following is the transcript of the Hamas video clip:

“Allah, oh our Lord, vanquish Your enemies, enemies of the religion
[Islam] in all places.
Allah, strike the Jews and their sympathizers,
the Christians and their supporters,
the Communists and their adherents.
Allah, count them and kill them to the last one, and don’t leave even one.”

The Hamas advocates Killing Jews, simply for being Jews

[…]
IDF Spoksperson 24 November 2002

The Iz-Adin Al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas, published
(23 November 2002) a bulletin on their official website, advocating the
murder of Jews simply for the fact of that they are Jews.

The bulletin was published to commemerate the anniversary of the death of Imad Akal, a senior Hamas official, killed in the Gaza Strip on November 24, 1993. The bulletin quotes Akal as saying: “We will knock on the doors of Heaven with the skulls of the Jews”. The bulletin depicts an axe shattering the word “Al-Yahud” (Jews) and splintering the skulls of Jews. The words Al-Qassam are engraved on the axe.

Here are some examples of the racist Arab-Palestinian Hamas’ “Ezzedeen Al-Qassam Brigades” from its own site

These include official attitudes and Hate, Jihadi Messages (like calls: to kill all Jews and Christians), posted since Aug/Sep/Oct 2010, still left on December 22, 2010.
It entails:

  • Sympathizing with Holocaust denial/deniers, perpetuating Nazi-type theories about Jews.
  • Protesting Holocaust remembreance
  • Racist Islamic-Militant dehumanization of Jews as “apes and swine”
  • Despite some vague declarations, in reality, the underline message (though not publically/officially) is that the ‘war is on the JEWS’ as a whole.’
  • Calling for [ethnic cleansing] expulsion of all Jews from the entire area.
  • Justifying killing Jews who “derserve death.”
  • Ironically, or rather typically, these real Racist Arabs, actual Muslim bigots and hidden Nazis’ sympathizers use the terminology: “racism,” or/and “fascism” and even “nazism.” (coating their messages with connecting anti-radical-terrorists operation with something about supposed “against non-Jews” crap, along the lines of KKK’s David Duke language) – to demonize Israeli defenders.

The Islamic Crime of Pushing ‘911 conspiracy theories’ [“truthers” – Rewriting Muslims’ perpertrated massacre of 3,000 people on 9/11/2001]

9/11 conspiracy theories rife in Muslim world [WashingtonPost]

By CHRISTOPHER TORCHIA
The Associated Press

Saturday, October 2, 2010; 7:09 AM

ISTANBUL — About a week ago, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared to the United Nations that most people in the world believe the United States was behind the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

To many people in the West, the statement was ludicrous, almost laughable if it weren’t so incendiary. And surveys show that a majority of the world does not in fact believe that the U.S. orchestrated the attacks.

However, the belief persists strongly among a minority, even with U.S. allies like Turkey or in the U.S. itself. And it cannot be dismissed because it reflects a gulf in politics and perception, especially between the West and many Muslims.

“That theory might be true,” said Ugur Tezer, a 48-year-old businessman who sells floor tiles in the Turkish capital, Ankara. “When I first heard about the attack I thought, ‘Osama,’ but then I thought the U.S. might have done it to suppress the rise of Muslims.”

Compassion for the United States swept the globe right after the attacks, but conspiracy theories were circulating even then. It wasn’t al-Qaida, they said, but the United States or Israel that downed the towers. Weeks after the strikes, at the United Nations, President George W. Bush urged the world not to tolerate “outrageous conspiracy theories” that deflected blame from the culprits.

However, the subsequent wars in Iraq and Afghanistan provided fodder for the damning claim that the U.S. killed its own citizens, supposedly to justify military action in the Middle East and to protect Israel. A 2006 survey by the Pew Global Attitudes Project found that significant majorities in Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan and Turkey – all among the most moderate nations in the Islamic world – said they did not believe Arabs carried out the attacks.

Two years later, a poll of 17 nations by WorldPublicOpinion.org, an international research project, found majorities in nine of them believed al-Qaida was behind the attacks. However, the U.S. government was blamed by 36 percent of Turks and 27 percent of Palestinians.

Such beliefs have currency even in the United States. In 2006, a Scripps Howard poll of 1,010 Americans found 36 percent thought it somewhat or very likely that U.S. officials either participated in the attacks or took no action to stop them.

Those who say the attacks might have been an “inside job” usually share antipathy toward the U.S. government, and often a maverick sensibility. Besides Ahmadinejad, high-profile doubters include Cuba’s Fidel Castro and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. Former Minnesota governor and pro wrestler Jesse Ventura has questioned the official account. Conspiracy theorists have heckled former President Bill Clinton and other prominent Americans during speeches.

Controversy over U.S. actions and policies, including the widely discredited assertions that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, reinforced the perceptions of conspiracy theorists. Iranians dug deeper into history, recalling the U.S.-backed coup in their country in 1953.

“Initially, I was doubtful about the conspiracy theories. But after seeing the events in later years, I don’t have any doubt that it was their own operation to find a pretext to hit Muslim countries,” said Shaikh Mushtaq Ahmed, a 58-year-old operations manager in a bank in Pakistan. “It’s not a strange thing that they staged something like this in their own country to achieve a big objective.”

In March, an editorial in The Washington Post harshly criticized Yukihisa Fujita, a lawmaker with the ruling Democratic Party of Japan, for saying in an interview that some of the Sept. 11 hijackers were alive and that shadowy forces with advance information about the plot played the stock market for profit. Fujita said the article contained factual errors.

The record shows that al-Qaida agents on a suicide mission hijacked four American passenger planes and crashed them into the World Trade Center towers, the Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania, killing nearly 3,000 people. The evidence is immense: witness accounts, audio recordings, video and photographic documentation, exhaustive investigations and claims of responsibility by al-Qaida.

Yet every fact and official assertion only feeds into alternative views that become amplified on the Internet, some tinged with anti-Semitism because of the close U.S.-Israeli alliance. They theorize that a knowing U.S. government stood by as the plot unfolded, or that controlled demolitions destroyed the Twin Towers, and the Pentagon was hit by a missile.

“All this, of course, would require hundreds if not thousands of people to be in on the plot. It speaks volumes for the determination to believe something,” said David Aaronovitch, the British author of “Voodoo Histories: the role of Conspiracy Theory in Modern History.”

“This kind of theory really does have a big impact in the Middle East,” he said. “It gets in the way of thinking seriously about the problems in the area and what should be done.”

A U.S. State Department website devotes space to debunking conspiracy theories about Sept. 11, in the apparent belief that the allegations must be addressed forcefully rather than dismissed out of hand as the ruminations of a fringe group.

“Conspiracy theories exist in the realm of myth, where imaginations run wild, fears trump facts, and evidence is ignored. As a superpower, the United States is often cast as a villain in these dramas,” the site says.

Tod Fletcher of Petaluma, California, has worked as an assistant to David Ray Griffin, a retired theology professor, on books that question the Sept. 11 record. He was cautious about the Iranian president’s comments about conspiracy theories, suggesting Ahmadinejad may have been politically motivated by his enmity with the U.S. government.

“It seems like it’s the sort of thing that could lead to further vilification of people who criticize the official account here in the United States,” Fletcher said.

Sitting With Ahmadinejad « Liveshots

>
September 25, 2010 – 10:33 PM | by: Eric Shawn
“A feisty interview,” is what the Associated Press called it.

Boy, was it ever.

Sitting down with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was a provocative, if not unsettling, experience.

At one point he accused me of judging him, and asked if I was representing the U.S. government AND the United Nations Security Council.

And he asserted “it is true you are backed by the Defense Department of the United States.”

I am?

“You are speaking on the part of the U.S. government,” he said.

“No sir,” I answered. “I am a journalist. I am an independent, objective journalist.”

“But right now you said that the U.S. government has condemned Iran, and that the U.N. Security Council has, and do you represent them?”

“No I do not,” I shot back. “I am representing fact.”

I asked him about his controversial comments about 9/11, in which he claimed that most people believe that the American government was actually behind the terrorist attacks. I asked how he could say such “an insane and nutty thing” and insult millions of Americans. Using words like “insane” and “nutty” during an interview is not my typical style. Then again, this was hardly a garden variety interview. And Ahmadinejad certainly has never hesitated to lob the most potentially insulting and incendiary accusations towards our country and head of state. I asked what proof he had for such a claim, and pointed out that Usama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda have publicly taken credit for the attacks. He said he was insulted — ironic, given his own comments — and explained that he was not giving his own opinion, but merely exploring some of the theories that have been raised about 9/11.

