‘PALESTINE’ – APARTHEID

The Arab Muslim REAL Apartheid in ‘Palestine’ authority

The Brownshirts of Our Time – Phyllis Chesler
The largest practitioner of apartheid in the world is Islam, which practices both gender and religious apartheid. In terms of gender apartheid, Palestinian women – and all women who live under Islam – are oppressed by “honor” killings, forced veiling, segregation, stonings to death for alleged adultery, seclusion/sequestration, female genital mutilation, polygamy, outright slavery, and sexual slavery. Women have few civil, legal, or human rights under Islam.
Today, the entire Middle East is judenrein. Jews cannot become citizens of Jordan, Egypt, or Saudi Arabia, yet no one accuses those nations of apartheid.

Once again we hear criticism of democracy in Israel from the Independent, and a call to suppress minority opinion and deprive it of representation and power. Once again the Independent chides Israelis for not believing in the “peace process”, even though it has led to unprecedented carnage and death in the streets, restaurants and schools of their country since 1993. And once again the Independent smears and defames Jews who oppose surrender of their rights in order to satisfy the vanity of an ignorant US President – a President who believed that his GI uncle liberated Auschwitz, no less.

Instead of plotting to cheat the Jews, the EU should support Jewish rights, and tell the Arabs that ethnic cleansing of Jews from the West Bank is illegal and won’t be tolerated. Creating an apartheid judenrein West Bank Palestinian state, which current EU policy is working towards, will not lead to peace, but will just whet the Arab appetite for more war.

Meanwhile Israel today is called ‘”apartheid” and “racist” but the PA and a future Palestinian state will not be? After all the Jews will have deserved everything they get for their 100+ year struggle to defend themselves and find a few thousand square kilometres of land where they can exercise self-determination in their ancestral homeland.

No one will cry for the Israeli Jews as their remnants make their way to America and Europe where they will face a growing Islamist threat and once again become a persecuted minority in the lands of their great grandparents or swell the former “Israel lobby” which will now be honestly called the “Jewish lobby”.

HIT SQUADS UNLEASHED

[July 1997]

“Any Palestinian who sells land in violation of this law will be considered to have committed national treason and will receive the maximum punishment.

“Any foreigner who violates this law will be prosecuted on charges of harming the national interest and will receive a life sentence.

“Any past or future deals with the occupiers concerning properties in Palestine are considered null and void.” –

Excerpts from the Property Law for Foreigners, under consideration by the Palestinian Legislative Council, outlawing land sales to “the government of occupation, its civilian and military institutions and its individual citizens”.
“Imagine the world-wide denunciation had it been a warning of execution to Jews from Israel, for selling land to Palestinians. America and Europe erupt in justified fury.

…And so the spectre of semi-official deathsquads has come to the PA self-rule areas, conjuring up memories of apartheid South Africa, the former Yugoslavia–or indeed, of PLO-controlled Lebanon.

The campaign began on May 4, when Yasser Arafat’s “Justice Minister”, Freih Abu Meddein, announced the PA would start to enforce an old Jordanian law, which made the selling of land to Jews a capital offence. (Jordan rescinded the statute when it signed a 1994 peace treaty with Israel.)

Four days later, news broke that a prime property on Jerusalem’s Mount of Olives–in a part of the city Palestinians want for the capital of a future independent state–had been sold to a Jewish businessman, and then donated to a Jewish religious seminary.

Ahmed Tibi, an Israeli Arab politician and Arafat aide, reacted to the sale during a radio interview by warning: “Whoever sells his house to Jews, has sold his soul to Satan and has done a despicable act.”

With the groundwork thus laid by the Arab leaders, and amid angry reactions to the law from Israelis and some US Congressmen–although not yet the State Department–the violence was set to begin.

Seventy-year-old Bashiti, an Israeli citizen who lived in eastern Jerusalem, was reportedly involved in the closing of the Mount of Olives land deal.

On May 8, he was lured to a meeting at a Jerusalem hotel by a woman who told him she had buyers for two houses in Ram’Allah he was trying to sell. From there it appears he was abducted.

That evening, he was seen at the Ram’Allah offices of Arafat’s personal security unit, Force 17.

Five hours later, in the words of an Israeli official, “the hospital in Ram’Allah telephoned his wife and told her she could come and pick up his body.”

He had been found dead, with his hands bound, his skull crushed, and his mouth sealed with plastic tape.