“I did not give an opinion of my own,” he said. “I actually suggested that a fact- finding group, a mission be formed to delve into the truth. Do you think that the entire world has to accept what the U.S. government tells them?”

President Ahmadinejad again denied that Iran is trying to develop a nuclear bomb, and I asked why anyone should believe him considering the fact that Iran is violating four United Nations Security Council resolutions.

“We do not insist that you should believe us,” he said. “We’ve never said that you should. You are free not to believe us. But why would you insist on exposing your view on us with resolutions, with force?”

He said he would not meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “Why should I meet him?” he asked. And he denied Iran supports terrorism, saying “from the day American troops and the allied troops entered Iraq and Afghanistan, terrorists have increased one-hundred fold…we are victims of terrorism.”

He often answered questions with questions, and didn’t want to be interrupted, as I repeatedly tried to clarify and challenge some of his assertions. He accused me “of almost arguing” with him. It’s hard not to “almost argue” with someone who looks you straight in the eye and suggests that your government is behind the killing of thousands of its own people. It’s hard not to “almost argue” with someone who would represent himself as a purveyor of peace, even as his regime continually defies Security Council resolutions regarding its disputed nuclear program and condones the stoning of its own people. It’s hard not to “almost argue” with someone who has questioned the Holocaust and has called for wiping Israel off the map.

And at the end of the day, he insists that his message to the “good people of America” is one of peace and good will….. a message, delivered, as all his statements seems to be, with a smile.

The ‘911 Conspiracy Theories’ origin: Iranian backed Arab-Muslim Terrpr Group: Hezbollah – First to come up with a vile theroy on Sep. 17, 2001

9/11 Conspiracy Theories Take Root in Arab/Muslim World Sep 8, 2006

…it was Hezbollah’s television station al-Manar, six days after 9/11, that “reported” that 4,000 Israelis employed at the World Trade Center did not show up for work that day because they were told in advance of the attacks…. And there are plenty of people, for a variety of reasons, who are ready to buy into such a theory — some because they don’t like Israel; some because they don’t like America; some because the preaching of radical Islamic mullahs has brought anti-Semitism into the mosque; some because it is easier to blame the Jew than face up to the challenge of terrorist versions of Islam.

The 9/11 conspiracy theory tells a lot about how these things work. It is exactly because the charge is so absurd and shown to be false that it has such appeal. Who could think that Israel would commit such a heinous act against its main ally in the world? The deviousness and cunning that underlies this perspective is what makes it so alluring. The evil that explains it has no bounds. All, it is said, is done to draw the United States into a war against Islam to serve Zionist ends…

Anger, conspiracy and 9/11 truth Sep 11, 2006 [WND]

… However, where 9/11 conspiracy theorists cross the line into … Let’s bring this down to earth with an illustration: Have you ever wondered why so much of the Arab-Muslim world eagerly believes the wildest, most laughably absurd conspiracy theories?

Right now, for instance, Hezbollah’s Al-Manar TV is broadcasting with a straight face the claim that “Zionist squads specializing in car bombs” are terrorizing Iraq. Meanwhile, Hezbollah’s leader, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, insists that all the bombings of Christian churches in Iraq have been the work of the CIA and Mossad.

Al-Manar’s former programming director, Sheikh Nasir al-Akhdar, has said that the station’s goals are to “wage psychological warfare” and “promote the Islamic resistance.” He has further explained that “the ‘war’ with the Zionist enemy continues.
[…]
Al-Manar broadcasts Hezbollah’s messages to an estimated daily audience of 10-15 million viewers. During the Muslim holy month of Ramadan in 2003, Al-Manar aired Ash-Shatat (“the Diaspora”), a 30-part series produced in Syria and based on the anti-Semitic literature the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion.”

Al-Manar also appears to be the source of the conspiracy theory that claimed that 4,000 Israelis were absent from their jobs at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, implying that Israel was responsible for the terrorist attacks of that day. In addition to broadcasting the conspiracy, Al-Manar also posted the story on its Web site, which enables viewers to watch live streaming video of the network. The September 11 conspiracy story was later picked up by extremists around the world.

Al-Manar often airs interviews and speeches, given by Hezbollah leaders, that incite violence. In several addresses aired during a Shi’i festival in February 2006, for example, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah condemned a Danish newspaper that published cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad. Nasrallah urged European parliaments to “draft laws that ban newspapers from insulting the Prophet” and warned, “Today we are protesting…but we are ready to shed our blood.”

On March 24, 2008, Al-Manar broadcasted a speech by Nasrallah to mark the end of the 40-day mourning period for Imad Mughniyah, a Hezbollah military commander killed the previous month. In his speech, Nasrallah stated that “The Zionist entity can be wiped out of existence,” warned of “Zionist-American propaganda” and spoke about the “bloody war of consciousness” in which Israel, helped by some Arabs and Europeans, has “infiltrated” the media. Nasrallah also stated that “Mughniyah will remain the pillar for the resistance in his martyrdom as he was the pillar of the resistance during his life, his jihad and his work. We…will continue to follow his path.”

The U.S. State Department designated Al-Manar as a terrorist entity and added the satellite station to the Terrorism Exclusion List in December 2004. Two years later, the U.S. Treasury Department added Al-Manar, along with its parent company, the Lebanese Media Group, to its Specially Designated Global Terrorist List, which resulted in economic sanctions against the station and made it illegal for any U.S. persons to engage in financial transactions with it. In June 2009, Javed Iqbal and Saleh Elahwal were sentenced in a Manhattan federal court to nearly six years in prison and 17 months in prison, respectively, for distributing broadcasts of Al-Manar in New York and providing material support to Hezbollah.

Several European countries, including France, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands, as well as Australia, have also taken measures to block Al-Manar. In March 2005, the broadcasting regulators in the European Union agreed to ban satellite broadcasting of Al-Manar on the basis that the channel carried racist material and incitement. As a result, several satellite service providers, most of them European, dropped Al-Manar, making it unavailable in North and South America, Asia and Australia. Al-Manar, is, however, still available in Europe through Arab satellite companies and its Web site offers English, French and Spanish translations of its material.

Hezbollah’s Nazi roots [National Post]

This is the first Middle East war in which the main threat to Israel comes, not from secular Arab nationalism, but from Islamism.

Both Hezbollah and Hamas draw their main inspiration, armaments and funding from Islamist sources, ranging from the Sunni ideologues of the Muslim Brotherhood to the Shiite demagogues of Iran. What unites them all is a fanatical dedication to the destruction of Israel.

Sounding like a modern-day Hitler, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad this week repeated his call for the “elimination” of Israel, home to six million Jews. Hezbollah, Iran’s proxy army in Lebanon, shares that objective. Its leader, Hassan Nasrallah, has urged the world’s Jews to collect in Israel in order to facilitate the task of exterminating them…

Hezbollah’s Nazi salute evokes memories of Hitler’s support for Arab agitators such as the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the leaders of a pro-Nazi coup in Iraq. The Nazi legacy also manifests itself in Holocaust denial or revisionism, a Middle Eastern obsession that unites the most extreme Islamists, including Iran’s president, with “moderate” secularists such as Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas..

Al-qaeda accuses Iran, Hezbollah for spreading lying “theories” for its “Shiite” political goals

Al-Qaida: Hezbollah started rumor that Israel was behind 9/11 …Apr 23, 2008 …

By The Associated Press
Osama bin Laden’s deputy Al-Zawahri accused Hezbollah’s Al-Manar television yesterday of starting a conspiracy theory that Israel was behind the 2001 suicide airplane attack against the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

“The purpose of this lie is clear – [to suggest] there are no heroes among the Sunnis who can hurt America as no else did in history. Iranian media snapped up this lie and repeated it,” he said in a tape posted on an Islamic Web site.

Al Qaida Number 2: Iran Propagated 9/11 Conspiracy Theory [HuffingtonPost]

MAGGIE MICHAEL | April 22, 2008 11:24 AM EST

CAIRO, Egypt — Osama bin Laden’s chief deputy in an audiotape Tuesday accused Shiite Iran of trying to discredit the Sunni al-Qaida terror network by spreading the conspiracy theory that Israel was behind the Sept. 11 attacks.

The comments reflected al-Qaida’s No. 2 leader Ayman al-Zawahri’s increasing criticism of Iran. Al-Zawahri has accused Iran in recent messages of seeking to extend its power in the Middle East, particularly in Iraq and through its Hezbollah allies in Lebanon.

The authenticity of the two-hour audio recording posted on an Islamic Web site could not be independently confirmed. But the voice sounded like past audiotapes from the terror leader, and the posting where it was found bore the logo of Al-Sahab, al-Qaida’s official media arm.