Pouring salt on the grief-stricken family’s wound, the PA-installed Islamic mufti of Jerusalem, Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, refused to allow Bashiti a Muslim funeral: “Such a person is not a Muslim and according to our religion we shouldn’t pray over the body in a mosque. He should not be buried in a Muslim cemetery.”

The body of Abu Sarah, the second man suspected of selling land to Israelis, was found in Ram’Allah on May 16. He had been shot several times in the head.

Who is the Apartheid state?
Palestinian gets death sentence for selling land to Jews
A Palestinian military court has sentenced a man to death by hanging for selling land to an Israeli company.
Land sales are considered treason by the Palestinians because of their long-running dispute with the Israelis, however the sentence is unlikely to be implemented.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas routinely withholds the required approval for executions. Several others are on death row as suspected informants for Israel.
The sentence was handed down Tuesday in a military court in the West Bank city of Hebron after two days of closed-door hearings.

PA: Death penalty for those who sell land to Jews
By KHALED ABU TOAMEH
Palestinian Authority,  Jerusalem,  Salaam Fayad
The Palestinian Authority has issued yet another warning to Palestinians against selling their homes or properties to Jews, saying those who violate the order would be accused of “high treason” – a charge that carries the death penalty.
The latest warning was issued on Wednesday by the Chief [Islamic] Judge of the Palestinian Authority, Sheikh Tayseer Rajab Tamimi, who reminded the Palestinians of an existing fatwa [religious decree] than bans them from selling property to Jews.

Article: PA: Death penalty for those who sell land to Jews
51. Nothing in South African apartheid came close to this racism. Where is the UN Human Rights Commission? Rhetorical question. They probably wrote it.

Title: What could more apartheid than killing people for selling land?
The Muslim countries (yes every single one of them) practise the aspects of apartheid that go beyond anything the South African government ever considered.
Death for selling land to a person based upon the buyers religion is one of the most racist acts.
And morons here defend this racism and then those same individuals attempt with pathetic comparisons and lies to claim that we somehow are the racists.

PA’s fallacious premises

Palestinian Authority demands based on egregiously false assumptions

Arlene Kushner Published:  04.20.09, 12:06

We here in Israel have been asleep at the wheel. In a rush of concessionary zeal after Oslo, we chose to refrain from making our own case. At first this decision, made at a governmental level, was intended to demonstrate our eagerness for peace. But after a time it was almost as if we had forgotten how to speak for ourselves with vigor and forthrightness.

Meanwhile, the Palestinians have waxed inordinately successful at promoting their positions – you’ll find no concessionary zeal on their part. And today the international community swallows those positions whole – without either setting them into historical context or doing a fair and reasonable analysis of precisely what it is that is being promoted as a “given.”

In fairness to the members of the international community, there has been scant reason for them to analyze the validity of Palestinian Authority premises as we haven’t been doing so ourselves. This situation must change, and that change must begin here at home with a forthright challenge to several Palestinian presumptions. The Netanyahu government, at long last, gives hope of being ready to do this. Among the many issues that require a public airing are these:

Mahmoud Abbas, PA president, and others speaking on behalf of the Palestinian position, regularly refer to the “June 4, 1967 border.” What Abbas et al have in mind is the line, commonly called the Green Line, behind which Israel operated before the Six Day War that began on June 5, 1967. Implied is that this line constitutes Israel’s “real” border, and that Israeli presence beyond this is automatically “illegitimate.” Thus, goes the PA argument, there can be no justice, no fairness that will lead to peace, unless Israel returns to her border.

Yet the simple, irrefutable, historical fact is that this line was not a border at all, but merely an armistice line. It was drawn when hostilities ceased at the end of the 1948-49 War of Independence — a war initiated, it should be noted, by the Arab League, which attacked the nascent state of Israel as soon as independ¬ence was declared.

Not only was it an armistice line, it was intended to be temporary. In the signed armistice agreement with Jordan (which was on the other side of that line) there was a clause stating that this line would not prejudice future negotiations on a permanent border. Thus the case cannot legitimately be made that the Green Line has any legal status in determining Israel’s “true” border. It does not. That border has yet to be determined. In negotiations.

Intolerable inequity of demands
Even more egregious is the claim made by the PA regarding the land on the other side of the line that it sees as defining Israel’s border. Its leaders maintain that it must be totally Judenrein. This is a position that is inherently morally offensive, and yet it is accepted wholesale by the world.

When the Palestinians declare with great self-righteousness that “settlements are an obstacle to peace,” what they are actually pushing for is the total removal of Jewish presence on the land they are seeking for their state.

It’s past time to ask why this is all right.

This demand is particularly ironic in light of Palestinian charges that Israel is an “apartheid” state. “Apartheid” is a buzz word, utilized spuriously to delegitimize Israel: anyone who has spent time in Israel and seen the freedom with which Arabs walk the streets and secure equal services knows full well that there is nothing remotely resembling apartheid here.

The situation grows even more ludicrous as the Palestinian leadership has just rejected the demand of Israeli Prime Minster Netanyahu that the PA recognize Israel as a Jewish state.

On Saturday, Azzan al-Ahmed, a close Abbas associate and major Fatah official, declared that, “We reject Netanyahu’s demand to recognize Israel as a Jewish state. This demand illustrates the racist nature of Israel…”

If Israel – which permits its Arab citizens (citizens!) to elect representatives to the Knesset and provides them with full health care and other rights – is “racist” for insisting that the nation must be recognized as having a Jewish character, what, precisely does this make the PA – which seeks to totally drive out every Jew from the land it envisions to be part of a future state?

How long will this intolerable inequity of demands fail to be noted by those who are promoting that “two-state solution”?

Nazareth, Israel — A fiery leaflet disseminated by Muslims in Nazareth against the Pope’s scheduled visit next month has Israeli police concerned they could riot during the visit.

Pope Benedict XVI is scheduled to arrive in Nazareth in another three weeks and tensions in the city can be easily seen…

‘Palestinian’ Apartheid: Gaza campaign of terror against Christians and Westerners

October 19, 2008
Gaza campaign of terror against Christians and Westerners

Gaza : Campagne de terreur contre les chrétiens et les occidentaux. Gaza campaign of terror against Christians and Westerners.

Since the Israeli disengagement from Gaza, this strip of land is “juderein” in the sense that there is a single Jew who can live there. So now it is the turn of Christians to be shown the exit direction, with “the suitcase or the coffin”.

The experts report that there past two years to an upsurge in Gaza attacks against Christians and people perceived as Western culture, especially since the seizure of power by Hamas in June 2007. The targets are churches, Christian schools and the United Nations, the American International School, libraries and cyber cafes.

The last date of incident last Saturday, 31 May, where individuals were attacked with rifle guards the Al-Manara school, stole a vehicle belonging to the Baptist Society of the Holy Book, who runs this school, and threatened the director. The leadership of Hamas does nothing to stop the attacks and nobody has been brought to justice.

Involvement of international jihad.

A report by the Israeli Security has established that there was an increase in the number of attacks against individuals and Christian institutions, as well as those treated with Western values. These attacks are perpetrated by elements related to international jihad and radical Islam. Over the past two years movements associated with Al-Qaeda took responsibility for attacks against Christians and Christian institutions in order to expel openly declared Christians out of Gaza.

The Christian community in Gaza has about 3,000 people. Below is a list of attacks against Christians date, published by the Center for Intelligence and Information on Terrorism of IICC (Israel Intelligence Heritage and Commemoration Center):

* May 18 2008: a high intensity bomb exploded at the entrance to a fast food restaurant near Al-Quds University in downtown Gaza City. The restaurant was completely destroyed. Groups associated with Al-Qaeda have claimed responsibility for attacks with the stated goal of driving Christians out of Gaza.

* May 16 2008 a bomb exploded outside the school Rahabat al-Wardia headed by nuns in the neighborhood of Tel al-Hawa in Gaza City… The previous year, when Hamas took control of the Gaza Strip, the school had been subject to theft and arson.

* April 3 2008: a memorial cemetery for foreigners in the Gaza Strip was destroyed by a bomb.

* Feb 15 2008: Three armed men with the “Army of Islam in the land of Ribat”, a network headed by Mumtaz Dughmush, break into the library and YMCA trigger a bomb that caused extensive damage. Police condemned…, describing the attack as “criminal act” and promising to investigate. The security forces of Hamas have arrested a number of men of the Army of Islam but was released shortly after, following a recent threat to use force to free them.

* Jan 10 2008: a group called “Army of Believers – Al-Qaida in Palestine” attacked the International School in Beit Lahiya twice, torching vehicles and stealing equipment. to a statement issued two days later, the school was accused of making polytheism and propagate “hatred of Islam”. The attacks have been organized to coincide with the visit of U.S. President George W. Bush en Israël. Bush in Israel.

* Dec 31 2007: “Friends of the Bayt al-Sunna Maqdis” a manifesto published on the website Pal-today, affiliated with Islamic Jihad, threatening to attack all those who participated in the celebrations of the new Christian year.