It was the second of two messages answering questions that were posted to Islamic militant Web sites earlier this year.

One of the questioners asked about the theory that has circulated in the Middle East and elsewhere that Israel was behind the 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

Al-Zawahri accused Hezbollah’s Al-Manar television of starting the rumor.

“The purpose of this lie is clear _ (to suggest) that there are no heroes among the Sunnis who can hurt America as no else did in history. Iranian media snapped up this lie and repeated it,” he said.

“Iran’s aim here is also clear to cover up its involvement with America in invading the homes of Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq,” he said.

Iran cooperated with the United States in the 2001 U.S. assault on Afghanistan that toppled al-Qaida’s allies, the Taliban.

Answering questions about Iraq in Tuesday’s tape, al-Zawahri said the insurgent umbrella group led by al-Qaida, called the Islamic State of Iraq, is “the primary force opposing the Crusaders and challenging Iranian ambitions” in Iraq, he said, referring to the Americans.

As he often does in his messages, al-Zawahri denounced the “Crusader invasion” of Iraq, but in Tuesday’s tape he paired it with a mention of “Iranian complicity” or “Iranian agents.”

In the latest tape, al-Zawahri was also asked if the terror group had further plans to attack Western countries that participated in the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq and subsequent war.

“My answer is: Yes! We think that any country that has joined aggression on Muslims must be deterred,” he replied.

In response to a question signed by the Japanese news agency Kyodo asking if Japan remains a target because it once had troops in Iraq, al-Zawahri said “Japan provided help under the banner of the crusader coalition … therefore it participated in the Crusader campaign against the lands of Islam.”

Japan deployed non-combat troops to southern Iraq in 2003 to carry out reconstruction work. It withdrew its troops from Iraq in 2006 and now conducts airlifts to help supply U.S.-led forces in that country.

Al-Zawahri spoke on a wide range of issues, even global warming, which he said reflected “how criminal, brutal and greedy the Western Crusader world is, with America at the top.”

He predicted that global warming would “make the world more sympathetic to and understanding of the Muslims’ jihad against the aggressor America.”

Asked if there are any women in al-Qaida, the terror leader answered simply: “No.” In a follow-up answer, he said: “There are no women in al-Qaida jihadi group, but the women of the mujahedeen are playing a heroic role in taking care of their houses and sons.”

In several parts of Tuesday’s audio message, Al-Zawahri claimed that the Taliban took over 95 percent of Afghanistan and is sweeping Pakistan as well.

“The Crusaders and their agents in Pakistan and Afghanistan are starting to fall,” he said.

In another answer Tuesday, al-Zawahri said it was against Islamic religious law for any Muslim to live permanently in a Western country because in doing so they would “have permanent stay there under the laws of the infidels.”

Al-Qaida’s media arm, Al-Sahab, announced in December that al-Zawahri would take questions from the public posted on Islamic militant Web sites and would respond “as soon as possible.” Queries were submitted on the main Islamist Web site until the cutoff date of Jan. 16.

On October 22, the ADC’s Committee of Western New York held an event commemorating the Sabra and Shatilla massacres, entitled “Memory Lives, Resistance Persists.” Resistance, a word that ADC has used interchangeably for terrorism in reports about the Middle East conflict, was celebrated on the flyer. A popular Palestinian cartoon character, Handala, is seen writing the Arabic words, “Revolution until victory.”
In addition, the ADC recently decided to commemorate the career of Helen Thomas, a Lebanese American journalist whose career was ended abruptly in June over an anti-Semitic tirade…

On the Palestinian side, abuses against the press tend to be a function of events on the ground. Palestinian security forces have confiscated film from photographers and threatened reporters who have covered stories deemed sensitive. So, too, have Palestinian militants and demonstrators. In a highly publicized incident in 2001, Palestinian security forces harassed and prevented several journalists from covering demonstrations of Palestinians in the West Bank city of Nablus who were celebrating the attacks on New York City and Washington, D.C. In another incident in 2001, a PNA official issued a veiled threat to an Associated Press cameraman who had filmed Palestinians in the West Bank town of Nablus celebrating the September 11 attacks. The official said that the journalist’s safety could not be guaranteed if the footage were aired.

Palestinians celebrate [Daily Star, Sep. 12, 2001]

‘Support to our intifada’

Mohammed Zaatari

Daily Star correspondent
Palestinian refugees spilled into the streets of their shantytowns in Lebanon to rejoice at the carnage in New York and Washington on Tuesday, defying their own leadership’s firm condemnation of the apparent terrorist strikes.

Refugees toured the Ain al-Hilweh camp near Sidon, firing their rifles in the air in a noisy display of glee.

“Whoever protects terror should know how to protect himself,” one elderly man said.

Women ululated and bagpipers played patriotic songs as the refugees converged on the vegetable market, the largest square in the camp.
Shopowners handed out sweets as small television sets aired time and again images of the World Trade Center’s twin towers on fire and tumbling down after the attacks.

The cheering grew louder when the television spots shifted to the American capital to show a section of the Pentagon on fire after it had been hit by a third aircraft.

The scenes were similar in the camps of Rashidieh, near Tyre; Bourj al-Barajneh in Beirut; and in the North’s Nahr al-Bared, where Palestinian frustration with American support for Israel during the latest violence has been on the rise.

“What happened to America today vindicates the Palestinians and all those suffering the injustice this big power has been imposing on the world,” said Ain al-Hilweh’s Ahmad Hussein, who is in his late teens.

Fatima Khalil said: “It’s like an earthquake that proves that justice will ultimately triumph. This lends support to our intifada.”

Issam Mohammed, in his early teens, said that he wanted to see President Bush “lying in the basement somewhere, fearful for his life, to understand what the Palestinians are going through day after day.”
Nearby young men and women sang together: “Where to? To Ramallah. Where to?
To Ramallah.”

Rejoicing in the streets of Jenin – Middle East – Salon.com

Rejoicing in the streets of Jenin

While many Palestinians celebrate the attack on the U.S., Yasser Arafat denounces it as “unacceptable” and Israelis mourn.
By Flore de Préneuf JENIN, West Bank — In Jenin, they know a good terrorist attack when they hear about it.

The walls of people’s homes here are covered with posters glorifying Islamic terrorists and Palestinian “martyrs.” The area, in the northern West Bank, has produced more suicide bombers than any other Palestinian town since the beginning of the intifada nearly a year ago. Most recently Jenin operatives lent a hand to the Israeli Arab kamikaze who killed three Israelis and wounded dozens of others at a train station Sunday. Israeli tanks moved in Monday night to seal off the area in an effort to stop local terrorists from carrying out further attacks on Israel.

But Palestinian militants have never achieved terror of the magnitude seen today in the United States.

When young armed Palestinians patrolling the streets of a refugee camp in Jenin heard the news from New York and Washington, they chuckled with glee. One of them thanked God for his mighty revenge against the United States, Israel’s ally and main weapons supplier.

Elsewhere in the West Bank and in Gaza, thousands of Palestinians applauded the devastating blows, cheering openly in the streets and distributing celebratory candy to passersby. Some shouted that they hoped Tel Aviv would be next or vowed to complete what they believe Osama bin Laden has started.

Indeed, people here think Osama bin Laden is a more likely suspect for the attacks than Palestinian groups. The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Damascus-based Marxist organization that initially claimed and then rejected responsibility for the terrorist attacks, has only a tiny following among Palestinians and has little “street credibility.” Of course, there is still no proof that any figure from the Arab world has anything to do with the attack — Oklahoma City, too, was first blamed on Muslim forces — but that didn’t dampen the celebration here.

The loud rejoicing, however, was far from universal. Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat expressed his condolences to President Bush and condemned the crime as “dangerous and unacceptable.” Palestinian legislator and spokeswoman for the Arab League Hanan Ashrawi called it “a horrible act of absolute immorality, viciousness and evil.”

Israelis, for their part, greeted the news with angst and disbelief as if the terror attack had happened on their soil. Many Jews have relatives in the United States. But beyond the family link, there’s a very strong identification with the victims of terrorism, given Israel’s long and tragic experience with suicide bombers, booby-trapped cars and deadly ambushes.

Israelis interviewed on national television also expressed the hope that America would “finally understand” and stop condemning Israel for the protective and retaliatory measures it has taken over the past year in its fight against Palestinian activism. Many hoped that the bond between Israel and the U.S. against evil (widely assumed to be Islamic) will be stronger now that the strikes have brought home the price of fanaticism.

In material terms, Israel’s security was also directly affected by the assaults on New York and Washington. Israel closed its air space to flights from abroad, put its air force on high alert and evacuated its embassy and consulates in the United States. Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has offered to send rescue teams to the United States.

Palestinian Authority celebrates 9/11
Official paper’s cartoons glorify bin Laden, mock U.S. suffering
Posted: September 18, 2007
1:00 am Eastern

On the sixth anniversary of 9/11, the U.S.-backed Palestinian Authority continued its tradition of celebrating the attacks by publishing cartoons in its official daily that glorify Osama Bin Laden and mock American suffering.

Palestinian Media Watch reported a cartoon in Al Hayat Al Jadida – owned by the PA and controlled by the office of President Mahmoud Abbas – showed the al-Qaida leader making the “V” for victory sign with two fingers in the shape of the burning Twin Towers.

The only text on the cartoon is “Exclusive to Al Hayat Al Jadida,” which means it was prepared specifically for the official PA daily, notes PMW.

The Israeli media monitor says the PA’s celebration of 9/11 goes back to the day of the attacks in 2001 when the world was shocked by televised scenes of Palestinians rejoicing in the streets.

A December 2005 poll by the Norwegian Institute for Applied International Studies found 65 percent of Palestinians supported al-Qaida actions in the U.S. and Europe.

Earlier this year, PMW said, a former minister from Abbas’ Fatah party, Abu Ali Shahin, wished al-Qaida success against the U.S. and in its targeting of President Bush.

The Fatah leader said in an interview on official PA TV Jan. 1: “Oh [al-Qaida] brother, leave us and focus on your business. You have Bush! Do to Bush what you want, and we wish you success with Bush, even more. I, Abu Ali Shahin, wish you success with Bush… We are fighting the Americans and hate the Americans more than you!”

PMW pointed out Washington. continues to support politically and financially PA institutions and the PA itself, while ignoring promotion of hatred toward the U.S.

Shining A Light On Shariah Creep‎
Investor’s Business Daily – Nov 10, 2010

Posted 11/10/2010 07:14 PM ET

Islamofascism: The Council on American-Islamic Relations may wish it never sued to overturn an Oklahoma ban on Shariah law. Now the entire nation will get to see it and other Islamists’ true anti-American colors.

CAIR is thumping its chest over persuading a Clinton-appointed federal judge to temporarily block Oklahoma from enacting a state constitutional amendment that prohibits state courts from considering Islamic law when deciding cases. Fully 70% of Oklahoma voters passed the landmark measure.

But CAIR has ignited a legal firestorm that will likely rage all the way to the Supreme Court. Thanks to CAIR’s latest bit of lawfare, Americans will get to hear a long overdue debate not just about the constitutionality of such bans on Shariah law but about the constitutionality of Shariah law itself.

This is not a debate CAIR wants to have, since it ultimately will have to defend the indefensible. It claims in a press release that Shariah law is “a dynamic legal framework” derived from Islamic scripture “and analytical reasoning.”

In fact, there’s nothing reasoned about it. It’s a medieval legal code that administers cruel and unusual punishments such as stonings, amputations and honor killings. Think the Taliban.

Shariah can be seen in action this week with Pakistan’s death sentence on a Christian woman for blasphemy. Between 1986 and 2009, at least 974 people have been charged for defiling the Quran or insulting the Muslim Prophet Muhammad.

CAIR, which thinks free speech is a one-way street, is working with the Organization of the Islamic Conference on an international blasphemy law that would criminalize “Islamophobia,” according to the book, “Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That’s Conspiring to Islamize America.”

Shariah also permits wife-beating, something CAIR also knows about. Its sister organization, the Islamic Society of North America, condones it in its fatwas (or religious rulings) for Muslim Americans. More, CAIR distributes a book, “The Meaning of the Holy Quran,” which authorizes men to hit their wives.

CAIR says it’s just a “civil rights advocacy group.” But the Justice Department says it’s a front group for Hamas and its parent, the radical Muslim Brotherhood, a worldwide jihadist movement that has a secret plan to impose Shariah law on the U.S.

“From its founding by Muslim Brotherhood leaders, CAIR conspired with other affiliates of the Muslim Brotherhood to support terrorists,” said Assistant U.S. Attorney Gordon Kromberg in a recent court filing.

U.S. prosecutors in 2007 named CAIR an unindicted co-conspirator in a criminal scheme led by the Holy Land Foundation to funnel millions to Hamas suicide bombers and their families.

JIHAD IN NUMBERS

October 29, 2010

ISLAMIC JIHAD IN NUMBERS

Tears of Jihad
These figures are a rough estimate of the death of non-Muslims by the political act of jihad.

Africa

Thomas Sowell [Thomas Sowell, Race and Culture, BasicBooks, 1994, p. 188] estimates that 11 million slaves were shipped across the Atlantic and 14 million were sent to the Islamic nations of North Africa and the Middle East. For every slave captured many others died. Estimates of this collateral damage vary. The renowned missionary David Livingstone estimated that for every slave who reached a plantation, five others were killed in the initial raid or died of illness and privation on the forced march.[Woman’s Presbyterian Board of Missions, David Livingstone, p. 62, 1888] Those who were left behind were the very young, the weak, the sick and the old. These soon died since the main providers had been killed or enslaved. So, for 25 million slaves delivered to the market, we have an estimated death of about 120 million people. Islam ran the wholesale slave trade in Africa.

120 million Africans

Christians

The number of Christians martyred by Islam is 9 million [David B. Barrett, Todd M. Johnson, World Christian Trends AD 30-AD 2200, William Carey Library, 2001, p. 230, table 4-10] . A rough estimate by Raphael Moore in History of Asia Minor is that another 50 million died in wars by jihad. So counting the million African Christians killed in the 20th century we have:

60 million Christians

Hindus

Koenard Elst in Negationism in India gives an estimate of 80 million Hindus killed in the total jihad against India. [Koenard Elst, Negationism in India, Voice of India, New Delhi, 2002, pg. 34.] The country of India today is only half the size of ancient India, due to jihad. The mountains near India are called the Hindu Kush, meaning the “funeral pyre of the Hindus.”

80 million Hindus

Buddhists

Buddhists do not keep up with the history of war. Keep in mind that in jihad only Christians and Jews were allowed to survive as dhimmis (servants to Islam); everyone else had to convert or die. Jihad killed the Buddhists in Turkey, Afghanistan, along the Silk Route, and in India. The total is roughly 10 million. [David B. Barrett, Todd M. Johnson, World Christian Trends AD 30-AD 2200, William Carey Library, 2001, p. 230, table 4-1.]

10 million Buddhists

Jews

Oddly enough there were not enough Jews killed in jihad to significantly affect the totals of the Great Annihilation. The jihad in Arabia was 100 percent effective, but the numbers were in the thousands, not millions. After that, the Jews submitted and became the dhimmis (servants and second class citizens) of Islam and did not have geographic political power.

This gives a rough estimate of 270 million killed by jihad.

The Iran-Iraq War is a lesson in the brutality of the Muslim Sunni-Shiite conflict. The religious leaders of Iran rounded up more than 10000 Sunni children and walked them barefoot in the front lines of their armies in order to clear the mine fields. Saddam Hussein, a member of the minority Sunni sect that ruled Iraq, moved hundreds of thousands of Arab Shiite men and boys to the front lines with little or no arms, to face the onslaught of the Persian Shiite army of Iran. Estimates of casualties on both sides of the war place the figure above 2 million.

[…]
Listen to these stats: Since the attack on Sept. 11, 2001, more than 40,000 people have been killed by Muslim extremists worldwide, the result of more than 17,000 attacks. And we’re not even counting the American troops killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Forty thousand human beings dead because of Muslim terror activity.

In addition, since 9/11, the USA has spent more than $1 trillion combating Muslim terror threats, including the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. $1 trillion in less than 10 years. And you’re telling me there isn’t a Muslim problem in the world?

Many Americans also remember celebrations after the 9/11 attacks. To be fair, they were brief and mostly Palestinian-driven, but the images are indelible.

So there is no question that most Americans are a bit uneasy about the turbulence in the Muslim world. That may not be fair, but it’s reality.

Mansur: Ignoring Muslim-on-Muslim Violence Undercuts U.S. …
Jun 15, 2010 …Muslim-on-Muslim Genocide

Few Americans realize that the most victims of Islamism have been Muslims, Mansur argues. As an example, the Algerian civil war that began in 1992, killed more than 150,000 people in a fight pitting the nation’s military regime against Islamist radicals. In Darfur, estimates range from 200,000 to 500,000 dead and millions more driven from their homes.