* October 6 2007: militants linked to Hamas abducted Rami Ayad Khadr at his home and killed by a bullet. He was a Christian who worked for the Holy Bible Society.

* June 19 2007: at the capture by Hamas in the Gaza Strip of Hamas gunmen attacked and ransacked a monastery and the church.

* April 21 2007: elements linked to international Jihad attacked the American International School in Gaza City.

* April 15 2007: A group calling itself “the swords of truth in the land of Ribat” detonated bombs in two Internet cafes and a shop selling Christian books, causing damage.

(Islamic Apartheid extremism made) “No-go” (areas for non-Muslims) Bishop defends comments

Feb. 2008

‘No-go’ Bishop defends comments

The Bishop of Rochester has received death threats

A Church of England bishop who claimed Islamic extremism has made some places no-go areas for non-Muslims insists he was right to speak out on the issue.

The Bishop of Rochester, the Rt Rev Dr Michael Nazir-Ali raised the issue last month in a Sunday Telegraph interview.

Now in a follow-up interview with the same newspaper, he accuses church leaders of not confronting the matter.

“The issue had to be raised. There are times when Christian leaders have to speak out. It’s my duty,” he says.

‘Spiritual leaders’

Since making the comments in January he has received threats against himself and his family. Dr Nazir-Ali and his family are now under police protection.

In his latest interview, he insists his remarks were “based on evidence” and have been “strengthened as a result of overwhelming correspondence”.

Do the British people really want to lose that rooting in the Christian faith that has given them everything they cherish?

Rt Rev Dr Michael Nazir-Ali

He argues that a “spiritual and moral vacuum” has occurred in Britain over the past half-century.

Unless Christianity fills that void, he adds, something else may take its place – “and that could be Islam”.

“Do the British people really want to lose that rooting in the Christian faith that has given them everything they cherish – art, literature, architecture, institutions, the monarchy, their value system, their laws?”

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, subsequently faced intense criticism after he said that the adoption of sharia law in the UK was “unavoidable”.

But Dr Nazir-Ali tells the Sunday Telegraph that he strongly rejects this analysis.

“People of every faith should be free within the law to follow what their spiritual leaders direct them to, but that’s very different saying their structures should replace that of the English legal system because there would be conflicts,” he says.

He was born in Pakistan and has both a Christian and Muslim family background.

Exposting the ‘Islamic State Apartheid’
http://www.islamicstateapartheid.com

Welcome to IslamicStateApartheid.com
This organization has recently been founded by a group of York University students from different races and backgrounds who are disgusted by the oppression and apartheid taking place all over Islamic States.
Our goal is to expose Islamic State Apartheid and to begin the liberation of the oppressed!
The American Heritage Dictionary defines apartheid as:
A policy or practice of separating or segregating groups
Islamic State Apartheid can be divided into four categories:
1: Gender
apartheid
2: Sexual Apartheid
3: Religious Apartheid
4: Political
Apartheid
In Islamic states, women are separated from the same class as men- can’t even leave their own homes without male relatives.
In Islamic states, gays are separated from society if discovered….and most likely killed. In Islamic states, other religions are segregated and cannot attain the same rights that the state grants to the Islamic religion. In Sudan, the genocide against the Christian population is being condoned by the government of this Islamic state.
In Islamic States, people who speak out against the state are separated and segregated from the rest of society and imprisoned.
All of the above is APARTHEID! If you do not agree then you are denying the oppression of millions of these people.
BUT WHAT CAN I DO YOU ASK…
1) Read this website and make yourself more knowledgeable about the apartheid practices taking place in Islamic states!
2) Sign up for our mailing list to find out about our events in your city or schools!
3) Buy cool merchandise from our store! All proceeds go to executing campaigns!
4) Donate money to our cause! We need $ to keep up the fight!
5) Check out our resources, links, and sponsors!
6) TELL YOUR FRIENDS!

Donal Blaney: I’m still calling it Islamofascism

February 11, 2008

(Donal Blaney:) I’m still calling it Islamofascism

Last night I debated Mohammed Shafiq from the Ramadan Foundation on BBC Radio Five Live. The topic was Jacqui Smith’s rebranding of Islamic Terrorism as “anti-Islamic activity”. I naturally decried this politically correct example of Orwellian Newspeak.

Mr Shafiq – who chose to defend the hateful Hizb-ut-Tahrir and the extremist cleric Yusuf Al-Qaradawi during our debate – also failed to condemn Hamas or Hezbollah. When I asked him if they were terrorists because they killed innocent people (which, in his attempt to sound moderate, he argued was what terrorists did) he responded by whining about Israel being a state sponsor of terrorism. It’s this kind of evasive moral equivalence that makes it so hard to take protestations of moderation from self-proclaimed Islamic spokesmen seriously.

The debate unfortunately moved away from the specific topic of “anti-Islamic activity” into a wider debate about integration. I argued that Trevor Phillips and Bishop Nazir-Ali were right to decry multiculturalism, cultural apartheid and ghettoisation. Mr Shafiq felt that ALL muslims were victimised and viewing in a hostile manner by wider British society and the use of phrases such as Islamic Terrorism or even Islamism contributed to that.

I cannot help but feel that Mohammed Shafiq, who seems to have encounted some considerable difficulties with his own LibDem leadership this past month, is a far from persuasive or moderate voice for his cause. Most of us are intelligent enough to realise that Islamic Terrorism is not the same thing as the peaceful practice of Islam. Most muslims are not terrorists and most thoroughly oppose terrorism.

If groups like the Ramadan Foundation spent less time wallowing in victim status and whipping up young muslim men into a fervour of bitterness, victimhood and revenge and instead concentrated on finding ways to promote integration rather than cultural apartheid, we would all be better off – muslims and non-muslims alike.

KURDS VS ARAB ‘PALESTINIANS’ – IT PAYS TO BE AN ILLEGITIMATE & MURDEROUS “PALESTINIAN” THAN TO BE A LEGITIMATE PEACEFUL KURD

KURDS VS ARAB ‘PALESTINIANS’
IT PAYS TO BE AN ILLEGITIMATE & MURDEROUS “PALESTINIAN” THAN TO BE A LEGITIMATE PEACEFUL KURD

Dec. 2007

As the world’s about to give yet another state [Jordan ain’t enough?] for the [group of immigrant Arabs into Israel that call themselves as] “Palestinians”, that have never behaved and do not merely fight for a ‘homeland’ which Israel was never theirs anyhow, but have their goal of eliminating Israel, ethnic cleansing and racist genocide, the poor Kurds still sink under oppression by Turkey, by Arab racism in: Syria, Iraq, and by Islamic fascists regime of Iran.

Let’s make it clear, even if there will be a “Palestine” state, it will never change the factual history, that a group of immigrants came into the land of the Jews and hijacked the world comunity via terrorism and Arab oil power to give them yet a second ‘Palestine’ state (after Jordan).

THE KURDS
REAL PEOPLE, WITH REAL ASPIRATION OF A DESERVING HOMELAND – THE LEGITIMATE
VICTIMS OF OPPRESSION & ARAB RACISM

Hiding Arab Racism, May 1, 2005 By Adel MakhoulThis book, like Culture and Imperialism, is essentially about Western prejudice against Islam. Said condemns intellectuals in the West who in his eyes are “agents of exploitation”. Yet Said himself is an agent of racism: Arab Racism.

A Pan Arabist, he always supported Arab unity and “Islam” at the expense of non-Arab and non-Moslem peoples. Said directs and manipulates the Western taste for self criticim, and all that does is deflect the world’s attention from Arab and Moslem attrocities committed against Christians, Kurds, Jews, Israelis, Coptic Christians, non-Arab Sudanese, etc.

Thus, reading Said, you would never realize that Sadam Hussein’s poisoning of the Kurds has never been condemned by one Arab intellectual or leader. This is because a racist prevalent attitude in the Arab mind is that the entire Middle East should be Arab. This also explains the attitude towards Israel, a country that is predominantly non-Moslem and speaks a Middle Eastern language other than Arabic.

The pity is that Said himself is a Christian, yet he never spoke on behalf of Coptic Christians in Egypt, or the right of Christians to practice their faith in Saudi Arabia and probably other places in the Arab World. He is facilitating the overall aim of PanArab Nationalists by distracting the West from what is happening in the Arab world.

For a better understanding of relations between the West and Islam, I recommend books by Bernard Lewis, such as “The Moslem Discovery of Europe” and the “Jews of Islam”. I also recommend books by the Egyptian scholar and Jewish refugee Yael Bat Yeor, such as “The Dhimmi”.

Erasing Ethnic Identity.Syrian Kurds were banned from giving their children names reflecting their ethnic identity.Pary Karadaghi, Director of Kurdish Human Rights Watch in Washington, says one of the most basic ways of showing Kurdish identity was taken away. “The campaign of ‘Arabization’ actually replaced the Kurdish names,” she says. “People could not have Kurdish names on cities, buildings [and] businesses. Children’s names could not be Kurdish.”