In East Pakistan (now Bangladesh), an estimated 500,000 to 1 million people were slaughtered in 1971 by the rampaging Pakistani Army. Mansur refers to it as “one of the great genocides that Muslims committed against Muslims.”

In this case, “the Pakistani military was killing their own citizens, and none of these people, by the way, have been brought to [judgment.]” The perpetrators of these crimes are “still running around in the West,” Mansur said. “So you see the barbarity…the savagery, with which a Muslim state treats its own population.”

In Mansur’s view, The East Pakistan genocide bears disturbing similarities to today’s events in Darfur. “Half a million or more people have been killed in western Sudan, and there is not a peep about that,” Mansur said. “There’s a preoccupation, whenever the issue of violence or ethnic cleansing and war crimes…are talked about – the West is focused on the Arab-Israeli conflict.”

But groups like CAIR show little interest in discussing the mass murder of Muslims in Darfur, Pakistan or anywhere else. According to Mansur, when the topic is raised, Islamists typically assert that the figures have been “inflated” by “enemies of the Muslims” such as Hindus or Zionists.

“In all of these cases, there is not a whit of taking responsibility, ” Mansur said. Instead of using the Arab-Israeli conflict as a way to put pressure on Israel, the international community should take action to bring to justice “these criminals who were responsible for the genocide, whether it is in Darfur or Pakistan.”

“There is no statute of limitation…for crimes against humanity,” he noted.

Mansur said he sees some signs of positive change in Islamabad’s response to the recent wave of terrorist attacks by the Taliban. The reality of suicide bombings in Pakistan’s major cities is making it increasingly difficult for government officials and intellectuals to argue that terrorism results from India’s machinations or “blowback” from the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Pakistani elites are coming to the realization that their jihadist terror problem is homegrown. A growing number of voices are acknowledging “that we have to take responsibility, that [jihadism] is what we have nurtured and created,” Mansur said. “I see that as a hopeful sign. I think that if Pakistan is going to be saved from its own tendency to self-destruction, that these voices have to be reinforced and given support, which means the building of a civil society and the downgrading of the military side.”

Jihad by the Numbers

Edward Cline

In his masterful second volume study of Hitler, Hitler, 1936-1945: Nemesis, Ian Kershaw discusses a phenomenon called “working towards the Führer,” in which every Nazi Party organization, member and office automatically, with little or no prompting or prodding by Hitler or his inner circle, worked to realize the ends and policies articulated by Hitler before and after he rose to power in 1933. It was automatic, because to disagree with or have reservations about a single, even minor aspect of Nazi ideology was to court reprimand, censure, dismissal, or even death. Agreement with those ends and policies was nearly a secondary motivation behind any Party member’s actions. He was compelled to act, regardless of the consequences. The ideology commanded it, and the Führer’s will and vision were irresistible, because there was little or no self to resist them.

As Party members who disagreed or expressed reservations were dismissed, or abandoned the Party, fled, committed suicide, or were murdered, monsters of the first rank filled the vacuum to formulate and enact policies that more completely “worked towards the Führer,” monsters such as Heinrich Himmler, Hermann Göring, Joachim von Ribbentrop, and Joseph Goebbels. When all the checks within the Party against total irrationality in domestic and foreign policies were removed or fell into disrepute, total irrationality took over totally.

But the average Party member strived to satisfy Hitler, regardless of how minor or major the action and regardless if it stood to be acknowledged or rewarded. To be a true, loyal, above-suspicion Nazi meant the near total surrender of one’s ego, mind and self, and to substitute them with Hitler’s own.

Of course, an Ellsworth Toohey might say that the joke was on the rank-and-file Nazi: he would claim that Hitler was essentially selfless, and that what little mind Hitler possessed was founded on what he thought his followers and “the people” wanted and expected of him as prophet and dictator. Ayn Rand, in The Fountainhead, describes that phenomenon through Toohey:

“…A world of obedience and of unity. A world where the thought of each man will not be his own, but an attempt to guess the thought in the brain of his neighbor, who’ll have no thought of his own but an attempt to guess the thought of the next neighbor who’ll have no thought – and so on…around the globe. Since all must serve all. A world in which man will not work for so innocent an incentive as money, but for that headless monster – prestige. The approval of his fellows – their good opinion – the opinion of men who’ll be allowed to hold no opinion. An octopus, all tentacles and no brain….An average drawn upon zeroes….” (1).

It is no accident or fluke of history that Islamists – Hamas, Hezbollah, Ahmadinejad, Saudi Wahhabists, the whole ménage of Islamists and Jihadists — admire both Hitler and Nazism. Their hatred of Jews and Israel is merely one facet of that pathology. As Nazism required the complete submission of the individual to Party ideology and an unthinking, unwavering deference to Hitler, Islam requires the complete submission of the individual to Islam and an unthinking, unwavering deference to Allah and Mohammed. Islamists have long recognized that both the method and the ends of Nazism were in complete agreement and practical accord with their own. The “mechanics” of a functioning Islam differ in no fundamental way from the “mechanics” of a functioning Nazism or any other brand of total collectivism, as described by Toohey above. (2)

(One historical note: Kershaw points out that Hitler once entertained the idea of solving the “Jewish Question” by helping to establish a Jewish state in Palestine, where all German and other European Jews would be forcibly “relocated” and presumably – hopefully – perish in a wasteland of desert and hostile Arabs. He dismissed the idea because he feared that such a state could possibly become a political adversary dedicated to destroying Germany. Historically, the ironic joke is on Hitler. He destroyed Germany and the Jews turned the wasteland into a productive, prosperous garden.)

With that in mind, here is a set of significant statistics forwarded to me by a friend. It charts the progression of Islamic Jihad, both soft and hard methods, whose purpose is to establish a global caliphate, especially in the West.

It begins by stating:

“Islam is not a religion nor is it a cult. It is a complete system.”

I would disagree. It is definitely a religion and a political system combined. Any attempt to “separate” mosque and state would emasculate Islam. I have argued this point in past commentaries and will not dwell on it here. And cults, if not opposed by reason and kept by it on the far fringes of a civilized society, have a tendency to become religions that may become state policies. Ecology was once a “cult.” Today we have the Environmental Protection Agency.

It goes on to state:

“Islam has religious, legal, political, economic and military components. The religious component is a beard for all the other components.”

Or a mask, or a ruse. But no one should doubt how seriously Islamists and Muslims in general take the religious component. Islam is a barbaric but fully integrated system, perhaps more lethally integrated than was Nazism.

“Islamization occurs when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their so-called ‘religious rights.’”

I would defend anyone’s right to believe in Islam. The question is: How could one truly practice Islam without declaring Jihad on others? After a Muslim has won the “internal struggle” or Jihad within himself, the next step is to wage it against all others. To refrain from that part of Jihad is to risk the accusation of being a slacker or pseudo-Muslim. From the first stage to the last, all such effort constitutes “working towards the Prophet and Allah.”

“When politically correct and culturally diverse societies agreed to ‘the reasonable’ Muslims demands for their ‘religious rights,’ they also get the other components under the table. Here’s how it works (percentages source: CIA: The World Fact Book, 2007).

“As long as the Muslim population remains around 1% of any given country it will be regarded as a peace-loving minority and not as a threat to anyone….”

Here is where it becomes interesting. Note throughout the exponential scale of Islamic influence as the percentage of Muslim population per country increases. Comments in square brackets are my corrective interjections.

United States: 1.0
Australia: 1.5
Canada: 1.9
China: 1.0-2.0
Italy: 1.5
Norway: 1.8

“At 2% and 3% they [Muslims] begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs.”

Denmark: 2.0
Germany: 3.7
United Kingdom: 2.7
Spain: 4.0
Italy: 4.6

“From 5% on they [Muslims] exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. They will push for the introduction of halal (“clean” by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature it on their shelves – along with threats for failure to comply (United States).”

France: 8.0
Philippines: 5.0
Sweden: 5.0
Switzerland: 4.3
The Netherlands: 5.5
Trinidad & Tobago: 5.8

“At this point, they [Muslims] will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves under Sharia, or Islamic law. The ultimate goal of Islam is not to convert the world but to establish Sharia law over the entire world.

“When Muslims reach 10% of the population, they will increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions (Paris – car burning). Any non-Muslim action that offends Islam will result in uprisings and threats (Amsterdam, Denmark – Mohammed cartoons, murder of Theo van Gogh).”