Syria’s Kurds struggled for years to survive despite government oppression on many fronts. They closely watched their Iraqi counterparts, who achieved a measure of autonomy in the 1990s, and pressed Damascus for their own rights. Islamofascism – Islamic Apartheid Egypt – Muslim Rioters Destroy Christian Stores

Islamofascism – Islamic Apartheid Egypt

Muslim Rioters Destroy Christian Stores in Egypt By Sze Leng Chan Christian Post Correspondent Mon, Dec. 17 2007 10:48 AM ETCoptic Christian shops were burned and attacked by an angry mob of Muslims in the Egyptian city of Isna, south of Cairo, early Sunday morning.

At least 13 shops were destroyed and the windows of a church damaged, according international news agencies. Although the motivation behind the destruction remains unclear, Reuters claimed the riot started after a Muslim girl was suspected of having sexual relations with two Christian boys.

This was followed by another report that a Muslim woman had her veil forcefully removed by two Coptic Christians in a car parking lot on Saturday, reported the Canadian Press.

Currently, police have upgraded security and imposed a curfew on the town.

Coptic Christians account for 10 percent of the total population of Egypt and often face persecution from the Egyptian government. They claim that their rights in particular are being curtailed through requirements such as needing a license to build a church whereas Muslims can build mosques anywhere as they please.

Arab racism must go

Arab racism must go

There will be no peace around here before Arabs view Jews as human beings

Jackie Levy Published:  12.03.07,
Despite all the ceremonial declarations uttered in Annapolis, my attention was drawn to a small story about the organizers tasked with planning the seating arrangements. As those were peace talks, and as all of us want peace, the organizers were warned about the need to ensure that no Syrian or Saudi official unintentionally encounters some Zionist pest.

This was indeed a large venue, but still, people (just like monkeys) sometimes have to go to the bathroom or wash their hands. In short, they may have to pass through a narrow corridor where, you never know, you may encounter one of those – well, here the speaker is supposed to venomously utter the word: “Zionist.”
Syria’s motives for attending the conference were quite clear. They came to score points and extricate themselves, as much as is possible, out of the axis of evil. In short, they came because of Syrian issues – all the rest didn’t quite interest them, and it was not easy for them as it is. But to bump into an Israeli?! A Jew! Face to face, with no Condoleezza or a sea of officials around. Just you and I. Now that’s way too much, being forced to exchange glances or even mumble something. This is where we draw the line.
After all, Arabs are honorable people, and the Israelis, on top of all the other trouble, have this bad habit of using such incidents in order to suddenly show friendliness, utter some kind of silly joke, and then tell everyone about it. Years after Annapolis, some Israeli minister or advisor could write in his memoirs how he made a quick comment to the Syrian official about the crappy American coffee, and yes, he thinks he saw a hint of a smile on the Syrian’s face – for a moment there, the Israeli will say, we were able to overcome the raging conflict and just be two men, Khaled and I, yearning for some good coffee.

The end of the story is that it was not easy at all to arrange the chairs. Sophisticated algorithms were utilized and multifaceted maneuvers previously only known in Astronomy were used, so that under no circumstances would an Arab and a Jew come in contact or some share kind of proximity that could hurt the feelings of the nation.

Our enemies are racist
Simply put, our enemies, among other things, are quite racist. As opposed to some stigmas, it turns out that arrogance is not an Israeli monopoly. It’s amazing how the Arab world managed to convince the West that the racist hatred is merely legitimate religious sensitivity that must be taken into consideration.
We should also take a moment to consider the fact that for us these things always sound like a silly joke. We treat it the same way we ridicule the Arab refusal to compete against Israeli athletes. None of us, with the exception of the margins of the far Right, have a problem meeting an Arab, shaking his hand, or showing sympathy for him.
The thing is, on their side it’s an absolutely serious matter. It’s hard to believe that anyone in the Arab media was joking about the seating arrangements.

For years we’ve been reprimanding ourselves over our attitude to Arabs and our racist jokes. Yet while we were busy reprimanding, we almost failed to notice that something changed around here. When was the last time you heard a derogatory term like “towel head” being used seriously, without any sarcasm? When was the last time an Israeli film featured an Arab character that was less than divine?
Meanwhile, the exact opposite is happening on the other side. And no, we’re not talking about a minor issue. Even if all the roadblocks will be removed, there will be no peace around here as long as Muslim Arabs don’t view Jews as human beings.