Guyana: 10.0
India: 13.4
Israel: 16.0
Kenya: 10.0
Russia: 10.0-15.0

The one anomaly in this set of statistics is Israel, which has not experienced uprisings and threats of violence. Its Arab or Muslim population enjoys equal political rights with Jewish Israelis. The suicide bombings and rocket attacks that have killed hundreds have been perpetrated by outsiders.

“After reaching 20% [of a population] expect hair-trigger rioting, Jihad militia formations, sporadic killings and church and synagogue burning:

Ethiopia: 32.8

“After 40% you will find widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks and ongoing militia warfare:”

Bosnia: 40.0
Chad: 53.1
Lebanon: 59.7

“From 60% you may expect unfettered persecution of non-believers and other religions, sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon and jizya, the tax placed on [conquered] infidels:”

Albania: 70.0
Malaysia: 60.4
Qatar: 77.5
Sudan: 70.0

“After 80%, expect state-run ethnic cleansing and genocide:”

Bangladesh: 83.0
Egypt: 90.0
Gaza: 98.7
Indonesia: 86.1
Iran: 98.0
Iraq: 97.0
Jordan: 92.0
Morocco: 98.7
Pakistan: 97.0
Palestine: 99.0
Syria: 90.0
Tajikistan: 90.0
Turkey: 99.8
United Arab Emirates: 96.0

I question the inclusion of “Palestine” in this set. “Palestine” simply means space occupied by stateless “Palestinians” in Gaza and the West Bank, and is the name of the state which Islamists wish to replace Israel, once it is destroyed. Turkey, after decades of having a secular, non-religious government, is beginning to turn “religious,” and seems to be yearning for the kind of Muslim government that cleansed the country in 1915 of non-Muslim Armenians in a genocide that predates the Holocaust.

“100% will usher in the peace of ‘Dar-es-Salaam’ – the Islamic House of Peace’ [more correctly, dar-al-Islam, or Land of Islam]. There is supposed to be peace because everybody is a Muslim.”

Afghanistan: 100.0
Saudi Arabia: 100.0
Somalia: 100.0
Yemen: 99.9

“Of course, that’s not the case. To satisfy their blood lust, Muslims then start killing each other for a variety of reasons.

“‘Before I was nine I had learned the basic canon of Arab life. It was me against my brother; me and my brother against our father; my family against my cousins and the clan; the clan against the tribe; and the tribe against the world and all of us against the infidel.’ Leon Uris, The Haj.

“It is good to remember that in many, many countries, such as France, the Muslim populations are centered around ghettos based on their ethnicity. Muslims do not integrate into the community at large. Therefore, they exercise more power than their national average[s] would indicate.

“Adapted from Dr. Peter Hammond’s book, Slavery, Terrorism and Islam: The Historical Roots and Contemporary Threat.”

Hammond’s book is sponsored by the Frontline Fellowship, a Christian organization, and the book itself was published by Christian Liberty Books. The Frontline website contains several endorsements of the book by clerics and missionaries. The quoted paragraphs above were “adapted” from Hammond’s book (by whom, is unknown), and not very professionally. The statistics themselves were compiled by the CIA and used in the book.

For a detailed exposé of Islam’s Marxist affiliation – as distinguished from its symbiosis with Nazism – see Daniel Pipes’ “[The Islamist-Leftist] Allied Menace,” of July 15th.

So, regardless of the book’s Christian orientation, the statistics Hammond uses to cite the various Muslim populations in each country can be taken as reliable, as well as the prefatory remarks before each set of percentages. There is certainly a demonstrable and observable corollary between a country’s Muslim population and the influence it begins to have or has had on its government, politics and culture.

The Islamists are coolly “working towards the Prophet and Allah” as shown in the numbers above. Meanwhile, our policymakers appear to be a succession of compliant, pragmatic, non-judgmental zeroes blindly working towards the conquest and extinction of the West.

Christianity’s impact on world politics: not by might, nor by power
Volume 24 of Major concepts in politics and political theory, by Kurt W. Jefferson, [P. Lang] 2002 [ISBN 0820461164, 9780820461168, Page 18
His research suggests that between 1992 and 1994 Muslims were involved in more conflicts around the world than any other group of peoples or civilizations. According to one study, Muslims were involved in nine out of twelve intercivilizational conflicts with non-Muslims. Another study found that in 1993-1994 Muslims were involved in twenty-six of fifty ethnic conflicts around the world. Finally, in 1993, the New York Times found Muslims fighting with other Muslims and non-Muslims in forty-eight locales where fifty-nine ethnic conflicts underway… that Islamic societies are among the most violent on the globe, with Muslims engaged in two-thirds to three-fourths

Among the highlighted ‘problems’ with mainstream Islam

September 20, 2010

10 Highlighted problems with mainstream Islam

[clarity and concerns are not “bigotry”]

1) DEHUMANIZATION

Apes and pigs, the dehumanization of non-Muslims, Christians as pigs and Jews as apes.[1][2][3][4][5] (Or as some Islamic cleric of the ‘Bali bombing’ called non-Muslims: “worms, snakes and maggots.”[6][7]

2) TERRORISM

Had the mainstream Islam really eject its radicals, the Jihadists wouldn’t have the motivation to go on, Why else is there Islamic terrorism still active in so many parts of the world? The half-way condemnation, and almost always accompanied by a “but”, but the west does this or that argument is still on – after 9 Years from the 9/11 Islamic massacre in 2001.[8][9]

3) SHARIA: OPPRESSION AND ANNIHILATING THE INFIDEL

The campaign, hidden or open for implementation for Sharia law. In Sharia, besides the legal basis for the war against the infidel,[10] women are subjucated, which explaines how top Islamic cleric of Australia called non-Muslim women plain “meat.”[11]

4) HONOR KILLING

One of the great imports from the Islamic culture.[12][13]5) JIHAD & INTIMIDATIONS BY “MODERATES”The so called moderate Muslim leaders that the best they can do is intimidate the west to give in to their Islamic expansion, or else… the radicals will be unleashed.[14][15] The hidden Jihad.

6) SELF-MADE VICTIMHODD

The wide sympathy and support in mainstream Islam to the Palestinian,[16][17][18][19][20] Hezbollah,[21] Taliban,[22] Al Qeada in Iraq tactics of using civilians (indirect murder of their own people) so that the west looks bad. (All of the above causalties are seen by mainstream Islam as nothing else but the ‘victims of the west’).

7) ISLAMIC APARTHEID / BIGOTRY

With all the ‘criticism” of the west, the Islamic world is still practicing Apartheid (in the real sense), religious and gender wise.[23][24][25][26] In the intolerant Muslim world all non-Muslims are either at an inferior status or worse. The Christian minority has dwindeled in Lebanon[27] and among the Jordanian / Palestinian Arabs[28][29][30][31][32] while Muslim population have increased, persection. Islamic bigotry’s also at the roots of conflicts, including in the Sudan[33][34] and in Israel/Palestine[35] (in the intolerant Arab – Islamic world[36][37] against the “other”[38]).

8)}WORLD DOMINATION – GOAL

The open or silent goal by Jihadists, yet backed by so many in mainstream Islam, towards a Caliphate – a theocratic Islamic dictatorship based on the Sharia (religious Islamic law).[39][40][41][42][43][44]

9) A TOTALITARIAN WORLD

The Arab-Islamic world is totalitarian[45][46][47][48] – oppressive, even Lebanon that is supposedly the real democracy in that world, the terror Islamic group Hezbollah has immense power. (Iraq is yet to bee seen). Minorities are in even worse shape.

10) MOST CONFLICTS ALL OVER THE GLOBE ARE BY MUSLIMS

Draw a map and point to the conflicts,[49] then try to detach most of it from Muslims. Here’s a partial list: Russia. Somalia. Sudan. Nigeria. Lebanon. Israel. Iraq. Afghanistan. Pakistan. India. Kashmir. Thailand. Philippines. China.

How radical Islam makes one: a bigot religiously – a racist ethnically

June 15, 2010

How radical Islam makes one: a bigot religiously – a racist ethnically

UNIQUENESS OF ISLAM'S INTOLERANCE

While Christianity, ever since the termination of the Crusades and the Spanish inquisitions has no plans to "convert by force" anybody else, nor is ever Buddhism or Judaism, Islam –on the other hand– even modern day Islam, is about to Islamize the world, with any means possible.
When (thank God) not "yet" accomplished, the Islamists bigotry has a few levels, the "people of the book" a.k.a. Christians & Jews are "allowed" to stay as an inferior class [Dhimmis], the other non-Muslims are "totally" Kuffars (Kaffirs) and have no 'validity' at all under Islam.
Radical Islam has a force of bigotry on its own, without "conventional" racism, however, as this "anti the others" and "the others should submit to us-Islam" theme, ideology grow, so do all intolerance faces.

(Contrary to propagandists, anti terror operations by the west such as the US, UK & others have nothing to do with “Christian fundamentalism” (not even under George W. Bush) as some would like to suggest, but about safety.
Reminder, the only side in the M.E. conflict that uses religion for violence is the Arab-Islamic side the routine slogan is: 'Allah u Akbar' and "Khaybar", the Israeli side which is by in large secular, especially its army, is motivated by one and only goal, security from genocidal homicidal attacks.)

ISLAMIC BIGOTRY AND ETHNIC RACISM

Islamic bigotry has been more noticeably, primarily against non-Muslims, on "religious" ground solely, however, as a contentious movement of radical Islam that it is, instilling the "belief" in its followers that they're the "true Muslims," (and everybody else shall go to he-ll – literally), it gives way to, and "helps" in sharpening ethnic and racial differences, the victim, other ethnic group, can be non-Muslim or even Muslim.

The justification of racial violence is often covered by Islamic rationalization.
(for example, the preference of 'white' over 'black' as supported by Islamic verses. According to the literal Arabic translation of Sura 3:106, 107, “on Judgment Day, only people with white faces will be saved. People with black faces will be damned. Allah resembles an Arab.” –ibn Sa’d, vol.1, p.2.
“Prophet is to be of Quraysh stock and of white complexion.” ibn Sa’d, vol.1, p.95-96, Sahih Muslim, 20.4483. “The Prophet said, ‘Let the negro slave of Dinar perish. And if he is pierced with a thorn, let him not find anyone to take it out for him…. If he [the black slave] asks for anything it shall not be granted, and if he needs intercession [to get into paradise], his intercession will be denied.’”Bukhari:V4B52N137 .
Abul Kasem elaborated in an article titled ‘Allah’s White Faces,’ and Dr. Azuma’s book ‘The Legacy of Arab-Islam in Africa’ sheds some light on support Arabs find in Islam to dominate blacks, he provides several examples of Islam’s hatred of Blacks. There is the example in the hadith in which an Ethiopian woman laments her racial inferiority to Muhammad, who consoles her by saying, “In Paradise, the whiteness of the Ethiopian will be seen over the stretch of a thousand years.”
Another hadith quotes Muhammad thus: “Do not bring black into your pedigree.” In fact, the Arabic word for slave, “Abd,” became equated with Africans and Blacks with the advent of Islam. Which is why, when an Arab looks at a black African, what he sees is a slave.”all this can help to understand how Arab-Muslims feel “OK” to dehumanize blacks or at least consider them no more than “abid” and “zorka.” The icon of radical Islam – Osama Bin Laden, in a discussion with the Sudanese-American novelist, Kola Boof, in Morocco in 1996 said, “when next you meet an Arab, you should ask what is the Arabic word for slave, you’ll discover that the words are the same “abeed.”

Or anti-Jewish racism by Arabs, is backed by preferring to select those verses from the Quran where Jews have "sinned," [For instance, that dreadful militant Islamic concept of apes & pigs –Christians are pigs, Jews are apes– is being used repeatedly in Arab Palestinian, Hezbollah & S. Arabian media and in religious, educational institutions as part of demonization & fascist-dehumanization of the Jewish people] as oppose to the sources that praise the Jews [Banu Israil] and linking the land Israel to them).

Radical Islam makes/motivates you to be a ["better"] racist.

See some examples of how the religious bigotry is embedded into the ethnic racism, how it enhances it or even at fault for creating the ‘racism’ in the first place.

Turkey, Ottoman Empire: anti-Assyrian, anti-Greek, anti-Armenian

Victims of Islamic Turks in numbers: 700,000 Assyrians, 1.4 Million Greeks, 1.5 Million Armenians.
Genocide of Assyrians and Armenians in Ottoman Empire Within the First World War in the territory of Ottoman Turkey where were living about 1 million Assyrians with common language, culture and national traditions, had been organized mass destruction of Christian peoples. Together with 1,5 million Armenians have been brutally killed and tortured from 500 to 750 thousand Assyrians.
Ottoman Assyrians fled to Russia, Iran, Aleppo and Jerusalem in wake of the genocide. in the era between 1915-1919: 700000 Assyrians (including the "Forgotten Tragedy in Helwa" the massacre of the Assyrians by the Kurds in the year 1915 (Sayfo) and the massacres of Assyrians in Iran and Turkey) perished.

Greek Genocide 1914-23. During the years 1914-1923, whilst the attention of the international community focused on the turmoil and aftermath of the First World War, the indigenous Greek minority of the Ottoman Empire, the Republic of Turkey's predecessor, was subjected to a centrally-organized, premeditated and systematic policy of annihilation. This genocide, orchestrated to ensure an irreversible end to the collective existence of Turkey 's Greek populace, was perpetrated by two consecutive governments; the Committee for Union and Progress, later better known as the Young Turks, and the nationalist Kemalists led by Mustafa Kemal 'Ataturk'. A lethal combination of labor brigades, internal deportations and massacres conducted throughout Anatolian Turkey resulted in the death of 1,400,000 Greeks.
The 1915 Armenian genocide was lead by Islamic banner of "Allah Akbar" calls, but came into ethnic hatred as well, the mass ethnic cleansing (of the Armenians as well as of the Greeks) was reported by the British at that time.
It still lingers on with stubborn Islamic Turkey's objection to define the massacre of 1.5 Christian Armenians as genocide, and threatens with severing relation whoever disobeys its "view." (as a result of the goverment’s led atmosphere, a prominent Turkish journalist of Armenian heritage Hrant Dink was murdered).
Some of the expression of this hatred is still resulted –among other– in divided Cypress, today, a major issue in Europeans' demands of a 'change in Turkey' if they're to join the E. U.

Sunni: anti-Shiite

The immense hatred and mass violence which Sunni icons like (Iraqi) Saddam Hussein and (Jordanian) al-Zarqawi have been manifesting against the Iraqi Shiites, which is a different Islamic sect as well as (usually in Iraq) a separate ethnic group.
As the judge began reading the death sentence (for massacring ethnic Shiites and ethnic Kurds) Saddam Hussein shouted out “Allahu Akbar!”
The same goes to Saddam Hussein's war on Iran, the hated Persians, one of the three Allah should not have made according to Baathi racism, his infamous uncle's (“Three whom God should not have created: Persians, Jews and flies, by Khairallah Tulfah”) statement published in official Iraqi media – was an expression of deep Arab racism against Persians.
Saddam tied himself to Sa’ad ibn Abi Waqas, an early Arab warrior who brought Islam to Iran.

Iraq: Anti-Assyrian

The ancient Christian Assyrians have been suffering from the Arabs, like the Simele massacre (by Islamic Arab and Kurds), and continued on (at least) until the end of the reign of Saddam, they also fell victim in the anti-Kurd chemical attack in 1982.

Iraq: Anti-Kurd

Saddam Hussein motivated his people in the anti- Kurd campaign by Islamic themes.

Iran: anti-Arab & other supremacy

Islamic Iran oppresses its entire population, yet, reserves a “special” persecution to all minorities including: Ethnic minorities such as Azeris, Arabs, Kurds, Turkomans and Baluchis.

The notion that "we are the true Muslims" has much to do with the lap over ethnic hatred of other Muslims like the Arabs, manifested itself in the Iran-Iraq war. Iran currently very much after its Arab (Ahwazi) minority, many facing executions.

The fascist leader of the WW 2 era: Reza Shah Pahlavi, was referred to as "the Mussolini of Islam."
His fascist, racist legacy (embedded into a mythology of Persian – "Aryans") are cherished by many Islamic Iranians today.

Lebanon, Palestinians: anti-Maronite

The Christian Maronite, a non-Arab ethnic group, (considered to be the –pre-Arab invasion– indigenous Lebanese), fell victims to Muslims, especially in the 1970. Since 1975, about 150,000 Christians were killed, entire Christian villages were erased and their populations were ethnically cleansed. A highlighted massacre is the one in Damour in 1976, by the Palestinian Arabs (Arafat's PLO) with local & other Muslims, carried out with calls of "Allahu Akbar" and "Let us offer a Holocaust to Muhammad."

[New York Times editor Tom Friedman, in his famous book From Beirut to Jerusalem, explains the motives of the Phalangists killing Palestinian-Arabs in Sabra Shatila 1982: "The Phalangists wanted to avenge not only Bashir’s death, but also past tribal killings of their own people by Palestinian guerrillas, such as the February 1976 massacre by Palestinians of Christian villagers in Damour."]

Pakistan: (Indian) Bangladeshis, Kashmirs

Bangladesh.
The Pakistani Islamic genocide in Bangladesh 1971 resulted in three Million victims.
In 1971, Bangladesh, then called East Pakistan, was part of a geographical monstrosity created by the British in 1947. Pakistan, as created by the British, consisted of West Pakistan and East Pakistan, separated by the vast expanse of the Indian land mass in the middle. East and West Pakistan spoke different languages and were culturally distinct. East Pakistan accounted for the majority of Pakistan's population, yet it was economically exploited and politically marginalized by West Pakistan.
Bengalis, the people of East Pakistan, were also persecuted for speaking their native language and for being either Muslims who had converted from Hinduism or for being Hindus. Pakistan, translated as 'The Land of the Pure', was intolerant of Bengalis because they were not 'pure' Muslims.

Kashmir.
An estimated 400,000 Kashmiri original people, constituting 99% of the total population of Hindus living in Muslim majority area of the Kashmir Valley, were forcibly pushed out of the Valley by Muslim terrorists, trained in Pakistan, since the end of 1989. They have been forced to live the life of exiles in their own country, outside their homeland, by unleashing a systematic campaign of terror, murder, loot and arson. Islamists succeeded in 'cleansing' the valley of this ancient ethno-religious community. This community with a history of thousands of years, is fighting a grim battle to save itself from becoming extinct as a distinct race and culture.

Indonesia: anti-Chinese

The Chinese minority in Indonesia have periodically been targets of mob violence. Some 100,000 Chinese were expelled from the country in 1959, while thousands of Chinese were attacked and many killed during the 1965–1966 bloodbath that followed the fall of President Sukarno. Many Chinese were accused of being Communists and with maintaining secret ties to the mainland. Anti-Chinese rioting also occurred in 1973 and 1980.
Under Suharto, Chinese were also forbidden from careers in state-sponsored academia, serving in the military, and the civil service. They were forced to carry identity cards and the use of Chinese characters and celebrations, were banned.
During the violent upheavals that lead to Suharto's downfall in May 1998, some 1,200 Chinese were believed killed. Thousands of businesses were looted, prompting tens of thousands of Chinese fled overseas. In addition, billions of dollars was transferred out of the country.
Rioting and skirmishes have increased in 1998, some of them the expression of a general, ill-defined desire for "reformasi" directed at the government and the country's worsening poverty. But in a number of troubled regions around the archipelago, the violence has focused on long-simmering ethnic animosities and religious bigotry. (source: Pearson education 2007 – mostly).

East Timor
One of the notorious Islamic Indonesian crimes on Chinese was in E. Timor, it was very bloody and shocking in brutality, including mass rape, massacres.

Maluku Islands
In 2000, the Maluku [Malucca, the Mollucas] Islands' Christians & Chinese saw horrific massacres and mass rape by Muslims. There are gruesome tales of raping Chinese girls by the Islamic "Lashkar Jihad" (Jihad Army, founded in April 2000).
1,700 people were murdered in just one year alone (2000).

Attackers left a sign: “Long live Moslems ! Islam is Supreme ! Get rid of the
Chinese!” (Translated from the writings on the temple
gate, January, 1997. by Fica.org)

From: Agenda: a journal of policy analysis and reform, Volume 10 by Australian National University. Faculty of Economics and Commerce, p. 16: "misuse the concept of jihad to justify the use of violence against Christians and ethnic Chinese citizens."

China: anti-Han Chinese

Ethnic – There have been outbreak of violence in years between Muslim separatists and Han Chinese in W. China. July 2009 had a peak of a spasm of attacks by Muslim Uighurs separatists against Han Chinese, the ethnic majority which resulted in 140 dead.
Religious – The Chinese government also accuses these Muslims of plotting terror attacks (including on the 2008 Olympic games).

Egypt: Anti-Copts

Today's Egyptians, are by in large Arabs, not authentic Egyptians, the indigenous are the Christian Copts who have been through persecution ever since the Muslim brotherhood rose in that country.
It grew under Nasser, as well as under Saadat the more these Egyptian leaders gave the Islamists' a hold.

Nigeria: anti-Christian Tarok

Nigeria has seen bloodshed between Muslims & Christians, the Violence between Muslim-ethnic Hausa and the Christian ethnic-Tarok fighters reached a peak in 2005, it carries a 'religious' theme too.
At the eruption of March 2010 violence where 500 have been killed, the NYTimes called it: "Religious and Ethnic Violence." Compass Direct News reported of Muslims killing Christians while singing 'Allah Akbar.'

Arabs in Africa: anti-Africans

Slavery by Arabs (Arab master race) in Africa has been officially limited, still there are reports of continuing of this practice, especially in Sudan, Mauritania.
Current Arab anti-black genocide, mass rape by al-Bashir government and his allied Janjaweeds (described as an Arab supremacist) is stemming from Libya's Muammar Gadhafi’s bloody legacy in Chad, Sudan in the 1970’s to convert the African region into a pan Arab-Islamic state, in 1981 Libyan supported Sudanese group al-Tajammu' al-‘Arabi, the "Arab alliance,"  openly injected racism.
Both culprit; Gadhafi & al-Bashir have been pushing for an Islamic rule.
In Mauritania, indigenous decry racism and suffering from the oppressive Arab rulers.
Al-Bashir and his Arab-supremacist gangs have been committing atrocities, genocide 1983-2009, Al-Bashir has seen moral support by the Arab league and by the "religious" Islamic Iran & Hezbollah.
Douglas Farah wrote: “There are two places where the Muslim Brotherhood exercises governmental power: Sudan and the Palestinian territories.”

Gulf Arabs: anti-Asians

The ecstasy that the tycoons, filthy-oil-rich of the Arab gulf in feeling of leading an 'Islamic empire,' gives them more than just a sense of pride, it brings out the ugly Arab supremacy, so prevalent, especially in that region.
The enslavement and miss treatment of Asians (mainly Indians, Pakistanis and Malaysians) is very wide, the mistreatment includes Asian maids and construction slave-labors.

Arab world: anti-Jewish

The founder of the 'middle east conflict' (which is basically anti-Jewish bigotry by Arab-Muslims), was that infamous Arab-Muslim leader, the Mufti (Haj Amin al-Husseini), who incited the Arab Muslim population since the 1920’s. Highlighted is the 1929 massacre in Hebron, with calls "Kill the Jews wherever you find them, this pleases Allah,"  and met with Hitler in 1941, thus, the anti-Jewish hatred – anti-Israel campaign has since been, both: racial & religious, by Arab Muslims.
In fact, Arab racism against Jews, is boosted by Islamic interpertations. It all “fits in place” as the vile dehumanizing anti-Semitic cartoons flow the Arab press, some almost copied from the Nazi Stumer.

Bosnians: Anti-Christian Serbs

That Mufti, also led in 1943 a Nazi Arab-Muslim SS division to commit crimes against Christians & Jews in Yugoslavia.
The Bosnian Muslim Nazis had a great "opportunity" to give their historic ethnic hatred outlet under the Islamic leader.

Arab & black Muslims: Anti-white

Louis Farrakhan's Nation of Islam is infamous for being anti white and anti-Jewish.
You can almost say it with certainty that there's more anti-white racism among blacks that are Muslims.
The french based Islamic-black "Tribu-ka" has been known for anti-Jewish racism.
Many Arabs have expressed anti white racism, like the mass rape, targeting white Christian girls by Arab Lebanese Muslims (in 2002), it has been revealed their Islamic and racial motivation.
Top Australian Islamic cleric, the mufti al-Hilali (who also said that the September 11 attack is Allah’s work against the oppressor, insulted women, defended gang rapists and claiming Muslims had more right to live in Australia than the Anglo-Saxsons) spoke out in January, 2007 against the "English race."  quote "The Western people are the biggest liars and oppressors and especially the English race."
In March 2005, (Muslim) black and Arabs attacked white, French demonstrators with sentiment of a desire to "take revenge on whites."

It give a whole refreshed meaning of Islamic-fascism (Islamofascism).

May 16, 2010

As Obama is to be heading to Indonesia, let’s remember the “beauty” and “moderation” of that country, or better, yet, what Obama will NOT talk about during his trip to the most populated Muslim country.

With the latest arrests, the Indonesian authorities believe they have rounded up the majority of those involved in paramilitary training in Aceh, where experts believe the Jemaah Islamiah (JI) terror network has made its new base. Since police discovered and raided a training camp in the mountains of Indonesia’s westernmost province in February, they have captured more than 60 suspected militants and shot 13 in follow-up raids and arrests.
